Sunset Marquis Hotel, Los Angeles1 / 50

Los Angeles, 1200 North Alta Loma Road 🧭 Map
I can't say enough good things about the staff, service and amenities at the Sunset Marquis. They went out of their way to turn a bad trip into a great experience after some initial mishaps while traveling. Sydney, who served us multiple times at the restaurant, provided us with good local tips for shopping and experiences. All the valet staff and front desk were so helpful and friendly. The room was...
I can't say enough good things about Sunset Marquis! Secluded and quiet, yet just one block to the Sunset Strip. Lovely gardens, spacious rooms, and excellent food at Cavatina. Best of all, the nicest and most accommodating staff! A great value as well. Never staying anyplace else!
I recently booked the Couple’s Revival Spa Package (2.5-hour experience) and it was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome and at ease. The heated massage table was a delightful touch, providing extra comfort and relaxation throughout the session. The therapists were professional and attentive, ensuring that...
I’ve traveled a lot, and this is the most wonderful hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Not only is it incredibly cool, and in an excellent location, the staff, beginning with Chase, from the second we walked in, and every single one of them there after, were so kind, so accommodating, went above and beyond throughout the whole stay! If I could pick this hotel up and bring it with me everywhere I go, I would...
Stayed here for multiple nights on two different trips in 10 days and got to experience the hotel rooms and the villas. We had a little snafu with the first room but Chase expertly handled it without any questions and is entirely the reason we returned again (and we are so glad we did as he treated us like royalty - thank you Chase!!). The grounds of this property are magnificent - somehow managing...
Beautiful, comfortable oasis tucked away on the edge of Sunset Strip with an amazing garden and the nicest staff I have ever met in a hotel!

Valet is very pleasant, specifically Mario. He is always smiling and wishing everyone a good day. It’s nice to see a friendly face each morning. The hotel is great too. They have microwaves available upon request which was perfect for my long stay.
Once again, had a great experience. It is actually becoming one of our favorite places to enjoy a nice night out. Shout-out to the valet team, great as usual! Thanks Oscar and Julio for making us feel welcome, and big thank you to Andy for returning my forgotten belongings after I had left, the work ethic on this guys is wild.
Mario with valet is amazing. He is attentive and always has a smile! Everyone with valet is also very pleasant. Highly recommend their service. Valet was often the first people o saw in the mornings before my day, it was nice to always see friendly faces before getting started with the day
Very nice place. The service is above average, which is saying a lot for LA. Very pleasant atmosphere. Both the restaurant and the skybar are up on top of the scale. Not much parking available around, but they do have wallet parking available. I definitely would be back. Highly recommended.
I had a wonderful experience with the valet team at the Mondrian Hotel. Marco greeted me with a warm smile every morning, making each day start on a positive note. His friendliness was truly appreciated. Additionally, the entire valet team was impressively quick and efficient, ensuring that my car was always promptly ready. Their exceptional service added greatly to the overall enjoyment of my stay...
I meant to write a review as well :) Very nice hotel. Loved the deco and the atmosphere, trendy and cosmopolitan. Rooms equipped with all you may need, super fast free WIFI (although they only allow three devices per room), complimentary coffee and bottles of water. The restaurant serves beautiful food and the sky bar is worth a visit. I will be back for sure!

Always love visiting the Marina Del Rey. We have been twice and are always amazed by the service and kindness of everyone who works there. We especially love the evening staff - they are so friendly and nice. We are planning on having my parents stay here when they come to town. It is so close to so many shops and restaurants and there is kayaking and paddle boarding at the marina! So much to do. Highly...
My wife and I stayed here for three days. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was clean. The service was amazing. The only downside is that it is a non-smoking hotel. I understand that you can't smoke in the rooms, but outside? I am an avid cigar smoker and it would have been nice to sit outside by the dock and have a cigar and a cocktail. For what you are paying for the experience...
A very nice hotel with cozy rooms and a view, but also quite expensive. You have to pay for everything - from parking for $35 to water in the rooms, where even basic water is not free.
Seemed fine. Was there for like 40 minutes for a meeting. Lots of security cameras in the lobby. Makes ya wonder what went down...
Excellent customer service. Loved the bed. Best nights sleep in a long time...lol only thing was the valet guy first night wanted my keys... apparently for the alarm if it went off. Umm...no I said come to my room. But he was too persistent on having them. And besides a little billing error that was caused a few days later. Overall will stay again...
Only stopped by for dinner and drinks with a close and old friend. The establishment was wonderful and the staff helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area looking for good times and good eats.

Beautiful hotel. Great service. Melissa and Abe are exceptional. They provided amazing service and made me feel welcome and right at home. They went above and beyond. They hit the teamwork and friendliness values that this club strives for. Will definitely be back.
I was working with booking rooms on reservations and found Nicole and Theresa to be professional, helpful, and very patient. I worked a bit more with Nicole, who I found to be exceptionally patient with my indecisiveness, well knowledgeable about the facilities, and very thorough, with regards to the details about planning around my upcoming stay. Nicole could accurately describe the layout of the...
Honestly, this place is great. If you like to workout when you travel, this will be unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Imagine a gold’s gym from the 1880’s that’s been kept up, combined with a hotel, combined with an old school feel and multiple dining options and 100 nooks and crannies and you’d kind of have this place. I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels, this is a great, unique experience.
Melissa made my stay feel very comfortable. She was able to assist me with all my problems. I’m beyond grateful for the caring and respectful care. The hotel staff is very friendly and respectful. My husband and I greatly look forward to our next stay. ✌🏼😁
Love this place. They marry contemporary needs with classic architecture. Great staff, enjoyable food and drink. Well maintained with beautiful public spaces. Overnight guests get workout privileges.
I can't speak for the entire facility because I only explored the space we used for a networking mixer. It appears to be historic looking inside with lovely views of downtown. The room we used worked perfect for the event. The building has character and I'd definitely would attend a future event here. They have garage parking on Olive St (you could easily pass it if you weren't paying attention)...

JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, Los Angeles1 / 50Good price
Los Angeles, 900 West Olympic Boulevard 🧭 Map
Good business hotel next to downtown L.A. Restaurants and cinema close by. Big room with couch. Big bathroom as well. Lively hotel with all services one expects from a business hotel close to the convention center. Own convention center. Walking in the area was safe.
I didn't stay here on my trip, but I enjoyed a few events, food, and the lobby bar while visiting. Marriott delivers in all aspects. My colleagues who did stay here seemed to be happy with their choice while I stayed at another Marriott product down the street. A solid representation of a stellar brand.
Absolute perfect downtown LA hotel. Joy at the front desk was awesome as was the entire team. Our king executive suite was the perfect size with plenty of space and felt luxurious. We enjoyed drinks at the ritz bar and glance lobby bar as well. Don’t miss out on the Grammy museum free with the destination fee.
The bed and shower were quite luxurious, and we enjoyed sleeping there when we could and the water heated quickly. Overall, we were happy to sleep there and enjoyed the services given, but the hotel shared areas like the hallways and elevators weren’t as clean as our room. The bathroom was awkward, so you could hear more than you’d like. To put it bluntly, the experience was the same as any other Los...
Spacious rooms & great service. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. Lovely breakfast space for Marriott loyalty members (executive lounge), well stocked & well looked after. Felt it was a good value for $$ at the rate we were able to get. Would stay again.
Very nice room. Love the heated pool. Close to many restaurants and events. Staff is wonderful. I love a friendly and respectful housekeeping staff, as I work from many hotel rooms. I've chatted with multiple concierges at this JW and Jennifer is the most helpful. She's awesome. They were striking during my stay. I can't say enough about this hotel. I'll skip over all the stuff you'd expect at a top hotel in Santa Monica. They've got all that covered. I noticed that all the little things were done well. Our room was wonderful with all the amenities that I'd want. Nice ocean view, really nice bathroom, great TV, refrigerator, comfortable king size bed. This is a beautiful hotel located in a very convenient location right across the street from the beach. We enjoyed spending time poolside, and we ordered our lunch from the pool servers. The room is well equipped and designed a beautifully as most JW Marriott are. The best thing about this hotel is the location.
Nice location, great service (for the most part). We were there shooting a commercial campaign and using a conference room for base camp. Confrence room was spacious and had lots of natural light, plenty of tables and outlets available. The only 2 complaints I have are 1. the lunch (that we had to order through the hotel as they don't allow outside food/beverages) - horrible sandwiches on white bread...
My company had the privilege of the JW Marriott Santa Monica host our conference. The experience expressed from my team was nothing less than impressive. We even experienced another conference attendees inadvertently indulging in our morning...
Rooms were great. Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful! Food was a bit expensive and they had no parking that was not valet. They do have a good size pool on site and nice outdoor seating while having a drink and a snack. Excellent location next to the Santa Monica pier and 3rd street promenade.
Great hotel 1 block from the beach. Beach view rooms have a great view of the Santa Monica Pier. Great location if you're going to be Rooms were clean and modern. No lounge, but there is a tiny bar in the lobby. Hotel only has valet parking for $40 per night.

amazing location, staff are great, rooms are great, overall the vibe at this boutique hotel is great. in future this will now be where I spend my first 3 days acclimating in LA when first arriving to CA from my country. great spot.
Great place for roof top views of Hollywood. You have to put your name on a waitlist to get to the roof, and happy hour is only on the bottom floor bar, not the roof. The food was not outstanding but not bad at all. A place you have to go at least once. Really great vibe.
One of the best rooftops in Hollywood, if not all of LA. Delicious cocktails, and decent food. This is a must visit place if you're stopping in Hollywood, or out for some fun. The rooftop is why you'd visit. The bar and restaurant downstairs are Ok, but there's better food to be found. This place packs up with a good crowd on almost any sunny afternoon.
The woman at the front desk...I believe her name was Jacki...she was actually very informative of the whole process and made it very enticing to want to visit. I came by myself and she recommended I bring in a group of friends to have the ultimate experience. She even gave me a coupon for my next visit. I was so pleased just with the customer service aspect of the museum. I'm definitely coming back...

This is a beautiful hotel with good service. It's not as easy to find a hotel like this that has really nice view of the whole city. That said, I don't like the fact that they have so much hidden fees. I only found out upon arriving to the hotel that they charge $69 for parking (valet only) and $40 facility fee per day. Freehand was a really interesting place to stay. The decor was stunning, the bar was beautiful and it's in a great location. I stayed in a room shared with 7 friends and it was awesome. The Good: The design of the hotel is homey and relaxed. The shower is fantastic - I didn't want to get out. The bed was comfy. Loved this place. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and super trendy. Great bar/restaurant in the lobby and rooftop bar. Decent sized comfy bed in the dorms. Great location. Only problem is it was so nice at the hostel I didn't see as much of LA as I probably should have. Well done Freehand!!
The room we had was simple and elegant. The bathroom felt like you were stopping back in time (in a good way). Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We went up to the bar doe drinks, and the view at sunset was beautiful. My wife was able to go for an early morning swim before we had to checkout. What an enjoyable stay.
Freehand LA is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Great interior design & materials (linens, beds etc) to the level that you won't get from many good hotels. The beds are outfitted with little nooks to store your bedside needs plus a charging port, which is super cool. Amazing service. And of course it's very clean, safe and well located. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in LA.

Handling the reservations and navigating us where to go was a huge support! Went above and beyond for my family and for this, I took the time to send this note! Much appreciated Sal!
It was a pleasure from beginning to end. The hotel and the rooms were beautiful. All the staff we encountered were professional and polite. The poolside is cozy. This hotel was a perfect midpoint to the different places we planned to visit. We visited Hollywood, Malibu, Santa Monica and downtown LA. The hotel's location made these places a much shorter drive on a day to day basis.
The room was very, very nice. It wasn't too hot or cold and my room had a nice view of the pool/sitting area below. The staff was very nice and helpful, and they did their best to make our stay as fun and pleasant as possible. The only negative was that our room was terribly smelly. It was an incredible sour smell, thankfully I already had room spray with my stuff, but it was a reoccurring smell it...

Be sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when making your reservation. This website will compare countless hotel sites and will usually have rooms much cheaper than others! Please :)! This is one of the best places in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days, you won't regret it. The staff here is great. From security guards to maintenance staff. Close to the airport...
Leo enjoyed interacting with the respectful, polite and clear staff. He was there on time when I needed his help most. All my problems were resolved on time as he promised without any hidden charges. Try their services and you won't regret it for sure. Kudos!
This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was an immaculate, brilliant setting. It is ideal for both social gatherings and dates. For me it was a fantastic place to heal. We've had a good time here so far. You'll need a good vantage point to see the entire field. You did a fantastic job!
Attended a class for professional growth. The AC works great in these spaces, my classmates didn't like that but I loved it. There's a really good Starbucks Cafe next to the lobby. Great lobby, lots of sitting spaces for waiting around for your uber /ride. Valets are very attentive and there's a great smoking area outside. Very chill smoke space. I think it could be a bit further from the entrance...
Hotel is very spacious! Huge long upon entering hotel. Aside from the front desk, there is a long bad and Starbucks located within Cafe Blvd--very good quality food and beverage. Location very convenient to LAX airport, less than a mile away--and offers free shuttle service that runs every 25 minutes or so. Staff is very friendly and professional. I was greeted by the staff multiple times during short...
It was a great stay. The reason for the four stars is the parking. There is no need to charge more than 10.00 a night for parking here. 35 +tax for self and 40+ tax for valet is absolutely ridiculous! Aside from the parking cost I didn't see any of the issues I read about in all the negative reviews on Yelp and Google. The staff was very helpful (although upon checking in one of the staff member was...
