The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles, Los Angeles1 / 50
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles
Los Angeles, 404 South Figueroa Street 🧭 Map
Standard business class hotel with amenities. We stayed in Yellow Tower and had a pretty good view. There's a coffee shop, food court, standard restaurants, and room service. There are great lunch/ dinner options nearby
Great looking lobby, easy to get around. Restaurants throughout the hotel could be labeled better, but I probably just didn't look hard enough. Rooms were clean with a great view of LA (concrete and buildings
The pool is small but nice and there is a decent workout facility
Bedroom is just the usual, but the bathroom is luxurious
And the water pressure is a little low, exacerbated by the fact that the shower has only a top-mounted rain head on it, making it very difficult to properly rinse without relying on the oddly sharp-cornered handheld option
The building is stunning and iconic, with gorgeous facilities, and incredible views. The room we stayed in was relatively small and shaped oddly, but not in an unpleasant way

The very nice receptionist offered me a $20 credit towards beverages at the bar (which I didn't use), and an extra pull-on bed free of charge, which I highly appreciated. The elevator system needed to be get used to
The bathroom is clean and just invites you to take a shower and/or bath, the toiletries smelled so great I almost yanked the bottles off the wall :) The bed is soft and comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean linen, so comfortable in fact that I immediately fell into a long nap without even changing my clothes :) Upon waking up I took a quick shower and went out
I have never seen six flavors of smoked/marinated fish, besides a large variety of ham, eggs, sausages, pastry, vegetables, cereals and high quality fruit served all at once each day in a hotel breakfast buffet
The gym was fantastic - large, exceptionally well equipped, with added dry saunas and showers. Great view from our room on 39th floor to the LA downtown and beyond. The room and the beds were comfortable
To travel between floors you have to first go to level 70, enjoy the view and then go to your room, gym or whatever. Every time someone in the elevator grumbled about this weirdness
Haven't even gone through my first night but already felt the urge to write this review. Coming up to the gorgeous lobby on the 70th floor, I was not expecting my room to be ready

Older building that has been meticulously maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The shower had incredible water pressure and all the facilities were in excellent condition. Just down the hill from Disney Hall
We arrived by car, unfortunately the first impression is not the best. The reception by a concierge was very unfriendly and barely understandable, I only just understood $70 per day for valet, I think it was extortionate
I never stayed at this hotel overnight but I did go to a couple of weddings at the ballroom. I have to say the whole art deco style is priceless. The grand entrance to this hotel with all its detail is breathtaking
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great, central location. The room was comfortable and clean and the decor and architecture are gorgeous. Parking here, at $50/night for self-park, is a ripoff
I did get a chance to spend some time at a suite at the hotel and even though you can tell that it's a very old building they renovated the interior to feel very modern
Of course, many do know this is a historic monument

The rooms are a bit on the small side. This is one of the few hotels in the immediate area of the convention center to have a solid hinged door. This is great for privacy when sharing a hotel room
Hotel has a great lobby and is in a really central location. The rooms have always been super clean. The elevators require a key card to use and there's no pool.
When I arrived I was told that they upgraded me to a DELUXE CORNER room with sweeping views! Not only this, they left me a handwritten card wishing me a happy birthday, along with a small cake and chocolate covered strawberries! Who else does this?? The room was modern, clean and luxurious as can be! The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was pretty spacious with floor to ceiling windows...
I wish i had a way to personally thank whoever (couldn't find 'em at the hotel) wrote my B-day card, upgraded us and gave us the strawberries and cake! Thx Sheraton for the above and beyond experience! my new favorite hotel
I stayed here for AX 2018 and it was a very luxurious stay. The club level and fitness room were a treat. The room is nicely furnished and this hotel is in a great location, close to all our needs.
The deck with the fire pit is also very beautiful. The Valet was great, the customer service and overall vibe of the whole visit was spectacular! Also, this location is amazing

You can pay valet parking for $40 per day, but if you want to save money, you can pay $7 per day(weekend rate) by parking at the World Trade Center which is located across the street of the hotel
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. We stayed here for a party at the Microsoft theater and Staples center
Perfect location - central to all
Beautiful hotel, with amazing aesthetic. Very nice accommodations - lovely rooms that are clean and tidy. Even the elevators smell amazing! The staff are relaxed and friendly, the bar was pricey but good
Grand Hotel had great ratings and the prices were reasonable for a luxury hotel. There are several reasons why I love this hotel. First, the hotel room was clean and the beds were very comfortable
Great location, good service, nice bar. This is our second stay, both were for one night, and both were great. Pretty close to the US football stadium as well

Thank you for making us feel welcome
Small shower (about 9 square feet) 2. Breakfast area was reserved for a large party so we were sat at a larger round table - with other people not in our party
My company did not confirm/secure room payment and Omni would not allow for a third party payment authorization at the time of my stay
Location is great, front desk and valet staff are very attentive and kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. My room was facing the street and I couldn’t hear a thing- no noise at all, and the hotel was quiet
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This hotel has a fantastic bed, great food, all the amenities and everything else. I had a great time here because everything I wanted was delivered and thanks to these guys for making it possible
great hotel experience very fancy, good restaurant in there too. All the people who work here are very attentive to you as a guest. Rooms are very nice too, very expensive hotel but you get what you pay for

The hotel doesn't have a pool or spa, which was a bit disappointing, but it does offer a fitness center and business center
There was a Japanese garden that was beautiful but we couldn't take advantage of it during our stay because of the rain. Most days, all year, would probably be lovely for relaxing and gathering with friends and/or family
The location is convenient for exploring downtown LA, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown LA
Lots of fun can be had here if you're into all of that. The front desk was especially helpful and they can also hold onto your luggage if you arrive too early for check in. The rooms are spacious and clean
It even let us know that our room was ready for check in even though it wasn't 4pm yet. The only odd experience is that my room's bathroom door handle was chest height. I would absolutely stay again
I was even given a cookie and a water bottle when I checked in too which was unexpected but welcomed nonetheless. I also didn't realize that Hilton has an app that could open your hotel room too

Digitalized modern hostel concept. Style of furniture is modern & beautiful. Rooms aren’t huge but extremely functional. Lots of space to share with others in lobby. Their check in process was really slow
and check in/out machines are a little glitchy. I am sure they will get the bugs out of the system once they are fully ramped
No parking, it was hard to find a parking spot and paid so much when found one 10 mins away, most of them u have to pay every time u go in and out. It was a nightmare trying to find parking
Also the room was cold and it couldn't get adjusted higher than 24° C or turn the ac off completely

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center nearby. Really enjoyed my stay! The room was richly decorated and I loved all the details in how the rooms are designed, it has a European vibe to it
There’s a heated outdoor pool that has a chic loungy vibe. Overall, loved staying here and 100% recommend staying there if you’re in for a conference at the convention center (or in the area in general)
The paper water carton is more environmentally friendly than the plastic bottles. The king bed was very comfortable. If I had to nitpick something, the valet situation is not the most optimal
Uber/Lyft drivers almost always block the entrance to the valet parking. Valet costs $55/day with tax excluding tips but is above ground. I would prefer a parking garage for that price
The hotel is filled with artwork that reminded us that we are in LA. The room comes with full amenities. I appreciate them giving us 2 cartons of water each day
Also, the bathroom is beautiful but the cobblestone shower is a bit tough on my foot

Interior was intricately designed with very fine detailing. The room has a beautiful tub that is very deep/long even for a tall male. The bartenders and staff have all been super friendly and chatty
This is a fantastic property! Truly boutique and a gem in the city. Every corner of public space is designed and decorated to intrigue. Upon entering you are transported to an oasis
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff gave us a complimentary upgrade and an early check-in. The entire hotel has a very classic feel to it with exquisite details
Very stylish hotel, the design is definitely a masterpiece. Every detail is amazing with a lot of surprises and very thoughtful ideas. The rooftop is very cute and chic, throw back to the days in Europe
The rooms are similarly very tastefully done up with lots of small details, including old photos and plans of the city. The housekeeping staff was great and very attentive
10/10 would heartily recommend and stay here again. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Bed is comfy completely giving you the luxury bed vibe no weird loud noises at night slept soundly. ATM is located at lobby in front of the elevators--also inside the elevators each one has a different art
If you have children with special diets and meal prep like I do, they do provide microwaves when you request it which is a huge plus for me
This hotel was amazing! From the check-in process to checkout. The first thing I did was try their espresso martini, which was amazing
So I only interacted with Camila and Caesar the Valet that took my Tesla for supercharging. Hotel indigo is the best hotel and very safe too
Beautiful hotel with a great reception area, decent bar 🍸 also in lobby along with a cafe. Decor is great art is seen everywhere
Staff is amazing, kind and have great knowledge of the area with suggestions and recommendations. Rooms are very cool keeping up with artistic esthetic but more importantly CLEAN

this hotel before and are usually on the lower available rooms. This time we were lucky to be close to the top, and some friends booked their rooms on two other floors. We all met Sunday morning for breakfast around 8 AM
Margarita not only gave us clean linen asap, she also had the courtesy to ask how my baby was doing the following days. People like her make this hotel the best in Glendale! Thank you Margarita and Hilton!
5 stars directly to Margarita in Housekeeping. My family and I got taken care of by her with a smile all through our 2 week stay. My daughter got food poisoning one day and vomit was all over the bed
Attended a convention and the meeting rooms were big and clean. Staff in restaurant were super helpful and friendly. Only negative was dinner for over ,300 people, there wasn't enough help/servers
My husband had to ask for tes, coffee and more rolls, our waitress said there were no more rolls, but supervisor brought some warm rolls
Said she didn't have time to bring tea but once again my husband got her manager brought us tea and coffee

Once they finish remodeling the lobby, bar and pool, it's going to be real hot spot. Not the nicest neighborhood, but a short drive to everything downtown has to offer
*UPDATE* Extra star added for the awesome staff. Doormen, front desk agents, and especially the maintenance guy who came to check on the A/C - they all make an effort to provide a great experience to their guests
I really wish they hadn't cut back the trees out front but since they did, now I wish they'd completely remove the bare tree remnants. It was an odd decision to leave the trees the way they are
What a cool little hotel! Lots of personality, they are doing a great job of bringing back the vibe of it's hey day. Really nice, helpful and genuine staff
Beautiful historic hotel, undergoing renovations that will be great when completed. Friendly staff! Beds were comfortable and bathroom is small but cute!

Made to order omelettes are very good, especially if you add some homemade salsa. Evening happy hour with complementary drink is simply a win
We are Hhonors Diamond and had two rooms but I'm not sure if either were upgrades. One was internal and overlooked the courtyard with no Window out. Breakfast was busy but efficient and very good
Stayed at this hotel for a festival. The room was very spacious and the pull out couch was big enough to fit two people. They have complimentary happy hour and breakfast in the morning (the good kind!)
Stayed at multiple Hilton brand hotels since pandemic, this was first with return to welcome gift for Honors member. Also offered housekeeping daily without needing ask each morning
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious with made to order omelets. Location was close to family we came to visit and many attractions
They have a pool (but we didn't have time to use it) and the location is very close to the Rose Bowl Stadium. And overall the experience was great!

I love the hostel-style option at The Freehand. As a single, all I really need is a twin bed and access to a bathroom when I'm traveling. Beds and rooms are clean, really nice, and most importantly, affordable
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and super trendy. Great bar/restaurant in the lobby and rooftop bar. Decent sized comfy bed in the dorms
Only problem is it was so nice at the hostel I didn't see as much of LA as I probably should have
The rooftop pool and bar are a fun bonus! Have stayed here twice, and look forward to returning
My only complaint is that they checked us in almost 3 hours after our initial check in time, but they provided us with free drinks to pass the time. Valet parking is available and there are also cheap lots nearby
Freehand was a really interesting place to stay. The decor was stunning, the bar was beautiful and it's in a great location. I stayed in a room shared with 7 friends and it was awesome

I loved the swim at 7:30 am on the roof top when we had the pool for ourselves. The rooms were fun -- I love the bathrooms with its "transparency". The restaurant in the hotel was okay for breakfast
Overall, not as quirky as The Standard in NYC, but we loved it
It was $20 (cash only) per person which wasn't too bad. It was more of a tacky process if anything. The food was great, the server was really friendly and attentive and service was fast
The Standard is a great spot to just chill and have a few drinks with friends. The music isn't the most ideal but I can see why they chose it. It fits the atmosphere of the lounge
Out of towners like myself, get really disappointed when they can't go grab a drink on the roof and even more so when they're told 4 different times to expect the rooftop to open
We made it all the way to the top and were told by the employees we needed wristbands. We had to exit the hotel and go through the "back side" to get wristbands and pay cover

Charming place. Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Amazing rooftop views!
This was a nice, clean, charming hotel in the heart of downtown LA. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool area has great views of downtown and is a relaxing place to spend some time just relaxing
Got in after a long flight and were let into our room early, which was a huge bonus!! Location was fantastic. Service very professional and friendly. We used the spa once, was small but nice that it was outside

The beds are rather low to the ground. These low beds would be very uncomfortable for a person who has trouble bending down. The hotel room interior is not very attractive but it was clean. I loved the virtual live desk
Room was clean, beds were comfortable and housekeeping was not intrusive. 24/7 help service was friendly and resolved any issues ASAP. Staff are friendly and helpful. No free parking but typical of DTLA
They could use an extra set of doors out front because it IS downtown LA so sometime people tried to walk in behind me without a code access. I had a great stay and 10/10 would recommend and stay again
The lighting is a bit dim, but there's not much you can do about it between buildings. The location is great, the metro is down the road. To see all of LA this location is 30 minutes from everything
We got the king size room, the size is perfect, and the bed was comfy. I would maybe change the kind of sheets, make them fitted, leave the single sheet in the wardrobe
Wonderful stay and great prices. The room has a more rustic feel. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, shoutout to Michael who checked us in

The area near the hotel is a bit loud, but the convenience of being 5 minutes from the convention center was great! I also accidentally left my charger in the room after checking out and they helped me get it really promptly, and I appreciated that
Great Bar! The lounge upstairs is the perfect place to relax before and after an event at the Staples Center. The bartenders, Casey and Paul are amazing. They always give the best service and are great conversationalists
It's a good location of you're visiting LA Live, Staples or Convention Center. Well, if you gonna hang downtown in general. Clean, okay price (or actually good compared to neighboring hotels), and newly updated
Great upscale boutique hotel in the heart of LA Live. Walking distance from all the action. They've made lovely renovations to their ballroom space, have an awesome restaurant terrace area that overlooks the City life
Every one was pleased with their drinks. The prickly pear martini, blueberry-lavender mojito and spicy rita were so delicious and refreshing. I've been here a few times before and all times have been great
Couldn't beat the price and location either. The service was great and very accommodating as I showed up with two kids. They brought us a portable crib and a small fridge with no upgrade charges

Great boutique hotel in downtown LA. It’s a Hilton partner through their Tapestry program, and is a fantastic option for those of us who have loyalty/status with Hilton. The vibe is funky, eclectic, urban, and bright
I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The environment was really comfortable, and the front desk staff provided excellent customer service
Overall, I'm glad I went with this hotel. Tip: If you don't want to pay more, just sign up to be a Hilton's Honor(it's free), you save money trust me
The location is good but the surrounding area. Definitely doesn't feel safe to walk by yourself at any time of night
But other than that, staff was cool! I wish I remembered to get their names as they were so helpful and nice! They let me check in early, my room was small but it was only me so I was content
They did not skimp on pillows. Cons: Road noises were a bit of a problem. The high top desk was the only area of improvement for me furniture wise', mostly because I was here for work and needed to do some writing
