Ramada Monterey is centrally located off Highway 1 and 68 in Monterey California. When vacationing or traveling on business few hotels or citys can offer you the opportunities as our hotel does. Ramada Monterey is located within minutes of the internationally acclaimed Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Maritime Museum of Monterey. Another major attraction is Pebble Beach with its architectural elegance resorts and private homes along the 17 mile drive. Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row offers exciting glimpses of a seafarers life in addition to shopping and fine dining. Other points of interest are Big Sur Carmel and Moss Landing - Yacht Harbor. Enjoy our heated pool April through October and inviting hotel rooms with our free wireless high speed internet and 32-inch LCD TVs with over 70 channels. Whatever you may choose to do with your time here please relax and take a deep breath or two of our clean ocean air.

Our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay was wonderful! The rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect for visiting Fisherman’s Wharf.

A special shout-out to Miwa at the front desk — she was absolutely amazing. I accidentally left a personal item in my room, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was returned to me quickly. Her kindness and professionalism really made our stay memorable.

Highly recommend this hotel, not just for the amenities, but for the exceptional service!

We had a great stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay! The location was convenient, the room was clean, and the pool was a nice bonus.

I especially want to thank Miwa at the front desk — she was incredible. I accidentally left a personal item behind, and she made sure it was safely returned to me. That level of care and attention really stood out and made our experience even better.

I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Monterey!

Rooms were great... our ac wasn't working properly but the sliding door opened so I just opened the front door blinds and the slider and it cooled off the room quickly... I was working the Concours event so the location was great! These were the cars that were in our parking lot which i thought was dope... car week was fun!

Was given room 129. Do NOT accept it. Room is next to the "laundry room". In the morning the employees turn on the washers and your relaxing morning is over. Jesus. We felt a train was passing by on top. Have the video and audio to prove. I mean it was loud. Was hoping g to get reimbursed. But Katie said she could do nothing. That Erika was the manager. I called and left a message and Erika never called me back. So here I am giving the review the hotel deserves for not making it right to us. We visited fro. ARIZONA. trying to have a fine family time in a great little city...Shame on them for not disclosing the terrible noise. I would have rather gone to another hotel.

We have been staying at this hotel every year since 2016. The suites are our favorite. The other rooms are great but we love having the extra space with our kids. I wish we would have taken pictures of the last one we stayed in because it was probably our favorite room so far.
It's close to the beach, the aquarium and lots of restaurants. There is a restaurant attached and you get 15% off your bill if you show them your room key.
The staff is great and very helpful. We miss the continental breakfast they used to have but other than that, we will continue to stay at this hotel.
Some people complain about the planes flying over but when we travel we always bring a fan. We have never had any issues getting a good night's rest here and we recommend it to everyone we know.

The facilities in the hotel room are very new, the towels and quilts are new, the mattress is soft and comfortable, there is no toothbrush, toothpaste and disposable slippers, no bottled water and electric kettle, it seems that American hotels do not have these things, no deposit is required, check in with the passport of the person who booked the room (one person is enough). The hotel is 4 miles away from the Monterey Old Fisherman's Wharf, you need to drive there, parking is free, there is a gas station across the road, and you can go to the "Uncle" supermarket in town for shopping. The hotel is a two-story building with no elevator

It's hard to describe this hotel, the only disappointment of this trip.
Let's talk about the front desk first. It's a very small room. When we entered the room, three Indians and Pakistanis were chatting. It didn't look like there were any staff members. After looking around, we confirmed that one of them was a staff member. He spoke English that was completely incomprehensible and had no sense of service.
Let's talk about the room. It was expected to be small, but the bathroom was so small that you couldn't turn around.
Finally, there was another hotel next door with almost the same layout. After dinner, we went to the next door by mistake under the guidance of Google Maps in the dark. It was like a ghost wall and we couldn't find the room. Finally, we found out that it was not the same hotel.
In short, the experience was terrible.

Located next to the main street of the city, it is easy to get in and out, with parking lots, and it is convenient to drive by yourself

Everything is very good, the front desk is friendly, the facilities are complete, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The only problem is that the airport is right next to it, and the noise from the planes taking off and landing at night is too loud, and people with poor sleep quality may not be able to stand it
