Location: in the centre of Soldeu, at an altitude of 1850 m, in 205 km from Barcelona airport, 30 m from the ski lifts.
Consists of a 6-storey building.
The hotel has 120 rooms.

24/12 Christmas eve dinner is mandatory on HB. Cost: adult - 90 Euro, child (from 6 to 12.99 years) - 45 Euro. The cost for BB on request.
New year's eve dinner 31/12 compulsory. Cost: adult - 265 euros child (6 to 12.99 years) - 133 EUR.
ATTENTION! Stays 24.12.2015-06.01.2016 (inclusive) only possible at a LC! If at least one day of this period falls within the period of stay entire stay booked on HB! This rule applies for the entire season. The whole stay must be booked either on BB or on HB, it is forbidden to reserve the parts.

The breakfast was delicious, with a very nice view, a cold sweet/savory buffet and hot dishes on the menu. A real treat!
The spa extends over 3 floors and even a small outdoor pool. It is very clean.
The price is totally justified in view of the services provided.
Shocking for a hotel this highly regarded, most rooms, perhaps all, lack air conditioning. Makes sense for their busy period of ski season, but in August was very hot in the room. The door to the balcony of our upgraded junior suite lacked any screens - we were warned by staff of the insects outside. There were no windows that opened or doors that were screened. Staff kindly brought in a large Dyson fan which was a small improvement.
We stayed in the original which does not face the slope. However it’s all so close to the gondola. Just minutes from (free/included) lockers for all your gear (not allowed in hotel).
Only issue we had was the temperature. The room was baking hot even in Feb. Radiator off made no difference. Had window open all week, no draught unless room door open. Made for quite a dry air sleep overnight. Have lots of water handy.
