Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

Everything is clean. The location is good. They have a 9 hole par 3 golf course that’s very fun for the kids. My kids wanted to play everyday. Pools are great. Rooms could use an update. Staff are excellent.

Me and my wife are reoccurring customers that always have a great experience at this resort. The customer service team, especially John, is always accommodating, reasonable, and respectful every time we stay here. The location is prime with easy access to Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and other famous CA coastal attractions. I run a lot and the back shores is the perfect place to run. As a bonus, the resort has Tesla chargers which helps us avoid crowded super chargers. However, we wish the resort added a few more charging stations with the rise of EV vehicles on roads. Also, the rooms we had have no microwave to reheat leftover food. Overall, this resort is superb and we will definitely come back.

Just wanted to let you know that Kerri and Chris were awesome in making me and my wife feel welcome!!!! I also wanted to include Juan as well. We came there to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and these 3 staff members made it very special and memorable. Thanks to all three of you for a job well done!!!!!

The service is excellent! Beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurant, gorgeous pools. Dog friendly with extra charge. Clean and comfy. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return. Can get noisy near the family pool where they make you stay if you have a dog. Additional charges for resort fee and parking adds up.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. We've been staying here for the last 7 years for an annual family vacation and we've had a good experience each year. Is this hotel perfect? No. Is it well above average? Yes. If you want perfect, go spend $600-700/night for the 4-Seasons. If you can tolerate very good, stay here for a fraction of that price. The location and the grounds are what make this hotel. You are close to the beach, shopping, movie theaters, restaurants, and everything else So Cal has to offer. The trail behind the hotel along the 'back bay' provides a great place to get a run or walk in and the gym and pools are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and try their best to address your needs. We've had a few issues with rooms and noise over the years and they have always been willing to compensate/accommodate. We will continue to stay at the Hyatt for the foreseeable future.
