Reviews
*They no longer have tennis courts. Although they once clearly heavily marketed their tennis courts they did not go back and clean up that marketing when they removed them. When you search for hotels with good tennis courts in Miami- this hotel comes up on multiple websites. The hotel takes no ownership of this false information.
*The "suite" room was just opening the adjoining door to the room next door in which they had removed the bed and placed a couch.
*The beds sit in front of the windows with the view- so unless you are in the bathroom or you climb over the headboard of the bed you do not get full advantage of the view.
*More than anything- everyone there from the front desk to management had no genuine concern for the tennis court issue. I only sensed annoyance and deflection. The first response to me bringing up the lack of tennis courts was essentially "prove it" which I was shocked by.
Of all the hotels in this area at this price range (or lower) I would not select this hotel under this management.
We had an OK stay
Not a bad value but wasn’t cheap.
Room is dated and needs a refresh
Master bedroom mattress is terrible threw my back out after 4 nights.
Bathrooms are dated and need an update
Photos don’t match the room and a bit misleading when booking
Several issues when we first got there. Bathroom showers not working properly which they fixed but nonetheless a hassle for both bathrooms to not function right
Headboard in master isn’t attached to bed so kept banging into the wall when just laying down. And again the mattress is trash
Pool is small
Pool food is not good and overpriced
No lunch place except the pool and the menu isn’t very good for lunch
Rooms need some snacks or a snack shop the premise would be nice.
Gym is sub par
Small but decent equipment but tiny room and one window. Kind of dinky
Staff was very friendly and outgoing.
My daughter and I stayed here 2 nights for the Taylor Swift concert. All of my encounters with the staff were superb. The doormen, front desk staff and cleaning staff in the hall. The hotel was clean, safe, quiet and walking distance to food options if we wanted. Beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom were extremely large. I was impressed. I was told at check in they were sold out but it never seemed overly crowded. Elevators were prompted and never saw more than 10 people in the lobby. Unknown perk- They had a Taylor Swift Photo Booth set up and we enjoyed that as well. My bill was accurate, no extra charges. The room I had paid for, we received. We will definitely stay here again.
- Bed was very comfortable. We valeted for check in and waited an hour for our luggage. After calling to find out where our luggage was, we waited another 20 minutes beforr getting it. The rooms are small, do not have a mini fridge, and no ice. We called and asked for ice 3 times over the course of 8 hours. After asking for a manager 8 hours later, and after 4 requests, we finally received ice. Regardless of price per night this place is lacking. The portion size and quality on in room food is bewildering. This brand at this location was severely lacking in several, repeating ways.
Service was great and the beds super comfy. Spacious room, but a small TV. Enjoyed dinner out on the balcony at the restaurant.
Got another star for the complientry champagne on check in.
