After looking around New Mexico and planning a long weekend away, I chose to stay here as it was sort of in the middle of what we wanted to do. The site represents New Mexico perfectly and has fantastic sculptures and decor. It appears to be very clean which is always a huge plus. We stayed one night and we're disappointed. Room was not what we expected. Before COVID we use to stay there. Now the room needs updating. No amenities. We just completely not happy. Pillows feel like your are sleeping on logs didn't get a good night sleep. The room was a birthday gift from my daughter. Too bad I didn't enjoyed it.

Overall pretty good experience. Beds in rooms were very comfortable with beautiful linens, fluffy pillows and a very comfortable mattress that was just soft enough. I stayed here for a works conference and the place was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and made up brilliantly. The local grounds were lovely also and staff were very helpful. I would certainly come back here with my partner for a weekend or longer break. I didn't partake in any of the amenities but there is a spa for those that enjoy that. Amazing place.

Very relaxing hotel with rooms spread around the property amidst fountains and greenery. The staff was wonderful, especially the vallet who welcomed us to the hotel. We loves the fireplace in the room and the traditional wooden ceiling. Would stay again!

Go here if you want to relax. The rooms are peaceful; the beds are great. The restaurants and bars are lovely. Do *NOT* stay here if you need to twork or get around quickly. Mandatory valet (often with no one in the valet station and people milling around walking for their cars) and barely any internet access.

This is an odd one. The hotel is an old one, but seems to be reasonably well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe King room, which was spacious. There are no closets in the rooms, with limited storage provided by an armoire, which also houses a small television. There is no artwork anywhere. Elegant, austere to the point of monastic. This historic hotel is beautifully maintained. As in most historic hotels the rooms are small but well appointed. Excellent location in the center of Santa Fe. My favorite hotel here. Try the sage smoked margarita, sit outside and watch the world walk by.

5 Stars! My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. We were welcomed with a chocolate cake, champagne and a sweet card! Since we’re both vegan, they went above and beyond to get us a vegan cake. Plus, the hotel is so romantic and walking distance to everything. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

Lovely hotel! Great service and homey vibe. Our housekeeper Anna Marie was delightful. Seeing her warm smile and receiving her thoughtful greeting first thing in the morning started the day off well. Janel at the front desk was likewise delightful. \Would strongly recommend.

Nice old Santa Fe feel in the lounge, restaurant, bar and room. Great southwestern paintings in the hallways. Good New Mexican breakfasts and dinners, although a bit overpriced. We had our daughter's wedding there in June of 2024. David and his team are top notch. I would give them 5+++ stars if I could. The food was excellent. The hotel and location speak for themselves but without David and his team it would have just been another nice hotel. We definitely recommend having your event at the LaFonda.

A very nice hotel with large houses that are well maintained and very clean. There are hikes on property, nice pool, gym, mountain biking, yoga, etc. Note: It's not close to the Plaza, but they have shuttles. They have a wonderful chef! Dinner here may have been my favorite part of my visit. Wow!

Stayed here during the 4th of July and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming. Each night there’s turn down service where housekeeping provides water, cookies, and prepares the room for a nights sleep. It’s also right in downtown close to shopping and plenty of restaurants.

This place is absolutely amazing! We just got a day pass but will definitely stay overnight next time we are in town. There are multiple pool areas that range in temperature. I had a wonderful week with a friend and the sofa services, restaurant and activities available were great! I'm here for work. It was easy to get there. Fast and easy to check-in online. It was a bit noisy until 1am. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was updated. The room had a smell of stale cigarettes. Nice staff.

We made reservations weeks in advance. We called to confirm our reservations the day of. But when we arrived somehow they no longer had our rooms. My friend that's over 6 feet had to stay in a double bed after he had specifically reserved a king-size. Rooms smelled musty. This place is very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome with something for every taste and diet. The fitness room is open 24/7 The pool is tiny but clean and cold. The pool area has towels, chairs and tables.

It is very charming and quirky b&b. Every room is decorated differently. It's not only pet friendly property but also staff gave my each dog treats and toys. How sweet. Room was excellent and spacious and within walking distance of several restaurants and entertainment options. We loved the patio and really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

I have stayed at Tienda Inn across the street and thought that was expecting a similar experience. Also the other reviews were pretty good, but instead the room, while large, was really worn and dated. Definitely not the best experience. beautiful little Boutique Hotel in the middle of downtown. Very conveniently located and walking distance to most major sites in Santa Fe. Staff was exceptionally friendly especially the breakfast team in the kitchen who prepared an excellent omelette and espresso. Definitely two thumbs up and highly recommended
