Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf

The staff at the Caza Hotel were very accommodating. I had a very early flight and they were able to arrange an early check-in for me. They also let me leave my rental car in the parking lot for a few hours after check-out. The bartender was happy to celebrate with me (even if he didn’t drink with me). The front desk staff also went out of their way to help me find a tour on short notice.

This was a great hotel. It was very clean and looked very nice inside and out. The location is perfect and the parking was very nice and easy to use. Anyone who has a car and needs parking should stay here. The bed was very nice and comfortable. We had the best nights sleep there. Definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We felt safe during our stay and we had no noisy neighbors. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was nice and clean. Great job Hotel Caza!

Had a great stay. Reasonable price ($230 after all taxes/resort fees) for the room (got 2 double beds vs 1 king s/s 3 of us). Entire hotel felt clean. All staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable. Pool tables, arcade games, Giant Connect 4 and other fun games for the whole family. Comfortable sitting area. Surprise plus were the water and ice stations. Great location for the marina/North Beach. Easy to park and drop off items. Parking available for $60. Just parked on the street but we had lived in San Francisco before and are used to it. Would definitely stay here again. Asked for a mini fridge but they didn't have any so call ahead if you need one for medical reasons. They did keep our groceries in the fridge downstairs for us (just had a birthday cake to keep warm). Would have liked to have had it for cold drinks in the room but that was fine. Would have liked to have known how to use self check in instead of waiting in line for staff to show up but it was also nice that they walked me through the process.

My family had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We loved the common areas downstairs and the grab and go food/drinks. The heated pool area is very nice! You could not get a better location. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Would stay here again for sure!

The rooms were clean and met all our needs. The lobby bar had a great bartender who gave us some insights on where to go for the night in San Fran. I appreciated how they held our bags for us the morning of checking out when we went to go check out Alcatraz. Great location to walk along the wharf sea area

Hotel Caza was a godsend after our original "hotel" turned out to be very dangerous. We received excellent service; the room was very nice and the view was beautiful. The wifi was quality as we were both working remote with no problems.

I will note the complimentary bikes they lend out are beach cruisers, which is not recommended in a hilly place like San Francisco. I would recommend if you want to bike around to find a quality bike rental (there are plenty nearby).

Our party of 15 stayed here for 2 nights. Hard to beat the location if you are a tourist like we were. Found our room to be spacious and clean and the bed (king) was comfortable. Bathroom was clean but the lighting was a little too dim for our liking. Bath linens were changed daily, a must have for us. There was no coffee maker in the room. (A coffee maker in the room would have resulted in 5 stars) Complimentary coffee was available in the morning and at night there was complimentary milk and Oreo cookies. No complimentary breakfast. The concierge was very helpful and tried to get our party a dinner reservation at a restaurant he felt we would like, Fog Harbor, but they would not take a reservation for parties over 6. But he tried real hard. All in all if we go back to San Francisco we will most likely stay here again.

+ Location of hotel was in very close proximity to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiardelli Chocolates, the Naval Maritime Museum, the Trolley, tour boats to Alcatraz, as well as several very nice restaurants and taverns. Uh...the room was very clean.
- The food/drink (like a mini store or cafe) area closed way too early in the evening, especially considering there didn't appear to be any snack or soda machines anywhere within the hotel. If you wanted anything to eat or drink after about 8 pm or so, you had to go outside the hotel premises. That basically limited you to an In-and-Out Burger that was about a 10-minute walk to get to, and which after dark was a...very interesting place...to say the least.

The location for tourists is unbeatable. The Marina is two blocks away, with plenty of food and attractions. Lombard Street and Street Car are about two blocks away. There are electric scooters outside the hotel; I recommend using Lime and getting a day pass. The hotel was great, with a pool table, TVs, games, and more in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. From here you can easily get to most of San Francisco's attractions. The area is clean and safe. The beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable.
