It's challenging to find the entrance of the hotel without making a first mistake to bypass it. There is no microwave and no little fridge in the room even though I've upgraded to a Deluxe room. I had lived in LA in the 80's and 90's and always wondered what it was like to stay there. I'm an AV geek and have parked my car in parking lot B at LAX just to watch the planes land. Stayed here overnight for a flight. It's a nice Marriott property. The location is great for the airport and there is a free shuttle. The rooms were nice, though mine had some plumbing issues which I reported when I checked out.

It has been 4 weeks since I have checked out from the hotel and they still haven’t reimbursed the 200$ deposit fee to my account. The hotel in Vegas returned the fees on the exact same day of my check out in real time. This is disappointing. I’m still hopeful that they resolve this issue.

Beautiful hotel next to Santa Monica Pier overlooking the beach. Rooms are luxurious and the views are wonderful. Stayed here for a few days for work and its location next to the Santa Monica Pier was just great. The staff I met were helpful and friendly. Accommodations were as expected, and I was entirely comfortable. The outdoor pool faces the sea but is overlooked on three sides by multiple levels of rooms. I would go back, if the company picked up the tab again.
