We booked a Superior room, the bathroom was the size of a cupboard ! honestly the smallest I have ever had in a hotel, I booked through the official website ,in the.description it states : Bathrobes & sofa bed which leads one to believe the room is an adequate size ! when queried the receptionist had no knowledge of any website stating these amenities, so I had to show her. I ordered fruit for the room, it never appeared, when queried I was promised one free of charge, very nice but it also never appeared. Our passports got locked in the safe because the batteries needed replacing !!
other than that, nice enough hotel and staff were very nice , location is good and close to Pinecrest 24 hour diner should you arrive late !!

I booked a room for a guest (a foreigner female with limited knowledge of English) at the hotel through Hotels.com. I gave credit card information and all other info they asked for. When the guest arrived, they rejected the guest since our card was not physically present at the property. When we decided to cancel the reservation, they refused the cancellation and charged the same card that was not present at the property. The staff was rude and hung up on us twice and then refused to respond to the Hotels.com representative. There was no manager on site and one "Mr. Wilson" that was on call, was not cooperative. All of this could have been resolved by one email (requesting a consent to charge the card). When asked, the staff said, we should have asked for that email the day before. I looked at the booking confirmation and there was no such thing that a third party payor should ask for consent at any time. At the end, they kicked the guest (a female, foreigner, with limited knowledge of English) out of the hotel around 9:00pm in San Francisco. If I could give no star I would have done so.

Very convenient location! I chose this hotel looking for a spacious room where my husband and I could work from, and it was perfect for it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the adjacent bar and restaurant were top notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel. It’s located right in the heart of San Francisco. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The hotel is not to big but charming, with a very friendly and helpful staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The reception and restaurant areas are elegant and well-maintained, giving a classy first impression. However, the rooms themselves could use some updates. While they were clean and tidy, they felt a bit dated and would benefit from some refurbishment.

One thing that caught me off guard was the daily $30 fee, which the hotel charges for “premium” internet access and a small glass of red wine. Unfortunately, the wine was not of the highest quality, and I didn’t find much use for the internet, so this extra charge felt unnecessary.

Overall, the hotel is a solid choice for its great location and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a nice place to stay, but it could really benefit from a refresh to bring it up to modern standards. Still, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it for those who prioritize location and service over brand-new amenities.

The hotel is not far from the heart of the City, at a walking distance. The place is not very sexy but that's OK. The staff is super friendly. Hopefully because this is an hotel which would need to be renovated. There was a resort fee of USD 31 / day, which is super high when there are almost no amenities to justify it (a "glass" of wine, 10% on the next door restaurant where I've never been). Jackie decided to wave it, which was nice and honest from her part, giving the feeling that she perfectly understood the issue. She also told the bartender to give a real glass of wine (white or red, no choice for the wine) in a wine glass, instead of 10 cl of wine in a water glass (this is supposed to be part of the resort fee). Note that the suite I booked was supposed to have a city view as mentionned on the reservation but the main view was on the wall of the building next door. I think the hotel is a bit expensive for what it is, especially in the actual social/drug crisis in San Francisco. The center of the City is not the best place to be anymore. Thanks again to Jackie, Tinnie, and the staff of the hotel for their kindness.

Aside from the fact that it is in a dingy part of town, the hotel was great. Staff were friendly and competent.

Had a fantastic stay at the Warwick. I arrived early and Nestor was kind enough to check me in early. The rooms and common areas are clean and efficient while being charming and inviting. For a boutique hotel I found the rooms large with nice windows overlooking the city views. Can’t beat the location for transit and accessibility to shopping and Nob Hill, however do think about the downtown core and the noise there is when booking here. It didn’t bother me at all but may be a deterrent for some - however the hotel staff and accommodations more than make up for this.

Very well located hotel

The hotel front desk was very welcoming, with very handsome guys. The location was also good, not far from the subway entrance. The security was OK, and the door was locked at night. Except for the small room, everything else was OK. I would like to remind you that there is no toothbrush or toothpaste in American hotels (luckily I brought my own). When I went downstairs at 5 a.m., I saw that the security guard was actually a tough black lady, which made me feel very safe! In addition, the hotel has its own restaurant and bar, so you can go downstairs to order some food, which is very convenient.

The hotel is just walking distance to Union Square. The housekeeping service is good and front desk personal is friendly.
