We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a place with interesting history and a cool aesthetic, this is the place for you! We are not looking for a traditional “southwestern” looking hotel, so we were happy to find this gem that is an integral part of Santa Fe history but truly different from others in the area. The rooms are not huge, but beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the room was clean. The service at the hotel was impressive. They texted me before I arrived and I could text whenever I needed anything! The staff brought an iron and mini fridge at no extra cost and were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Just dropped by to check out for a friend. I was impressed with the cleanliness and charm. The front counter person was very helpful and I had no trouble parking

Parking was the best part of the hotel. We had the smallest room in the hotel or any other for that matter. There was absolutely zero amenities. This hotel is way too expensive for what you get.

This is an odd one. The hotel is an old one, but seems to be reasonably well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe King room, which was spacious. There are no closets in the rooms, with limited storage provided by an armoire, which also houses a small television. There is no artwork anywhere. With the all-white walls and ceilings, it made for a somewhat bleak atmosphere. Despite the large size of the room, there was only the bed and two chairs for furnishings. There should be a sofa and a coffee table. There was no luggage caddy, so we had to use the chairs for our suitcases. The bathroom sink is not in the bathroom; rather, it is in the bedroom proper. The bed was quite comfortable, and the windows open, to allow the fresh air in. There is only one "amenity" that I could find, which is a fitness closet (quite tiny, with very little equipment). If you can get a price deal, it is worth considering, as it puts you within walking distance of a lot of good stuff. If I were the hotel, I would consider some artwork, as well as a bit better furnishings, especially in the deluxe rooms.

Elegant, austere to the point of monastic. This historic hotel is beautifully maintained. As in most historic hotels the rooms are small but well appointed. Excellent location in the center of Santa Fe. My favorite hotel here. Try the sage smoked margarita, sit outside and watch the world walk by.

5 Stars! My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. We were welcomed with a chocolate cake, champagne and a sweet card! Since we’re both vegan, they went above and beyond to get us a vegan cake. Plus, the hotel is so romantic and walking distance to everything. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

Lovely hotel! Great service and homey vibe. Our housekeeper Anna Marie was delightful. Seeing her warm smile and receiving her thoughtful greeting first thing in the morning started the day off well. Janel at the front desk was likewise delightful. \Would strongly recommend.

Fantastic place with great atmosphere. Rooms are small but cozy. Excellent and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Try the smoked sage margarita at the bar.
