Jonathan at the front desk was top notch! Quick check in and provided me with a tour of where everything was as this was my first stay at this location. I'm more partial to the Santa Monica view than the marina view. I find the city lights at night to be very therapeutic. It's a bit cheaper as well. Service, scene, location...all top notch for a Marriott.

The room was of moderate size and did not include breakfast. However, the front desk mistakenly deducted a pre-authorization fee, which was discovered when checking the bill. We are now contacting the hotel to cancel the refund.

The hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was nice because it was close to the airport, Getty Center, and Venice Beach. Overall, it was spacious and clean, but the bathroom sink area was dark and the shower water pressure was weak, which was disappointing. I drank a bottle of water that was marked as $3, but I was later charged an additional $6, which was a bit absurd.

Rooms are fine. Don't buy the breakfast. It's expensive and the food was cold. And this was at 8AM, not like I wandered in at the tail end of service. $20 for a bad school cafeteria meal, you'd be better off just stopping nearby at a Starbucks or fast food place.

A perfectly adequate hotel, in a good location for the airport, whilst avoiding the airport hotel "premium" (which is why we stayed there). Larger rooms, that are maybe a little dated, but totally fine. They have a breakfast buffet that for over 20 bucks a head, you have to be hungry to make worthwhile! The smoke alarm started to beep at 1 am, the kind of beep indicating battery was in need to be replaced. Call the front desk, they were very responsive and switched us to another room. I know things happen, but this was the first time this happened in a hotel room I have ever stayed. Other than that everything else was fine. Rooms were clean, the breakfast was good. Clean, comfy and courteous. The front desk staff was so accommodating when we arrived several hours early and got us in a room pretty quick. Airport shuttle service every 30 minutes was a great plus. This was a fantastic hotel! We had the nicest experience with the most cooperative staff. They even held our luggage safely and we caught the bus shuttle to the airport. They were great at the front desk. The room was nicer than expected. They even had a sitting area. Bed was very good and it is nice and quiet.  Also, the office had coffee, tea, fresh water, and cookies for the guests.

Convenient transportation and parking. It has its own small parking lot. The breakfast is simple, including bread, bagels, cookies, boiled eggs (cold), milk, coffee, hot water, bananas, and yogurt. We went with our pets and chose twin beds and king beds, which were quite comfortable.

Had a great stay here with wife and baby! The property felt safe and secure, the rooms were very modern and clean, bed was comfortable, the room got dark enough for the baby to nap easily.
