After looking around New Mexico and planning a long weekend away, I chose to stay here as it was sort of in the middle of what we wanted to do. The site represents New Mexico perfectly and has fantastic sculptures and decor. It appears to be very clean which is always a huge plus. We stayed one night and we're disappointed. Room was not what we expected. Before COVID we use to stay there. Now the room needs updating. No amenities. We just completely not happy. Pillows feel like your are sleeping on logs didn't get a good night sleep. The room was a birthday gift from my daughter. Too bad I didn't enjoyed it.

Overall pretty good experience. Beds in rooms were very comfortable with beautiful linens, fluffy pillows and a very comfortable mattress that was just soft enough. Room itself needs a little updating, wallpapering peeling, wear to furniture, and general colors/design look a little dated. Pools were great- large and fun plenty of room to splash around. Excellent room, very spacious. A tub shower and a separate glass shower in the bathroom, with lights that start dim and get brighter so they don't hurt first thing in the morning. The service was amazing and the location is perfect as it is near all of the Santa Fe landmarks. The rooftop pool is a nice place to relax and have a snack and a drink. My only complaint is the rooms being a bit dated for the price.

Impressive hotel with spacious rooms and a great pool to chill in (not quite one for swimming). The location is fantastic and parking was complementary in my visit. Do not dine here though! There are plenty of incredible options close to the hotel !

The checkin experience was ridiculous. And the front desk manager told me I needed to calm down after waiting more than 15 mins trapped by 2 cars. Bellman came and took the luggage from the car behind me and told those people to go ahead and drive down to valet. It's mandatory valet parking but no one near the hotel entrance to tell you that. I booked a suite with two double beds, and since I was planning to walk all day, I emailed the hotel directly to make sure I would be able to get a room with a bathtub to relieve my fatigue, but unfortunately, because a group of guests had arrived on the day, I ended up with a room with only a shower during my stay, which was disappointing. Nice old Santa Fe feel in the lounge, restaurant, bar and room. Great southwestern paintings in the hallways. Good New Mexican breakfasts and dinners, although a bit overpriced. Staff very friendly and easy to deal with. Also there was a free shuttle service to the Santa Fe plaza which we did not use since we had a car.

The hotel shuttle was excellent. Our hats off to our driver Rick! Would not have wanted to walk to the plaza area due to it seemed a little sketchy. So The shuttle took us everywhere and picked us up. The hotel itself had authentic native decor which was nice but it felt old and stale. Service from all the staff was excellent!

If you are relying on any of the spa/dog watching amenities listed online, be sure to book in advance as they may not be available. Nice room, convenient location, pretty good restaurant. I was disappointed in the room, quite cramped, the outside door had gaps around and below that light could be seen from the inside and room for "critters" such as scorpions and others to come in uninvited. For a five-star rated resort, it was a large disappointment.

This was a lovely property with many amenities such as the spa, fitness center, shuttle, restaurant within walking distance to the galleries, shops and restaurants however some of the rooms felt old and dark. The convenience was great, but the layout of the room made it impossible to enjoy the fireplace or watch the TV with any comfort. 2 uncomforatble chairs in the corner faced the fireplace, and the TV faced the side of the bed and away from the 2 chairs. The toilet was litereally infront of the sink- we could wash our hands as we went to the bathroom. I think they might want to rethink the bedroom layout

We stayed at La Posada for our one year Wedding Anniversary. Upon arrival your are greeted immediately with complimentary valet parking, which is so helpful since parking in the historic Santa Fe area can be tricky. We had a wonderful less than 24 hours at La Posada with our 13year old & 2year old Golden Doodle - love that they allow dogs, have multiple restaurants & a heated saltwater pool & hottub. & it's so pretty!!

The star is incredibly friendly and very professional. My room was upgraded without asking and I very much appreciated it.

This is a beautiful property. Our room (casita???) was beautiful and elegant. The staff at the resort were all friendly and helpful. The food at the on-site Terra restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend the Dulce de Leche Warm Cake for dessert, but know that it's big enough for two people, so bring a friend! It was one of the best dessert experiences I have had anywhere.

The Four Seasons property in Santa Fe is an immersive experience. The casitas exude quiet luxury and pamper you with fireplaces and lovely amenities. Just incredible service from start to finish, beginning with the booking all the way through checkout. Resort is quiet, with excellent views to the Jemez Mountains, 30 miles away. Rooms were excellent--no notes. The resort is wonderfully secluded with great hiking trails behind it up into the foothills of the mountains behind it.

Stayed here during the 4th of July and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming. Each night there’s turn down service where housekeeping provides water, cookies, and prepares the room for a nights sleep. It’s also right in downtown close to shopping and plenty of restaurants.

This is an odd one. The hotel is an old one, but seems to be reasonably well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe King room, which was spacious. Elegant, austere to the point of monastic. This historic hotel is beautifully maintained. As in most historic hotels the rooms are small but well appointed. Excellent location in the center of Santa Fe. My favorite hotel here. Try the sage smoked margarita, sit outside and watch the world walk by.

5 Stars! My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. We were welcomed with a chocolate cake, champagne and a sweet card! Really enjoyed our time at Chimayo in Santa Fe! I didn’t really feel like I was in a hotel but maybe in my own adobe. It was a nice change of pace. We had such a nice stay here! The staff were incredible, and the room and location were perfect. We only stayed one night while passing through Santa Fe but we are already planning a return trip to stay longer. Highly recommend!

The staff was awesome! I had left my wallet at home and was very worried that there would be complications getting into our room. It was a complete nothing-burger. The Suite we had was very clean and roomy. the balcony was great. Thanks for a very memorable time in Santa Fe. The Impala on their home page was in the parking garage. Very cool.

I'm here for work. It was easy to get there. Fast and easy to check-in online. It was a bit noisy until 1am. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was updated. The room had a smell of stale cigarettes. Nice staff.

We made reservations weeks in advance. We called to confirm our reservations the day of. But when we arrived somehow they no longer had our rooms. My friend that's over 6 feet had to stay in a double bed after he had specifically reserved a king-size. Rooms smelled musty. Hotel smells amazing! This hotel is clean & sanitized. Understanding COVID-19, the breakfast was a granola bar, a single serve snack mandarin oranges AND A CAPRI SUN DRINK! This place is very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome with something for every taste and diet. The fitness room is open 24/7 The pool is tiny but clean and cold. The pool area has towels, chairs and tables.

Clean, Quite, and Safe. What more do you want for a place to get out of the car on a road trip? It was everything a cheap highway stop should be. No-one stole anything from the truck, and I had a great night sleep.

This is within walking distance of a nice plaza with many different shops and some dining. It is enough distance away to be quiet and relaxing. It does not have many amenities. There is a small fitness center and a BBQ area. You can make use of another property's swimming pool and spa. There are only 16 resort units so it is fairly small; however the units in and of themselves are expansive.

Beautiful location and walking distance to the plaza, museums, restaurants! Love the condo we're in with a full kitchen, outdoor grill and firepit, wish they had a pool/hot tub on site, but they are partered with 'La Posada' so you can go use their Spa for free, but not very convenient...

Nice, quiet and close to everything in downtown Santa Fe. It’s a Queen Anne Victorian, which is unexpected in SF. The Morning Glory room lacks room darkening drapes or blinds and us very bright. The bed is comfortable, and quality of furnishings is generally good. The attached day spa has great reviews, but I haven’t tried it for myself.

Visited the day spa here. My husband surprised me with a relaxing massage and spa treatment. Wonderful two hours spent getting pampered and refreshed. I had a massage, salt scrub, and rose petal bath. My skin was so soft afterwards and remained so for about a week.

This hotel has potential. The rooms are nice and good for the rates. Biggest complaint was with the service and manager. I booked multiple rooms for a long period of time and received a voicemail with the GM thinking our booking was a mistake but would not cancel it even if it was. I am now staying at the doubletree during my business visits.

We like this place. Free night time cookies. Good breakfast bar. It is a little hard to see from the road so pay attention. A nice location that is sort out of the way of busy downtown yet on a major road into town.

Comfort Suites was an excellent choice. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff was friendly and very informative. The free breakfast contained many choices and coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available throughout the day. The location was excellent, close to many stores, gas stations, and even Starbucks!

To put things in perspective, I was travelling on business. The room was nicely done and large with a separate sofa area (hence the name, "suite"). It was everything I needed and very clean. Very pleasant stay. The room was clean, and the property was clean and elegant as well. No excessive noise in the hallways or common areas. Staff all around in every aspect was friendly and warm. The restaurant was very good as well. Would absolutely return for another stay here.

The hotel has an extensive history. The walls are covered with artwork, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious! Don't miss all of the boutiques and specialty shops, especially The French Pastry Shop.

We had our daughter's wedding there in June of 2024. David and his team are top notch. I would give them 5+++ stars if I could. The food was excellent. The hotel and location speak for themselves but without David and his team it would have just been another nice hotel. We definitely recommend having your event at the LaFonda.
