We love staying here. The redone GO POOL is by far my favorite because it’s free entry and an awesome time. We just had an issue with the cleaning service. We called and asked for towels the first day we got there and waited several hours for them to get delievered. We called again for our second day staying there and asked if they could please clean the room around noon. A cleaner told me she’d do it in an hour but never ended up coming. Eventually someone didn’t come until later in the evening after I called to complain that it still hadn’t gotten cleaned up. Someone finally got there around 4:30pm and did it for us.

The rooms are a little rough, but in my opinion in only sleeping here so who cares. Perfect for that. The cleanliness was a 6/10 id say. Hair in the shower, stains on carpets and walls. Etc. Damaged walls and that in room. But again, if worked. We were comfy and had a perfect view of the sphere and that. It was a perfect location on the strip. Many machines to play. Over all it was excellent and I'd stay here again. The price was perfect. Easy check in and out on the machines. The room was quiet too!

Overall, the Flamingo offers a decent value for the location on the Strip, but there are several drawbacks worth mentioning. The resort fee adds a significant amount to the total cost and doesn't really enhance the stay—definitely something to be aware of when budgeting. Our recently renovated room looked nice at a glance, but some of the finishing details felt rushed (see moved mirror mount and chips on furniture)[also unfinished/unplated electrical work]. The sliding door to the bathroom didn't provide much privacy, and there was a strong sulfur smell coming from the shower drain. Also, there's no bathroom vent, which made it feel stuffy.
The refrigerator in our room wasn’t cold, and we lost leftovers (aka money) because of it. The elevator key card system was hit or miss—it sometimes took several tries to get it to work. There was also a refundable safety deposit charged after booking, which was unexpected.
During our stay, the pools were under construction (pictured), which was a letdown since that was one of the reasons we booked here. The casino feels dated and not as upscale as others nearby. Minor things like very thin toilet paper just added to the sense that some corners were cut. Additionally there seemed to have been some maintenance work (see letter) which luckily didn’t effect my wife and I, though could have been inconvenient.

Convenient location center-strip. Our room view of the garden was great. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Towels were big and soft. Hotel felt secure and safe. Food and drinks are pricey, though. Machines were not kind to us, but we enjoyed our stay! (Note: only the family pool was open, and has pretty limited hours. The 21+ pool is still very mid-construction. That was a little disappointing. )

Just a simple hotel that is conveniently located in the *****. Checking in took so long and there’s no kettle inside the hotel to make a coffee.

We have a perfect room. The only downfall could be the sheer distance of our room to the elevators. As a caveat, it is a quiet area and we have no disturbances at night. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The bathroom worked well stocked with amenities. The room came with a fridge and a safe. I didn’t upgrade so the view is of the roof but you can still see a good view of the surrounding area. We are staying in the habitat tower so when we come out of the elevator we are at the flamingo habitat. It’s quite tranquil. There’s a number of restaurants and the resort is situated right in the middle of the strip which is very convenient.

We booked this place for our 25th wedding anniversary as we wanted to return to Vegas, where we got married.
We booked months in advance for two rooms, one with a king sized double bed for ourselves and another twin for my grown up son and daughter (24 and 20 yrs old).
We chose the Flamingo specifically because of its complex of pools. As my daughter is not old enough to join us in the casino or bars so we decided to spend more time by the pool.
When we arrived we were told without apology or explanation that there were no rooms with a king sized bed available and irrespective of it being our anniversary, the hotel gave us a room with twin beds while my children’s room was nowhere near ours.
My daughter then discovered online that the pools were under construction (see pics) and only the family pool was available for all hotel guests. Had we been informed this would be the case we wouldn’t have booked this hotel and despite making a complaint they took no action.
I don’t mind that the hotel took no account of our anniversary but I do mind that hotel didn’t inform us of its construction works or that they couldn’t honour our booking for a king size bed so we could make alternative plans. They obviously knew this was the case before we arrived and chose not to inform us, thereby deliberately attempting to ruin a special occasion.
