Honestly, this place is great. If you like to workout when you travel, this will be unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Imagine a gold’s gym from the 1880’s that’s been kept up, combined with a hotel, combined with an old school feel and multiple dining options and 100 nooks and crannies and you’d kind of have this place. I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels, this is a great, unique experience.

I picked Mama's because it was close to the Hollywood Palladium. The reviews were great and they did not disappoint! The room was rad! I had drinks at the bar midday on Friday, excellent service! I had dinner Saturday and the Mary's chicken breast meal was excellent!

Freehand LA is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Great interior design & materials (linens, beds etc) to the level that you won't get from many good hotels. Great boutique hotel! Customer Service took it to a 5 star status for me, unbelievable!!! Sal, Assistant Manager was great and made the short stay that much better! Handling the reservations and navigating us where to go was a huge support! Went above and beyond for my family and for this, I took the time to send this note! Much appreciated Sal!

It was a pleasure from beginning to end. The hotel and the rooms were beautiful. All the staff we encountered were professional and polite. The poolside is cozy. This hotel was a perfect midpoint to the different places we planned to visit. We visited Hollywood, Malibu, Santa Monica and downtown LA. The hotel's location made these places a much shorter drive on a day to day basis.

The room was very, very nice. It wasn't too hot or cold and my room had a nice view of the pool/sitting area below. The staff was very nice and helpful, and they did their best to make our stay as fun and pleasant as possible. The only negative was that our room was terribly smelly. This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was an immaculate, brilliant setting. It is ideal for both social gatherings and dates. For me it was a fantastic place to heal. We've had a good time here so far. You'll need a good vantage point to see the entire field. You did a fantastic job!

Attended a class for professional growth. The AC works great in these spaces, my classmates didn't like that but I loved it. There's a really good Starbucks Cafe next to the lobby. Great lobby, lots of sitting spaces for waiting around for your uber /ride. Valets are very attentive and there's a great smoking area outside. Very chill smoke space. There is no need to charge more than 10.00 a night for parking here. 35 +tax for self and 40+ tax for valet is absolutely ridiculous!
