Room is big and clean. But there’s a serious lack of human interaction. And the pricing system is so confusing. I’m sure that I was charged more than I should pay. Staff at the registration desk are not helpful at all with regard to my query with the final bill.

For a Hyatt property was not up to usual standards. Part of Hotel down where my room was was dark and empty. The ****** had lots of slots but few live games and the advertised $10 blackjack was a joke! 1 table? The other games where at least $15 a hand. I played 1 hand and left and went next door to Gold Coast. Won't be back to Rio!

It was good staying at Rio hotel and resort. However, i believe staff really need to give respect to guests and not be rude with queries specially international traveler New to Country and city.

Loved this hotel!!! We got a KING KING room for $65 + the 50 fee. It was seriously the nicest room, so spacious! The bed was so soft and comfortable. The floors were pristine clean. The bathroom clean. There is a very lit mirror outside the bathroom with full view mirror being out to get ready! So you can see your whole outfit. It was absolutely perfect. Very very clean room. Great FULL WALL window view!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO EAT AT THE BACCCHANAL BUFFET!!!

The shower is completely dangerous. it is extremely slippery so we used towels. Their is no place to put your stuff in the shower if you have more than one person in the room. There is no fan or moving air in the bathroom so the shower gets stuffy really quick.
No coffee machines in any room. We requested one and were told there is a Starbucks on the first floor. It opens at 5am. You can only imagine how busy it is and how long it takes to get a simple cup of joe. It's a racket.
Lastly, the ventilation in the casino is poor. You are immediately hit with the smell of smoke and it doesn't disperse ever. All of the other casinos have really good ventilation and you cannot even smell the smoke from smokers.
The AC in the room in not adequate as it only moves air 2-3 feet from the vent near the floor. So, don't expect it to be cool in the room.
As a World Hyatt member, we expected better.

Rooms are average, and the hotel needs major renovation.
We stay for 3 nights, rooms are spacious, clean. Staff is provided nice service, but rooms furniture are worn-out.

Rooms don't have a coffee maker, which was a big negative for me and they need a little upgrading. Also, the hallway by our room as well as our room when we checked in smelled like pot. The parking lot and front of the hotel smelled liked pot and there were a lot of shady looking people hanging out outside. But the beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice too. It worked for us since we were not partying all night on the strip and had our vehicles so we could drive to wherever we wanted. Would possibly stay again for the value

Room: I was upgraded to a renovated room in the Ipanema Tower. The room was very nice and clean, but the noise cancellation wasn’t great—I could hear loud neighbors and kids running down the hallway. The high-floor view was nice, but the windows were dirty. Also, the shower gel was completely empty from day one, so I had to use the soap bar instead.
Services: There weren’t enough front desk staff, so checking in could take a while. They have self-check-in kiosks, but they’re often out of room keys, so you might have to try different machines or wait in line.
Location: It’s off the Strip, but free parking makes it convenient if you have a car.
Resort Fee: The fee is mandatory, but that’s standard for most hotels—though many charge even more. I wish they offered a discount for guests who don’t use the resort facilities… like me.
Overall: I would return in the future. It’s a good hotel for a reasonable price.
