Los Angeles Athletic Club, Los Angeles1 / 50High rating

Los Angeles, 431 West Seventh Street 🧭 Map
I worked a bit more with Nicole, who I found to be exceptionally patient with my indecisiveness, well knowledgeable about the facilities, and very thorough, with regards to the details about planning around my upcoming stay
Melissa and Abe are exceptional. They provided amazing service and made me feel welcome and right at home. They hit the teamwork and friendliness values that this club strives for
Nicole could accurately describe the layout of the rooms, and went above and beyond to help me make decisions about which type of room was ideal
I want management to know that working with such professional and pleasant people really makes me much more inclined to stay at this hotel
I was working with booking rooms on reservations and found Nicole and Theresa to be professional, helpful, and very patient
My husband and I greatly look forward to our next stay

Great attached bar and excellent facilities. Meeting room was good, food was good but the room itself had some artwork that I'd just categorize as off-putting. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel because it is colorful, exceptionally clean, and comfortable, but in this world where courtesy and warmth is lacking, the staff at the Georgian seems to have recovered the easy graciousness of the early 20th century
I chose the Georgian for location, which was wonderful. It was convenient to all things Santa Monica and beyond. But the most striking thing about this hotel, other than it's vintage charm, is the charm of the staff
The last hotel I visited with such friendly, gracious people was in Vienna
Room was pretty quiet at night. Orange juice tasted metallic, eggs were over boiled, there was no other protiens than eggs, mostly carbs like cereals, bagels, and some fruits. I did not try the room service or restaurant
It could be because the hallways are so dark that it feels like they are hiding how dirty the walls and carpet are. Room is bright enough with open curtains or with all the lights turned on but just did not feel fresh

The very nice receptionist offered me a $20 credit towards beverages at the bar (which I didn't use), and an extra pull-on bed free of charge, which I highly appreciated. The elevator system needed to be get used to
The bathroom is clean and just invites you to take a shower and/or bath, the toiletries smelled so great I almost yanked the bottles off the wall :) The bed is soft and comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean linen, so comfortable in fact that I immediately fell into a long nap without even changing my clothes :) Upon waking up I took a quick shower and went out
I have never seen six flavors of smoked/marinated fish, besides a large variety of ham, eggs, sausages, pastry, vegetables, cereals and high quality fruit served all at once each day in a hotel breakfast buffet
The gym was fantastic - large, exceptionally well equipped, with added dry saunas and showers. Great view from our room on 39th floor to the LA downtown and beyond. The room and the beds were comfortable
To travel between floors you have to first go to level 70, enjoy the view and then go to your room, gym or whatever. Every time someone in the elevator grumbled about this weirdness
Haven't even gone through my first night but already felt the urge to write this review. Coming up to the gorgeous lobby on the 70th floor, I was not expecting my room to be ready

I love the hostel-style option at The Freehand. As a single, all I really need is a twin bed and access to a bathroom when I'm traveling. Beds and rooms are clean, really nice, and most importantly, affordable
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and super trendy. Great bar/restaurant in the lobby and rooftop bar. Decent sized comfy bed in the dorms
Only problem is it was so nice at the hostel I didn't see as much of LA as I probably should have
The rooftop pool and bar are a fun bonus! Have stayed here twice, and look forward to returning
My only complaint is that they checked us in almost 3 hours after our initial check in time, but they provided us with free drinks to pass the time. Valet parking is available and there are also cheap lots nearby
Freehand was a really interesting place to stay. The decor was stunning, the bar was beautiful and it's in a great location. I stayed in a room shared with 7 friends and it was awesome

I never stayed at this hotel overnight but I did go to a couple of weddings at the ballroom. I have to say the whole art deco style is priceless. The grand entrance to this hotel with all its detail is breathtaking
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great, central location. The room was comfortable and clean and the decor and architecture are gorgeous. Parking here, at $50/night for self-park, is a ripoff
Stunning hotel with so much history. Rooms are huge and beds so comfy. Definitely recommend taking advantage of the afternoon tea (only available on Saturdays). Hats off to Mady Romero and her staff
I did get a chance to spend some time at a suite at the hotel and even though you can tell that it's a very old building they renovated the interior to feel very modern
Of course, many do know this is a historic monument
And violinist set the mood perfectly

Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, Los Angeles1 / 50
Los Angeles, 901 West Olympic Boulevard 🧭 Map
The mattress was very uncomfortable, and the pillows, also too hard. I requested a softer pillow, and they offered one with feathers, but it was just as uncomfortable as the previous four
The Hotel has wonderful staff… I am staying here for several days and brought my dogs. One of my pups got loose and without a thought Tremell - the Valet Manager, ran with us onto Olympic Blvd to get her back
Highly recommend if you are at the convention center or here for a game
I stayed here for a convention nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was large, spacious and well maintained. I did wish it had a few more outlets in convenient locations for charging things
He did not hesitate, just a wonderful gent, thank you from the bottom of my heart. They have a lovely hotel with people who obviously love working there. Simone(my pup) and I, thank you!
I was also able to check my bag at the desk during the last day of my conference. Location is SUPER convenient! I could easily walk everywhere I needed to

Interior was intricately designed with very fine detailing. The room has a beautiful tub that is very deep/long even for a tall male. The bartenders and staff have all been super friendly and chatty
This is a fantastic property! Truly boutique and a gem in the city. Every corner of public space is designed and decorated to intrigue. Upon entering you are transported to an oasis
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff gave us a complimentary upgrade and an early check-in. The entire hotel has a very classic feel to it with exquisite details
Very stylish hotel, the design is definitely a masterpiece. Every detail is amazing with a lot of surprises and very thoughtful ideas. The rooftop is very cute and chic, throw back to the days in Europe
The rooms are similarly very tastefully done up with lots of small details, including old photos and plans of the city. The housekeeping staff was great and very attentive
10/10 would heartily recommend and stay here again. Thank you for a memorable stay!

You can pay valet parking for $40 per day, but if you want to save money, you can pay $7 per day(weekend rate) by parking at the World Trade Center which is located across the street of the hotel
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. We stayed here for a party at the Microsoft theater and Staples center
Perfect location - central to all
Beautiful hotel, with amazing aesthetic. Very nice accommodations - lovely rooms that are clean and tidy. Even the elevators smell amazing! The staff are relaxed and friendly, the bar was pricey but good
Grand Hotel had great ratings and the prices were reasonable for a luxury hotel. There are several reasons why I love this hotel. First, the hotel room was clean and the beds were very comfortable
Great location, good service, nice bar. This is our second stay, both were for one night, and both were great. Pretty close to the US football stadium as well

The above mentioned hotel is a real oasis of greenery and serenity. It felt strange to be in the middle of a tropical forest. The breakfast was excellent and the service was fast and polite
Plaza on 3rd floor is beautifully situated about 100 steps from MOCA, and directly across the street from the unique Disney Concert Hall and the even more unique Broad Museum, all on Grand Avenue
Staying in this luxurious hotel was the best experience I've ever had! I thanked everyone for their support and support throughout our visit. The rooms are both large and cozy
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This hotel has a fantastic bed, great food, all the amenities and everything else. I had a great time here because everything I wanted was delivered and thanks to these guys for making it possible
Very clean and well appointed rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and room service have great quality food. Love the Plaza attached- you can walk around and get food or just enjoy the patio
Beautiful hotel! The front desk was very accommodating to my needs. My room was beautiful, staff was friendly, room service was excellent! This hotel is in a Great location downtown with beautiful views

Centrally located adjacent to the Americana and 12 minutes from North Hollywood, the room was clean and had a great view of Brand Blvd. Breakfast was amazingly fresh and welcoming first thing in the AM on Thanksgiving
It’s within walking distance to the Glendale Galleria and Americana and is within a short drive to local attractions. They also offer a decent continental style breakfast. The only issues I had were the outside noise
Great hotel in the middle of downtown Glendale. Close to shopping and many great eateries. Parking is a bit pricey for a Hampton Inn, but this is a super convenient location. Staff is great and very professional
Staff was friendly and apologetic that it didn’t work and I just got a key instead. Housekeeping and dining staff were also very friendly. I will stay here again when I’m back in the area
The hotel itself is quiet, and the room was nice, but you can hear all the street traffic. Also, the electronic key in the app didn’t work
The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was special. Would recommend this hotel 10 out of 10 times

Bed is comfy completely giving you the luxury bed vibe no weird loud noises at night slept soundly. ATM is located at lobby in front of the elevators--also inside the elevators each one has a different art
If you have children with special diets and meal prep like I do, they do provide microwaves when you request it which is a huge plus for me
This hotel was amazing! From the check-in process to checkout. The first thing I did was try their espresso martini, which was amazing
So I only interacted with Camila and Caesar the Valet that took my Tesla for supercharging. Hotel indigo is the best hotel and very safe too
Beautiful hotel with a great reception area, decent bar 🍸 also in lobby along with a cafe. Decor is great art is seen everywhere
Staff is amazing, kind and have great knowledge of the area with suggestions and recommendations. Rooms are very cool keeping up with artistic esthetic but more importantly CLEAN

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center nearby. Really enjoyed my stay! The room was richly decorated and I loved all the details in how the rooms are designed, it has a European vibe to it
There’s a heated outdoor pool that has a chic loungy vibe. Overall, loved staying here and 100% recommend staying there if you’re in for a conference at the convention center (or in the area in general)
The paper water carton is more environmentally friendly than the plastic bottles. The king bed was very comfortable. If I had to nitpick something, the valet situation is not the most optimal
Uber/Lyft drivers almost always block the entrance to the valet parking. Valet costs $55/day with tax excluding tips but is above ground. I would prefer a parking garage for that price
The hotel is filled with artwork that reminded us that we are in LA. The room comes with full amenities. I appreciate them giving us 2 cartons of water each day
Also, the bathroom is beautiful but the cobblestone shower is a bit tough on my foot

The hotel doesn't have a pool or spa, which was a bit disappointing, but it does offer a fitness center and business center
There was a Japanese garden that was beautiful but we couldn't take advantage of it during our stay because of the rain. Most days, all year, would probably be lovely for relaxing and gathering with friends and/or family
The location is convenient for exploring downtown LA, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown LA
Lots of fun can be had here if you're into all of that. The front desk was especially helpful and they can also hold onto your luggage if you arrive too early for check in. The rooms are spacious and clean
It even let us know that our room was ready for check in even though it wasn't 4pm yet. The only odd experience is that my room's bathroom door handle was chest height. I would absolutely stay again
I was even given a cookie and a water bottle when I checked in too which was unexpected but welcomed nonetheless. I also didn't realize that Hilton has an app that could open your hotel room too

Great looking lobby, easy to get around. Restaurants throughout the hotel could be labeled better, but I probably just didn't look hard enough. Rooms were clean with a great view of LA (concrete and buildings
Standard business class hotel with amenities. We stayed in Yellow Tower and had a pretty good view. There's a coffee shop, food court, standard restaurants, and room service. There are great lunch/ dinner options nearby
Great hotel, but 500 meters from it begins the area where they live homeless.
The pool is small but nice and there is a decent workout facility
Bedroom is just the usual, but the bathroom is luxurious
And the water pressure is a little low, exacerbated by the fact that the shower has only a top-mounted rain head on it, making it very difficult to properly rinse without relying on the oddly sharp-cornered handheld option

Claudia was very energetic, helpful, and friendly. The room was tact sharp and clean, modern which excelled in comfort. Great location will book again in the future
This was a last-minute stay, and I'm glad we came across it. At least, that's how it looked to me. The front desk employees were very kind and helpful. The room itself was better than I expected
I've booked places like these before (it says it's a hotel, but it's a motel or used to be), and the pictures always look so much better than the actual place
We had a great sleep on a comfortable bed in a quiet room. The complimentary breakfast was great as week! If you are looking for a hotel stay with a great pool or workout room then I would not recommend this
We loved staying at the Xilo! They accommodated us on short notice and gave us a great room. The manager was very nice and obviously passionate about taking care of his hotel and his customers
Ben, at the front desk, is pretty much the nicest most professional hotel dude I've ever encountered. Extremely friendly, thorough, and nice. The rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. Rooms are small but stylish, modern and comfortable
Once they finish remodeling the lobby, bar and pool, it's going to be real hot spot. Not the nicest neighborhood, but a short drive to everything downtown has to offer
*UPDATE* Extra star added for the awesome staff. Doormen, front desk agents, and especially the maintenance guy who came to check on the A/C - they all make an effort to provide a great experience to their guests
I really wish they hadn't cut back the trees out front but since they did, now I wish they'd completely remove the bare tree remnants. It was an odd decision to leave the trees the way they are
What a cool little hotel! Lots of personality, they are doing a great job of bringing back the vibe of it's hey day. Really nice, helpful and genuine staff
Beautiful historic hotel, undergoing renovations that will be great when completed. Friendly staff! Beds were comfortable and bathroom is small but cute!

this hotel before and are usually on the lower available rooms. This time we were lucky to be close to the top, and some friends booked their rooms on two other floors. We all met Sunday morning for breakfast around 8 AM
5 stars directly to Margarita in Housekeeping. My family and I got taken care of by her with a smile all through our 2 week stay. My daughter got food poisoning one day and vomit was all over the bed
Attended a convention and the meeting rooms were big and clean. Staff in restaurant were super helpful and friendly. Only negative was dinner for over ,300 people, there wasn't enough help/servers
My husband had to ask for tes, coffee and more rolls, our waitress said there were no more rolls, but supervisor brought some warm rolls
Said she didn't have time to bring tea but once again my husband got her manager brought us tea and coffee
Food was good, but size didn't match price. O really it was a good weekend and felt "almost" like home

I loved the swim at 7:30 am on the roof top when we had the pool for ourselves. The rooms were fun -- I love the bathrooms with its "transparency". The restaurant in the hotel was okay for breakfast
Overall, not as quirky as The Standard in NYC, but we loved it
It was $20 (cash only) per person which wasn't too bad. It was more of a tacky process if anything. The food was great, the server was really friendly and attentive and service was fast
The Standard is a great spot to just chill and have a few drinks with friends. The music isn't the most ideal but I can see why they chose it. It fits the atmosphere of the lounge
Out of towners like myself, get really disappointed when they can't go grab a drink on the roof and even more so when they're told 4 different times to expect the rooftop to open
We made it all the way to the top and were told by the employees we needed wristbands. We had to exit the hotel and go through the "back side" to get wristbands and pay cover

The beds are rather low to the ground. These low beds would be very uncomfortable for a person who has trouble bending down. The hotel room interior is not very attractive but it was clean. I loved the virtual live desk
Room was clean, beds were comfortable and housekeeping was not intrusive. 24/7 help service was friendly and resolved any issues ASAP. Staff are friendly and helpful. No free parking but typical of DTLA
They could use an extra set of doors out front because it IS downtown LA so sometime people tried to walk in behind me without a code access. I had a great stay and 10/10 would recommend and stay again
The lighting is a bit dim, but there's not much you can do about it between buildings. The location is great, the metro is down the road. To see all of LA this location is 30 minutes from everything
We got the king size room, the size is perfect, and the bed was comfy. I would maybe change the kind of sheets, make them fitted, leave the single sheet in the wardrobe
Wonderful stay and great prices. The room has a more rustic feel. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, shoutout to Michael who checked us in
