Clean, well presented. Easy access to shopping mall
Gotta say the service here was next level. They are soooo nice. The parking, the lobby, the pool, the bar, the room staff… felt like royalty. A little pricey but will definitely return given the results.
We really enjoyed our trip at the hotel. The location is so convenient to the shopping mall and minutes to the neighboring beach and trail. Facilities are well maintained, and the staff are very welcoming. My family had a good time there.
I had a great weekend stay with my mom.😊 We really loved our room, it was very nice!! And there was a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room upon entry! They have beautiful outside seating areas to enjoy a meal or just sit and talk/relax. The pool area had an event going on with free snacks and music and a photo booth. The hotel is located conveniently next to a mall with restaurants. But they also...
Tim was amazing from the minute we arrived! Please let him know....! More like him is needed in this 🌎 world!
My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay at this hotel for our 15-year anniversary last week. It is immaculately clean and everything is new and updated. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The thing that made our stay the most memorable was our Guest Experience Expert, Maddie. She knew it was our anniversary and had a surprise treat tray complete with a handwritten, personalized note delivered...

Such a great end to our two week USA trip. The kids loved the pool and waterslide. Our room was great. We played golf, hired a fire pit one night for s’mores and relaxed by the pool during the day.
Stayed here for 2 nights for a work conference. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room barely cooled down despite having a mini split and my balcony had a super weird smell when I stepped out onto it. Rooms are very dated and while mine was “clean” my colleague had a live coach roach in hers. Definitely a dated hotel that maybe 30 years ago was great. Also very loud for sleeping. Wouldn’t stay here...
Everything is clean. The location is good. They have a 9 hole par 3 golf course that’s very fun for the kids. My kids wanted to play everyday. Pools are great. Rooms could use an update. Staff are excellent.
Me and my wife are reoccurring customers that always have a great experience at this resort. The customer service team, especially John, is always accommodating, reasonable, and respectful every time we stay here. The location is prime with easy access to Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and other famous CA coastal attractions. I run a lot and the back shores is the perfect place to run. As a bonus...
size and comfort of room very good, staff amiable, facilities good and plenty of space
This was a pretty good place to stay. Room by the main pool very simple, no balcony. The noise from the pool’s water slide pump was right outside our door and it was so noisy all day. Small wooden door between the room and bathroom didn’t allow for privacy. The biggest disappointment was the $36 we paid PER DAY for self parking in their huge parking lot. Robbery! We enjoyed the food and coffee. And...

normal business hotel but with attention to details which males business travel way more easier
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good.
The restaurant had good food with quality service. Construction happening at the front entrance makes navigating the main floor a bit difficult. The pool area is nice and kept clean.
Very close to John Wayne. It was nice before the remodel, can't wait to see it after it's all done. Staff was very nice.
The location of this hotel is convenient being right across from John Wayne Airport. The downside of this is that if you are placed in a room facing the airport you will have the constant noise of jet engines. Rooms opposite the airport didn't have this issue. The hotel is nice and it was clean. It is under construction, but it didn't seem to affect our stay at all. Both rooms we were in had issues...
Attend events here regularly. The catering staff could do better when serving, as many times they miss bringing plates of food until others at the table are nearly finished eating. Better to have several servers attend to one table until done then proceed to another. Seems very chaotic at best usually. Refilling of water glasses would also be a nice gesture.

Regardless of the current bad evaluation of the hotel, I really appreciate this hotel. It is a little old, but it is distinctive and very distinctive, and there is an excellent interaction with the sun and the views, which makes the building in a strategic place
This hotel is now closed and has been sold to Pendry Hotels and Resorts group. (The sister company of Montage Resorts.) The hotel will be fully remodeled and expected to reopen in a year under the new name Pendry.
A fantastic hotel. All the staff were perfect. All our needs were met. We opted out of the room service, received $15 credit per day and drank coffee in the room till we were sweating beans. They provided all the towels . water and other complimentary amenities at non cost per day.
Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Room service was extremely fast and always cooked properly and fresh. Prices were high as expected. This hotel features nightly entertainment and seemed to be very busy entertaining many guests. The hotel over looks a nice fashion square. Known for it's shopping and good eats. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very nice. My only complaint would have...
We enjoyed the hotels location. It was great to be walking distance to Fashion Island. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and the private golf course. Although you can't walk to the beach it's very easy to drive there and enjoy the surf and the sand. The pool was crowded but felt homey with a family friendly environment. The kids enjoyed the ping ping table right off of the pool.
The experience: Good location and walking distance to food and shopping. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful, lobby bar has parties at night with a DJ and poolside bar fun to hang out in the evenings

I recently stayed at Balboa Bay Resort and had an amazing time. The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. Melissa R., who works at the cafe near the restaurant, stood out with her warm and friendly customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was outstanding. Melissa's extensive menu knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests made for...
I recently took a girlfriends trip and stayed at the Balboa Bay Hotel. Every facet of our visit was exceptional, from the welcoming valets and front desk staff to our lovely room. The property is not large—and the staff to guest ratio is quite high, creating a true feeling of being on vacation. The concierge desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping and bell service were similarly attentive. I must acknowledge...
Overall the resort is wonderful. We are non-resident members. My only criticism is that the hotel will not guarantee adjoining rooms when requested. Even though there are several resorts within in near vicinity of the Bay Club that will guarantee adjoining rooms. This is the primary reason I will not give a perfect 5-star review.
Recently stayed at the Balboa Bay Resort, on a business trip and had a great experience. The hotel location was conveniently located, with a beautiful view of the bay. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the Bay view king room was fabously. I also got to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The staff were super polite and professional, as well as extremely accommodating. The room cleaning service was...
Hands-down, one of the best stays that I’ve ever had. Their customer service is amazing, I only stood for two days, so I ended up getting just a standard room but to my surprise, it was quite spacious, and the bathrooms are oversized which is quite nice! I brought my six-year-old and they gave him a complimentary, small teddy bear, and a book and some goodies. This hotel is very intentional, and on...
As always, impeccable service. One goes into relaxation mode, the minute they step into this nice hotel. Love the colors of the interior. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a perfect place to unwind, as it’s located right by the water with the view of nice boats and yachts. At night you can enjoy dinner and drinks by the fire pit. Just love staying here. Perfectly managed

Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Lovely pool and not crowded.
We stayed 4 nights for a quick visit with friends. The staff was very friendly. Room was nice and clean. We didn't have our kids with us but noticed they had a movie night by the pool which was a nice bonus for families with kids. I would recommend.
Marriott always provides a great experience. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean, and it was a fantastic location with a wonderful nature trail to walk. The hallways had a musty smell, and I would recommend it's time to rip out that carpet. The pool area was small, and they had a movie night for the kids.
The rooms here were perfect for our family of 4 with 2 college-aged kids. The people were superb! Everyone we encountered was so friendly. They have beautiful grounds. The restaurant and bar are a little overpriced. Paid $25. For 2 beers. But overall, it was a great experience.
I never write reviews but today I had too! Definitely a 5 star hotel. Best services, clean rooms, and delicious breakfast! Everyone treated us like home. Cooks and waitresses were the sweetest persons I’ve ever met. Every morning they would greet us waiting to start our day! Will definitely be back. My family stayed here last week and we enjoyed our visit. We had a very embarrassing situation with another guest upon arrival and unfortunately made a scene. Breathtaking views. Very kind and helpful staff. Expensive but high quality services.
Great place to relax It was an amazing few days of relaxation with our family. The spacious accommodations provided room and options. Made dinner in our room - the provisions in the room provided everything needed. Highly recommend a stay here if time permits.
Pelican Hill is a beautiful property with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. The staff bend over backwards to make your vacation experience memorable. It is pricey, but they treat guests extremely well
The room is clean and the environment is beautiful
The room is big and the ceiling is high, but the facilities are a bit old. Breakfast is not a buffet. The service is the same as the buffet. It takes 10 minutes to pour warm water. The hotel has a good view.

Gorgeous historic hotel at the Balboa Pier,, right on the oceanfront in Balboa, California. The staff is wonderfully accommodating. So many fun things to do, so many amazing places to eat nearby, can't go wrong staying here!
Room was only ok but I chose an inexpensive no frills room. Service was great. Location should be 6 stars. Pier and bike path runs right in front of the hotel and plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Loved it.
Great hotel at a great location. Excellent service. I purchased the deluxe room but it did not come with a fireplace or balcony. So if you really want to upgrade, go bigger.
The location was great, ocean view from the 3rd floor balcony! We had our dog & the staff was really nice too. It is the beach after all, but the last night when we got back from dinner there was a BIG roach on the bathroom sink! They came right away & sprayed but we slept with all the lights on!
You cannot beat the location. Beautiful beach and wonderful local restaurants. The hotel could use some updating but I'll stay there again soon.
Great spot right on the beach with a pier right in front of it. Amazing historic architecture (not the easiest of you have disabilities or mobility issues). Perfect to be near the party scene.

The Valet team is excellent, setting the tone for the wonderful hospitality the Renaissance team delivered during our stay. The AC in the room was too noisy and disturbing sleep at night. Others amenities are well served.
I love this city so much so I booked this hotel. But i did't know why the housekeeping just used the key and opened the door directly after knocking twice. I haven't walked to the door yet and he just opened the door and came in. I was pissed. Can you please just call first or maybe wait for a second till i open the door for you?!

Amazing customer service and everyone is friendly. Walking distance from the beach. We felt like Cancun without the all inclusive amenities. They need a better job with parking, 55.00/night and it’s only valet. During busy days and or weddings at the hotel expect a 45-1hr for them to get your vehicle. 55/night it’s too much for people who are staying there.
Waterfront Always a great time at the Hilton Waterfront hotel. Very customer friendly hotel.
The resort was full of amenities and the breakfast was 10 stars i loved it. Super clean amd well organized. THE ONLY THIING THEY DO NEED IS A BIGGER GYM AMD BETTER EQUIPMENT.
I loved my stay here!!! The only things I wasn’t as crazy about is that the size is really large to get from one side to the other (say if you want a coffee) and it’s not terribly soundproofed; I could hear a lot of shouting in the halls and the people making noise in the room above me. Still an absolutely wonderful stay, but worth keeping in mind depending on the purposes of your visit!
This was our first time at The Waterfront Beach Resort, and will be our new go to when in the area. We were treated so kindly by everyone we came into contact with. Attention to detail for travelers has gone down. Their free breakfast in morning is not what it used to be. No movie channels in room, our fridge was frozen over on back side panels, we had to use the hairdryer to defrost it ourselves so it was cold again.
I had a small incident happen with my car and the staff was extreme accommodating and understaing. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. Really appreciate Krissy and Kim for great customer service. The rooms are big and very clean, and breakfast is great as well! Highly recommend
Total value for your money. Basic hotel/motel but staff was EXCELLENT. I really need to applaud the front desk clerk, Chrissy. She was super helpful in booking my reservation and holding 2 extra rooms for our friends. And she for us all adjoining rooms. 5 star customer service! Room was basic, but very clean, beds comfortable, everything worked
The place was really nice, you get what you pay. The rooms are big enough, with fridge, and breakfast. The attention was good. Also there are improving the rooms. The only complain was that they didn't clean the room everyday.
Beds are clean and bug free. Nice and quiet. Good sized breakfast, but the coffee sucks. Friendly staff. Perfect for short budget stays.

Lady on reception was very friendly. Great size room and convenient parking.
Reading the reviews you’d be scared to stay here but my overnight was pleasant enough. The common areas are bright and clean and the reception staff was friendly on check in. I only stayed a night due to a flight cancellation but the room was large and clean although the bathroom was a bit outdated.
Our stay was awesome! We stayed for 2 nights. Free parking and free breakfast! Their price is very reasonable. Friendly staff and clean room. We were worried if it would be noisy, but we did not hear anything. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet.
Mid-range business hotel with large swimming pool and free breakfast I booked this hotel for one night as the penultimate stop on a bike trip between Vancouver and San Diego. Rooms were dated, plenty bugs, and mirrors everywhere!!! Bed was comfy enough, patio of the room needed to be de-webbed! AC is very loud and you can hear all the plumbing from each room around you. The door had gaps all around making us believe it wasn't closed all the way! The pool area was beautiful with lots of covered space and up to 9ft deep!!
I love staying at the Atrium Hotel, I've come back three times this summer for relaxing weekend getaways. The rooms were a perfect size, clean and had all the amenities I needed. The price/performance ratio is quite high and the transportation is very convenient
Facilities: The air conditioner is not hot, it doesn't work to adjust it a few times, the colder it gets Hygiene: OK, large customer flow, not demanding Environment: The first floor is very nice and lively Service: Good, attitude and professionalism are OK
Overall it's ok, but the breakfast is relatively monotonous. There is no need to book breakfast in advance, otherwise the variety is too monotonous, you can only eat one kind, and the price is not discounted.
It’s great and the breakfast at the lobby is great too
Overall, the location is quite quiet, and the internal environment is not bad. Irvine is a wealthy area, so the security is relatively high. The hotel is also quite comfortable and good. The hotel is truly excellent with immensely helpful staff in every area.. The hidden gem that elevates any stay is the added perk of Club 12. Coffee at sunrise and drinks at sunset.

Prices vary but they are not bad for a very clean and friendly Motel 6. Also the housekeepers are awesome! Oralia is nice and caring and is always walking around with a smile on her face, along with Mrs. Julieta and Senora...
Checked in at 12pm. Rooms are spacious clean and smelled good even tho it was a smoking room. They have a big Doggy park. Hot water and all the outlets worked. They have microwave and fridge. This motel 6 is by far the nicest one I've ever stayed at.
Motel 6 in Garden Grove has been by far my greatest stay. Starting with great Customer Service. Sam & Kat are awesome!! They make sure your happy & satisfied. There rooms have the most comfortable beds with AC's that actually work. Parking is never a problem. There housekeepers always work hard and they make sure your happy & satisfied with there services. My favorite place in Southern California! Love love love this location, the view, the beach access and walkable to everything in Laguna. Been coming since 2017 and seen this place improve so much! Piece of Paradise on Earth!
Hi My family has been staying at Laguna Riviera since 1979. We absolutely love everything about it. (We are the DERISO family) We can’t wait to see you the week of the 16th in April. My mom and I always stay in 302 and my brother and his wife always like 508. We are so excited to see the remodeled rooms. I spoke to John the other night when I made our reservation. He was telling me all the remodel...
Amazing location, we stayed in the king room with balcony + patio. Close to a lot of great food places, Ralph’s was down the street, friendly staff! Remodeling was not loud at all, one thing was we got charged for amenities the day we left even though we never used them. I think this should only be charged if it’s used, hopefully this is something that can be adjusted in the future. We will be back
We had a perfect last minute getaway here. The staff was super friendly and helpful with minor things that came up, as well as recommendations for around town. Sunset is absolutely stunning from just about anywhere on the property! We also really enjoyed spending our evening in the enclosed heated pool and Jacuzzi; floating around watching the hanging plants sway above you with palms swaying along...
Love this place! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The room was more like our own apartment with all of our needs exceeded. We spent more time at our place than we ever have before, having a beautiful view of the beach, ocean, and sunsets. We easily walked to many of our destinations and took the trolley to others. Beautiful location, beautiful place, great staff. Highly recommend!
Room was larger than expected, there weren't enough photos of the Oceanview suite when we booked. Good ocean view. Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. Staff were very friendly.

Staff werr helpful and accommodating. Hotel didn't charge my card for an incidental deposit.
This Holiday Inn has clean, spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered is great, good variety of foods and the quality is high. Parking is easy and accessible, and the hotel location is close to multiple amenities.
This is a really good express in I have been staying at this hotel for the past few years when I travel to Garden Grove the prices are good the amenities are good the service is good plenty of parking and close enough to local businesses that you do not have to travel far
This was a great location for a laid back trip to the SoCal area. I wanted to be close to Huntington Beach and use my points. And for 20k a night it was a great deal and a short drive to the beach. The rooms were clean and the hotel was a great place to stay with friends or family. Heated pool and hot tub that they kept open a little later for me as I got back late from Santa Monica. Great staff and...
Nice hotel, from the outside looking in, it looks pretty extravagant. The lighting outside is also very nice and hotel has plenty of parking. It's also located next to a gas station for your convenience as well.
The location can't be beat. It's a 10 minute car ride to Disney. The rooms are great for families and easily accommodated myself, my husband, our toddler and our infant. Our room smelled of smoke, that's my only complaint.

Nice room, great front desk staff, very clean. Only negative is people in room overhead stomp while walking. Not very soundproof. Otherwise, I highly recommend and would stay here again.
The staff here is very helpful. The breakfast served is delicious. The rooms are neat and tidy. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. They have a 24 hr gym. A swimming pool which can be visited between the given time. And last but not the least their room prices are super good.
Rooms are nice. Location isn't the best if you need to be near any theme parks, but its right off the 22. Staff is nice, there seems ti be enough parking. Rooms are a little dated, but not that bad. Bathrooms are huge. Laundry is free. Cost is affordable. Great restaurants nearby.
Wonderful amenities and welcoming staff! Pet friendly and affordable for long term stays. Great staff from management and front desk staff to housekeeping and maintenance. I’d gladly welcome anyone working here into my home. A true pleasure.

Some of the lamp fixtures are outdated. I don’t work as well. The parking is OK, but it can’t get full by the end of the night.
Free parking, still close to everything The front desk person at check in was excellent. We felt welcomed and he made everything easy. The room is big! Free parking is also super helpful.
Hotel service is very good and very quiet

My family and I had a great experience here. The rooms are very clean and I got a warm welcoming feeling as soon as I walked into the lobby. But my most memorable experience would have to be with Angelo. He is one of the most professional and pleasant people I have experienced at a hotel. I travel a lot with my family and in hotels a few times every month. We were so happy and Angelo left a lasting...
As a longtime elite member, currently Titanium, this has been one of the best Marriott properties I have stayed at. Modern and up to date, clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and convenient location with ample parking. The grounds are immaculate and the property is so well taken care of. I had one of the best nights sleep here last night. Comfortable beds and amazing insulation/sound proofing...
Staff were very helpful and caring. Facility was very clean!
I have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Irvine Spectrum several times and hope to return. Good value for the money. The hotel location is terrific, 2 blocks from Irvine Spectrum Center and 7 tenths of a mile from the excellent San Diego Creek Bike Trail on which cars and trucks cannot travel, and which connects to several other hard-paved off-road bike trails. The hotel staff is so nice. Very welcoming...
We had an excellent stay here. No complaints. It is a nice quick walk to the Spectrum, and we went across to the rooftop bar at the Marriott, which was really pretty at sunset. The room was modern, clean, and the window opens a little which is always nice in a hotel to have fresh air! My hamburger from the bar was great as well. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent clean Hotel and Customer service! Great amenities and walking distance to the Irvine Spectrum.
Don't equate Marriott in the United States with Marriott in China. They are not of the same level at all. This one is relatively new in Irvine. The indoor and outdoor areas are OK. I forgot whether the parking fee is 40 or 50 a day, but I still parked for safety. It would be troublesome if the car was smashed. Parking is valet parking. I didn't see anyone tipping, so I don't need to tip. Foreigners...
Ctrip upgraded the hotel, it was ok to stay in
Big room, good service, good location
A decent hotel, nothing to say. But the parking fee is too expensive, 55 US dollars a day.
Just like that, Marriott International should not have the same expectations as Marriott China.

Fantastic location, fantastic facilities and fantastic staff
I was a little worried after reading the bad reviews left here but after staying I have to say this place was great. I found no issues with cleanliness, staff or park wait times. We didn't partake in any additional activities or dining offered by the resort so I can't speak to food quality or pricing. The park offered enough enjoyment for us over a 2 night, 3 day stay to not have to worry about...
Your opinion of Great Wolf Lodge will depend on your expectation going in so I will do my best to simply talk about what they are, pros and cons rather than just talk about my experience there. To start, they are more than a water park. If I were rating them just as a water park, I would rate them on the lower side. However, as a water park, there are two definite pros. One is that the slides are...
My family had a WONDERFUL visit to Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove! The water park was a BLAST and it was easy to stay the entire day without getting bored. My children could not get enough of all of the slides, wave pool, and boggie board ride. There was one employee that made our day EXTRA SPECIAL. Our children were shopping for present in the gift shop area and GRISELDA was so kind and helpful...
The room was clean. The water park was great for the kids. The bathrooms and showers were clean. It wasn't too crowded on Thursday. Didn't really care for the wristband having to wear it the whole day. Wife also said the desk person wasn't really nice. We were there again recently for Thursday and Friday. It was definitely busy this time around.
It was fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed our 2 days there. The indoor water park was the best. I can't wait to go back... I've been back 3 times since the first time. The family can't get enough of this place, it's a one stop shop vacation and I love the convenience of it all! Always a blast!

good location, free parking, clean and tidy, we had rooms on the first floor with an ocean outlook.
We had a wonderful experience at Seaside Laguna Inn. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Our room also faced to the ocean view which is really great! At the back of this hotel there is a stairs where you can use to get to the beach. Highly recommend you stay at Laguna Inn if you're around Laguna Beach!
Love this quaint hotel and its location. The ameties for the price could be better. You pay for the balcony and the view so I would expect that the patio furniture be more than cheap plastic. The TV needs to be mounted on the wall so that the coffee and microwave look tidy and clean. Maybe coffee upgrade, i.e., Kurig or Pod type. Everyone who works here is beyond nice and accommodating.
Highly recommend!! This is my favorite place to stay in Laguna Beach! Whenever I've planned a trip for Laguna, I always book this place. Not only is the location top-notch, with the ocean right behind the inn, but the room is comfortable, cute, and cozy. I've read more negative reviews about the service/room amenities, but when I actually stayed there I had nothing but a great time! The price was...
A beautiful little inn not even five minutes from ocean access! It was so lovely staying there. Wonderfully modest and a very nice price. The friendly lobby pup was an added bonus. Free breakfast. 5-10 minutes away from shops and restaurants on PCH. Will be back whenever we're in Laguna.
Booked a room for about $150 a night over Thanksgiving. It said ocean view, but I was blown away when I entered the room and realized I had a complete balcony where I could sit outside and look right at the ocean. Clean. Quiet. Nice staff. Amazing prices. The beach is accessible from a path a half block away.

My stay at the hotel was pretty alright, and considering the location, it was a decent value for the money. The place was conveniently close to Disneyland. And let's not forget the Target right across the street. Plus, there were a bunch of restaurants and quick bites nearby. Parking? No worries there. They had plenty of spaces, so that was a relief. The rooms were alright in terms of size, though...
Stayed here for a 3 day Disneyland trip. Although I didn't stay that much in the hotel room but to get served for anything, be it, check-in or asking for towels, or toothbrushes, takes so long. And to top it off, make sure when they clean your room, they actually wipe the bathroom floor and replace your towels, because they didn't! They took the dirty ones and left my room with no towels. Didn't really...
The location is wonderful. Very close to dinning and shopping. If you’re going to Disneyland it’s a wonderful location to stay at. We had some changes in plans during a recent holiday which resulted in us booking this hotel at 11pm. They were extremely helpful at a late hour. The room was good with two queen beds. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is sit-down restaurant style. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a more expensive Disney/Anaheim vacation.

It’s your standard ESA. I do Like the layout of this location the rooms are set up in an “apartment” type situation where there are multiple buildings with just two levels. I like this place. It's one of the better Extended Stays in the area, but it's the staff that I enjoy the most. My sisters and I loved this place. We were treated with respect and kindness. Since there were three of us and because we're Muslim women, they gave us the most secluded room.
