The location is great. Really near to the airport. They offer a direct shuttle. The buffet is good.
I had lived in LA in the 80's and 90's and always wondered what it was like to stay there. I'm an AV geek and have parked my car in parking lot B at LAX just to watch the planes land. Then I paid extra to have a view of the runway from my room during this stay. Wish it wasn't so expensive. Great stay despite the price.
I like this hotel
Beside of hotel have airport is good
I love this
Slightly tired Hilton - if only the rooms were as grand as the lobby. But good value for money if the price is right.
Clean and spacious room and the staff is helpful. Hotel provided shuttle bus to airport. Nice view.
Good to take shuttle bus for free come and out

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in early because I got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional from the momemt of check in, cocktails at the bar, dinner, and checking out. Would definitely send...
Stayed here overnight for a flight. It's a nice Marriott property. The location is great for the airport and there is a free shuttle. The rooms were nice, though mine had some plumbing issues which I reported when I checked out.
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott by LAX. It was easy to get out of LAX. The airport provides a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel which was very nice. We didn’t have to wait long at all for the shuttle. The driver was nice and friendly. It was such a short drive from the airport to the hotel. Once we got dropped off, check-in was a breeze. The attendant was friendly and even offered us water...
Such an Amazing stay I’ve had May 11-14... wow. I would love to return to this location when I come back to visit! Wish parking was a bit cheaper $54 is a bit high. The hotel was super clean even with all the excitement going on and crowded areas. Housekeeping were outstanding and very attentive ! Thank you
This is an amazing place to stay by LAX. The employees always go above and beyond to make your stay special. We checked in at 9 am and even though our room wasn't ready the front desk allows us to store our bags and provided access to the concierge lounge so we could have breakfast and relax while we wait. The food selection in the concierge lounge is also great and the food is excellent. The rooms...
Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your stay. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! Liked: The breakfast was AMAZING (even for its price of $39 per person plus 18% mandatory gratitude for our family of four). I have never seen six flavors of smoked/marinated fish, besides a large variety of ham, eggs, sausages, pastry, vegetables, cereals and high quality fruit served all at once each day in a hotel breakfast buffet. The gym was fantastic - large, exceptionally well equipped, with...
Haven't even gone through my first night but already felt the urge to write this review.
Coming up to the gorgeous lobby on the 70th floor, I was not expecting my room to be ready. I was tired just out of LAX and ready to settle with sofa and cold drink. However, I was promptly given a room on the high floor and with great view as well.
Upon entering the room, I found it absolutely to my liking: modern...
I was so worried I would be placed on a high floor but I checked in late enough that I was place on a mid level floor. The view from the 31st floor was still amazing at night and in the morning. The valet staff was on point and helped me with anything I needed. The check in and check out process was seamless and I definitely received my incidental deposit back. So reviews stated that they never got...
This is a beautiful hotel with good service. It's not as easy to find a hotel like this that has really nice view of the whole city. That said, I don't like the fact that they have so much hidden fees. I only found out upon arriving to the hotel that they charge $69 for parking (valet only) and $40 facility fee per day. That's $109 per day easily on top of the hotel rate. Also, they charge 18% service...
During my recent visit to Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel that truly captured the essence of comfort and elegance. The hotel’s beauty was immediately apparent, with its tasteful decor and inviting atmosphere. Every corner of the establishment was meticulously maintained, reflecting the high standards they uphold.

Excellent stay so far. Highly recommend utilizing the club lounge if you're going to spend much time at the hotel itself, well worth it for the breakfast and afternoon reception. The staff are incredibly helpful, attentive and professional, proactively attending to most things before you even ask for it. Sharia, Michelle and Ling were so helpful and always friendly.

The hotel is gorgeous with lots to do! Amazing food and rooftop restaurant. Pool bars and friendly staff. I had a blast. I actually only stayed on the premises the whole time. I would recommend for vacation or business. Excellent food! I had an amazing view! They have really high floors so I recommend requesting those. The manager Duvon Collins made sure everything was amazing. His staff is so friendly...
Walking distance to LA Live. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Plus Metro access is directly across the street. Pool area is small and lounges fill up quickly. And cement around pool can burn your bare feet within 5 steps. Room condition was great, just wish the windows were cleaner on the outside.

Such a nice location right by the beach with excellent services and many good restaurants nearby and about 10 mins walk to the Ferris wheel 🎡 on the pier of Santa Monica !!!
Comfortable, friendly staff. Starbuck coffee in room make the day
Front desk did not provide the best service upon getting there. Other than that, it was a average stay
The place is near the airport and provides shuttle to the airport, quite convenient. There is also a beach line nearby to go for a short trip if you have half-day in LA only.
the room is very spacey and nice. But the sound insulation of the bedroom is concerning. We can hear the music from the next room clearly.
Love this hotel. Easy to get to and it has everything you need. The only thing is that I tried to extend my stay but I was rejected and had to stay at the Westin instead. I guess because the hotel overbooked…. That how popular it is. I’ll be back either way

Good business hotel next to downtown L.A. Restaurants and cinema close by. Big room with couch. Big bathroom as well. Lively hotel with all services one expects from a business hotel close to the convention center. Own convention center. Walking in the area was safe.
I didn't stay here on my trip, but I enjoyed a few events, food, and the lobby bar while visiting. Marriott delivers in all aspects. My colleagues who did stay here seemed to be happy with their choice while I stayed at another Marriott product down the street.
A solid representation of a stellar brand.
Absolute perfect downtown LA hotel. Joy at the front desk was awesome as was the entire team. Our king executive suite was the perfect size with plenty of space and felt luxurious. We enjoyed drinks at the ritz bar and glance lobby bar as well. Don’t miss out on the Grammy museum free with the destination fee.
The bed and shower were quite luxurious, and we enjoyed sleeping there when we could and the water heated quickly. Overall, we were happy to sleep there and enjoyed the services given, but the hotel shared areas like the hallways and elevators weren’t as clean as our room. The bathroom was awkward, so you could hear more than you’d like. To put it bluntly, the experience was the same as any other Los...
Spacious rooms & great service. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. Lovely breakfast space for Marriott loyalty members (executive lounge), well stocked & well looked after.
Felt it was a good value for $$ at the rate we were able to get.

Leo enjoyed interacting with the respectful, polite and clear staff. He was there on time when I needed his help most. All my problems were resolved on time as he promised without any hidden charges. Try their services and you won't regret it for sure. Kudos!
This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was an immaculate, brilliant setting. It is ideal for both social gatherings and dates. For me it was a fantastic place to heal. We've had a good time here so far. You'll need a good vantage point to see the entire field. You did a fantastic job!
Attended a class for professional growth. The AC works great in these spaces, my classmates didn't like that but I loved it. There's a really good Starbucks Cafe next to the lobby. Great lobby, lots of sitting spaces for waiting around for your uber /ride. Valets are very attentive and there's a great smoking area outside. Very chill smoke space. Hotel is very spacious! Huge long upon entering hotel. Aside from the front desk, there is a long bad and Starbucks located within Cafe Blvd--very good quality food and beverage. It was a great stay. The reason for the four stars is the parking. We arrived by car, unfortunately the first impression is not the best. The reception by a concierge was very unfriendly and barely understandable, I only just understood $70 per day for valet, I think it was extortionate. We then parked ourselves. I never stayed at this hotel overnight but I did go to a couple of weddings at the ballroom. I have to say the whole art deco style is priceless. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great, central location. The room was comfortable and clean and the decor and architecture are gorgeous. The pool is a can’t-miss.

Stunning hotel with so much history. Rooms are huge and beds so comfy.
Definitely recommend taking advantage of the afternoon tea (only available on Saturdays). Tea service was exceptional. Hats off to Mady Romero and her staff. And violinist set the mood perfectly.

The only good of this hotel is that is close to the LAX airport and the shuttle service, it's a bit overpriced due the location, the swimming pool was not working due maintenance, a little maintenance will be good in the rooms.
Good for business traveler as location is convenient near LAX.
Good location and free shuttle service to and fro the airport
Advantage : Near Airport.
A little old facilities, not worth this money
There was drilling and hammering daily since 9 am.
They offered changing my room but could not promise no noise because “the WHOLE building is under renovations”! They will hold you $200 per night on incidentals and charge you $29 per day on “destination fee” which is just “shuttle and coffee” Seriously??? Breakfast not included, and the to go options range 25-35 bucks.

Great experience staying at Hilton Universal City.
Less than 10mins walking distance to Universal studio, though there is shuttle bus as well.

However, they charged a big sum USD20 to microwave food. 😒. It really surprise me, but guess they discourage self pack food, but to get room guests to dine in cafe.
Feel safe and good for family vacation stay...
Fantastic location for Universal Studio Hollywood visit. Buffet breakfast is very nice. Hotel room spacious but dated requiring refurbishment. Front desk welcoming and helpful.

Pros:

It is almost the fabulous like we thought from the website pictures but the swimming pool. It doesn’t have it at all only a giant earth pit.
Very good, the only drawback is that there is a building being built next door, it is too dusty, noisy, and the group of rooms opposite are too close.
We stayed another day because we were so satisfied and had dinner in the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing aesthetic. Very nice accommodations - lovely rooms that are clean and tidy. Even the elevators smell amazing! The staff are relaxed and friendly, the bar was pricey but good. Perfect location - central to all. Would definitely recommend!
This hotel is clean, quiet, chic, and reasonably priced. You will feel secure here in this hotel, which is located in the business district. There's a bar, restaurant, free gym that is 24/7, a pool. It has a gift shop that sells convenience items & souvenirs. Staff is very helpful. You pay extra for WiFi.
I had made a reservation for a one bed room and they said they only had a two bed one. It was surprising since I had made the reservation a month prior. Other than that, the hotel and decoration are really nice. The location is perfect since we were going to go to different downtown locations

Great hotel that is very near Universal Studio
Very friendly service person when checking in, they informed us all the services available. Got a shuttle to Universal Studio free, that saved a up hill walk to the theme park. The bed is great and pillows are just perfect for a good night sleep.
The hotel location is good and very close to the studios. the elevator is too old and the door got stuck multiple times when I took it. In the day I checked out, there was no hot water for whole hotels for more than 1.5 hours.
Did not feel properly welcomed by bar staff at “In the Mix” Bar was cluttered with previous guest glassware. Opposite side had bill folder on it. It was off putting so we sat at a high top. Our family of four recently spent a night at the DoubleTree by Hilton near Little Tokyo, and our experience was, on the whole, satisfactory. The hotel certainly met our basic needs, though it didn't leave a particularly strong impression one way or the other.

Rooms in the tower are unsurprisingly tiny and could do with freshening up. Cabana rooms by pool better if you can handle the noise ! A great stay, look forward to returning.
The history is magnificent, the pool and pool scene is among the top three swimming pool scenes in LA, the location is as good as it gets for a visit to Hollywood but terribly busy and can be a bit loud—tho they did a great job of sound proof windows, far quieter than your average motel. Good hotel in great location, one of the reasons why I’m giving them 4 stars is because they put me on the penthouse floor which also happens to be the floor where they have their club lounge.
