Wingate by Wyndham Miami Airport, Miami1 / 50

Miami, 3755 NW 78th Avenue 🧭 Map
We just stayed on 8/31/24 and we booked a King suite. There was plenty of room and conveniently located to the highway and Miami international airport. Service was excellent and the check-in process was very easy and friendly. They also had a decent size continental breakfast. Very cool art work on the walls and mini market had sundries. They also have a restaurant. They also had an outdoor pool and...
I enjoyed my stay! Shuttle works, pool is open, theres food (breakfast 7-9, dinner 5-?) did laundry, (2.75/load/dry bring soap) clean bed so soft, room can darken. Everyone friendly, ill be back next time!
The hotel is really nice. They have shuttle from the airport and to the port in Miami. First one is complimentary and the shuttle to the port is $15 per person. Room was clean and neat, AC was working great. Breakfast was included but nothing special. Waffles, eggs and sausage, cereal, fresh fruit, still nice to start the day with some food. Front desk was so nice all day, we got to check in early...
The bedroom area was clean, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast, though limited, is included in the cost of the room and the staff were friendly and efficient. The bathroom was a turn off though - it was in need of some repairs that I don’t believe would have taken much to fix and there were areas that didn’t seem clean.
Everything was well kept in the room and on the property. Looked to be a nice bar area and a grand piano in the lobby. The room was quiet. The pillows were in short supply and the bathroom was not very well lit but these were minor qualms in an overall very comfortable, restful stay. We enjoyed breakfast as well with some unique offerings - quesadillas and broccoli in addition to scrambled eggs...
Beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. However after booking the room, I called to ask about the airport shuttle and he said 40 minutes. There were some issues from the start of the staff not answering the phone. After an hour we called again, and they responded in 20 minutes. We were at door 7 ground level at the hotel shuttle area and said the shuttle was white with the name on it. After...

This Is a great place to stay as well as very comfortable. Friendly staff that helps you with whatever you need. I give this place a 5 star. Difinitly will stay here again. Thank you Best Western,
Great hotel, location is very good, great service and front desk always helpful. Rooms are big enough includes fridge and microwave, free parking always available and wifi is good enough to work, unlike many hotels which is free but slow!! Dolphin mall is a 5 minutes drive. Restaurants, CVS, all close by! Definitely will come back...
Great hotel, staff and a good breakfast, good location, and many good stores in the nearby area for shopping and as well variety for meals. There is a great arepa place across the way and two amazing Argentinian Restaurants and stores. Will stay again. The only thing that needs improvement is that there is only one elevator and it is a bit slow. But the rest is very good!
The staffs was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The rooms clean and fresh. The only problem for me was the TV was a little outdated, no HD TV. The two double beds was a bit small. What I really didn't like is when they asked you about a special request when booking. Example If you prefer a room on the ground floor etc and you said yes, but when you check in there is no room...
Justin Checked us in. He was polite, patient and informative. He made us feel welcomed. The Breakfast was delicious. I'm glad they have a FREE shuttle to and from the mall. I would come back here.
They were very accommodating to us with our grandmother. The breakfast which is included in the price is quite good. The shuttle goes to dolphin mall and the airport for free. Make sure you get up early to go. The shuttle would also pick you up from the mall and airport. Intend to stay here on our next miami trip.

Very convenient location for an unexpected overnight layover, especially if you have a flight in the morning, but it is way too expensive for the quality. It's clean, it's nice, the room I stayed in was very small. There's a bar right downstairs and all the food you expect to find in an American airport. Not a bad place to stay at all, but you're definitely paying a good chunk extra for the convenience...
BAKER is amazing!!! He went above and beyond to assist me and my son. God bless you! Exceptional customer service skills, helpful, warm, extremely thoughtful, friendly, sincere. We will never forgot Your genuine help and kindness. You are a blessing! God will abundantly bless you. This rating is only because of his service!!!
Everybody knows about it Miami International Airport it's best to call and get you prices get all the rules out the way they changed a lot it got a lot Stricker more security so be prepared
Super busy airport. Lots of expansions. Airport is very clean a lot of security but somehow you feel like your in a maze. Would like to see more signs in different languages helping travelers find their way around.

Spent one night here. Very clean and fresh feeling, and very comfortable bed. The steakhouse restaurant on site was excellent. Staff was curteous and helpful.
Very nice hotel. Good hotel for long stays, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Breakfast it's included for all their guests. Lovely home for race weekend. Was surprised to find a full kitchen in an upscale hotel room. Would be great for someone spending more than a weekend there. Had a fabulous dinner at 107 steakhous. Highly recommend that! Pretty standard hotel+breakfast fare. Always a welcome addition to a hotel stay.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The suites are very nice and have all you need if you want to fend for yourself rather than eating out. Great to have included breakfast and light dinner every day! Comfortable beds. Love the shower! Would certainly start here again and recommend to others.

Clean and well maintained. .pool was nice and quiet...staff was friendly...shuttle to and from airport only runs 6am to 10 pm...so that make early flights tough.....very nice breakfast
Hotel was clean and comfortable with a FABULOUS mattress and pillows!! A huge bonus for me! Included breakfast was very very good and fresh assortment. Nice hotel with close location to airport. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I really enjoyed my stay here! My room was comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel
I was lucky to get a room that didnt smell on 4th floor. It did smell a lot on 1st floor though. My shower was hot and surprisingly good pressure compared to other hotels. The pool area is pretty good for relaxation after work. My problem was the reception was not that helpful with a special request I had. Seemed like they don't bother to do anything extra for you. Maybe it was a communication problem...
Holiday Inn Express in Miami exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. This IHG facility has the minimum IHG standards in terms of appeal but could be better.Rooms are decently kept but common areas leave much to desire (doors visibly painted over and over, elevator hmmm). Our stay was fine. Customer service was great . We didn't like the pillows. Either too soft and squishy, not very supportive, or too big and firm. Beds were comfortable though.
Hotel was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. As we drove in the valet personnel were very quick to grab our keys and car. They also took care of all the bags and handed them to the bellhop. Check in was quick and without any flaw. Once we arrived to our room, the views of downtown Miami are out of this world. Highly recommend this hotel.
Loved it! But asked for a balcony they said each room has a balcony but failed to mention they are not for use. Other then that wonderful staff. Clean room and very comfortable atmosphere. Beautiful city views. Easy to get to. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping centers, and the train. Plan on going back.
Nice room . Lobby renovation in progress. Lousy concierge. Bar is active. Many good eating choices nearby. Look for Bon Fromage and Baby Jane over the bridge.
This hotel is beautiful and always working with the local communities setting up events to continue to entertain our hundreds of tourists that visit Miami every year and who stay at this hotel. In the heart of Miami and with great parking right next to it, this hotel hosts great events and it's always on the move and keeping it interesting. The rooms are beautiful and the pricing is suitable 4 most...
The hotel itself is a bit plain. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean but definitely a bit older. The location is nice, within easy walking distance to the Metro Mover, and several good restaurants and sights. However, it is in a busy, noisy city and my room was definitely not well insulated. The honking, sirens, and general noise were a constant through the night.

A friend and I booked a reservation for this hotel for upcoming weekend, October 26th because we were planning to go for poker promotion. Love this place. My kids and I had a blast there. I used to live close to it. And I miss being able to just pop in everyone's in a while. Great dining as well. Maintained excellently. Great service! Just don't lose all your money Haha!
We got the suite with 2 queen beds. The room was extremely clean and did not smell. The beds were comfortable and it was a nice quiet good night's sleep. My only complaint was breakfast. They offered 2 complimentary breakfasts and we had to purchase the other 2 (for a total of $33). It was buffet style, the eggs were watery and the coffee was cold. I would recommend going out for the breakfast. Other...
Room was very spacious and clean. The hotel looked very new and we felt very comfortable. Many hotels in the area are older and need updates. We went down and got a pizza, delicious.
Stayed here for 2 days while in S Florida on vacation. Though this is a casino as well as a hotel, the hotel part is very nice. The property is very clean as well as the room. The staff were very friendly at all times that we interacted with them. The only issue we had was that the AC in our room did not keep it cool enough for us constantly. It would get to the desired temperature, but for some...
The beds are very comfy and the rooms are quiet, but not super clean (we found stains on a decorative pillow and when we accidentally pulled a corner of the bedding away, there was a blood stain on the mattress). Rooms are very old and with outdated appliances and furniture, but they are clean. Big plus is that there is a 24/7 desk. It was the only place around to which I was able to check in at 2 am. Bug thanks for that 122$ is way too much for such rooms, but I paid for being stupid and not booking something decent beforehand.
Extremely clean, in fact I would call it spotless! The office staff is very friendly and efficient, but management should see to it that each room should be a little better equipped. More towels, drinking glasses, ice cube machine, and a few other emmenities should be available. But all in all, for a short stay. The room was quiet and comfortable.
Decent rooms in an older motel. Very clean and quiet and close to places to eat and if going to the beach not far from there either (maybe 2 to 4 miles). We we going to the passport office in Miami so this was ideally located without breaking the bank.
I don't know why their reviews are bad. This is not a hotel... its a motel. And for a motel, I think it was very nice. The people are nice. The one guy some of the reviews are talking about just has rbf. He's actually nice, too. We had no issues. I had to go ask for their broom twice and was told the 1st time that they can clean for me. But I didn't want to leave sand everywhere for them from the beach...
More or less what you would expect for the cost, but it's clean, right next to a Starbucks, and there's a decent local coffee shop across the block. I would definitely stay here again. Just don't expect the Ritz.
It's pretty much exactly what the tagline for this location claims. The rooms are sensibly comfortable and minimalistic, but they offer what you need for a place to rest. The room was the kind of clean where you can still smell the bleach used to disinfect the surfaces, which I could appreciate. Despite its age, the Shalimar is relatively cute from the exterior. The parking is not exactly a pleasure...

The hotels location is great. Very accesible, especially if you're coming from the port via a cruise ship. The lobby is spacious and very modern looking. The rooms on the other hand are a bit outdated and need some attention. The service is great and everyone is very nice and eager to help. Overall, I've really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn at the Port of Miami.
Awesome staff at this hotel! Very friendly and helpful. Lobby is clean and updated. Pool is so-so, a little small. Rooms aren't terrible but could use a little updating. Overall a standard Holiday inn in a fantastic location. Worth the stay.
Close to American airlines arena, right across from great shopping mall, which has fun things to do like boat rides (I would suggest going on the thriller speedboat), also great restaurants near by! Perhaps these days there is much more competition, but that would not harm the occupancy at the Hotel's prime location at the Bay side. Almost year round you need to make reservations ahead. If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The staff here are awesome. The front desk greet you with a sincere smile. They have great advice for getting around. Service at the bar/restaurant was exceptional. The room itself is a 3 star. Clean, but a bit older and small.
Location is great, walking distance to American airlines arena. Had booked two rooms, one king and another room with two beds. Upon arrival both rooms were two beds. The gentlemen at the desk said there were no kings available, we showed him our reservation papers and asked to speak to a manager, the issue was resolved promptly after that. The hotel itself is old and worn, needs some major love....
The Miami city tours in the red bus is just opposite the hotel just 2 minutes walk. 2 Indian restaurants are wishing 10 minutes of walking from hotel. Good coty view from The hotel. The boat tours are also available opposite the hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, each room has a balcony. There is a nice pool for the kids. Very clean with a very nice staff.
Enjoyed my stay. The views were nice. The room and bathroom was smaller than the more modern Marriotts but was clean. No issues at all. You do have to consider parking fees into your stay which runs about 30 bucks extra per day. No buffet breakfast. There is a bistro. There is a cute shopping and eating places in walking distance. South Beach is a 10-15 min drive. Great area

Would give 6 stars for service if I could. Stayed overnight on our way to South America waiting for a delayed connection, and I left my watch in the room. Called them, they confirmed they found it, and sent it me via UPS. Grateful thanks!
As usual the staff lives up to the Marriott standard. They are friendly and efficient with check in and check out. Our room was clean and inviting. Room is insanely quiet given all the airport traffic. Have stayed here before and will stay again. I am a rewards member and only book through Marriott.
Mostly stay here when I am on a business trip. It is right next to the airport, and the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Rooms are comfortable and they have a good bar and a restaurant. Gym is well equipped, and the pool area is nice too.
I would like to give a special shout out to Mark and Ashley at front desk reception. Mark was very helpful assisting me with my printing & photocopy needs. Very nice DoubleTree property. Room was a little on the small side, only seating available aside from the bed was a desk chair and a stiff, oddly situated bench next to the TV. Bathroom was very nice; specifically, the updated shower. Location is ideal for a quick ride to the cruise terminal.

This has hands down been the best hotel stay I have ever had. From the first moment I stepped into the lobby, I was treated as a VIP, and everything was incredibly comfortable.
I stayed at the Thesis this week. It is very convenient to the university. I was impressed with the staff and with my room initially, however I was completely repulsed when I went to take a shower and pubic hairs from a previous guest were on the shower floor.
