Hotel Saranda Palace

This place is absolutely incredible. The people, food, and pool are all amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Hotel was nice from the outside. Very beautiful pool and beach area. The room was big enough with a small balcony but the bathroom was very old and a bit and not practical. Breakfast was moderate and the waiters were not all too friendly

The hotel is highly recommended. We visited as a couple with 2 children and we really liked it. The room was a bit too small for so much but it was just about OK. We tried the kitchen once and I have to say that it was enough for us. The breakfast was very balanced and delicious but for the last 3-4 days there was no Nutella or chocolate spread, which wasn't great for the kids. The children's pool was not clean at all. You could really see that the operators didn't care at all. There was a cable (I don't think it was connected) hanging out of the side of the pool. Very dangerous. My children also got sick but of course I can't say whether it was related to that. The beach was clean and very nice. There were enough parking spaces that were also guarded. The reception was also very friendly. Always a nice greeting and even had a compliment for my daughters. The bar was always very friendly and the prices were absolutely affordable. The promenade is 10 minutes away and absolutely fine. The location is great. Everything is close by.

The hotel was amazing, the rooms and facilties were very clean. The hotel staff were exceptional and extremely friendly and went to great lengths to help me when I forgot my belongings there. They went out of their way to keep my stuff safe and ensured they were returned to me. Best hotel I’ve stayed at.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights in May 2024 and had a generally pleasant experience. We booked a room with two double beds, which was comfortable and well-maintained. One of the standout features of our room was the terrace/balcony that offered a very nice view of the sea. Waking up to the serene ocean view each morning was truly delightful.

Breakfast at the hotel was quite basic. On the first day, the half fry and omelette were cold, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was no coffee with milk options like cappuccino, which would have been a nice addition to the breakfast offerings. While it was adequate to start the day, the breakfast could benefit from more variety and improved quality.

The hotel provides is beach towels, although they only offer them once during your stay that mean you keep it with you till you check-out.

The hotel has a swimming pool, which is quite deep. This could be a concern for those who do not know how to swim, as the depth is not clearly marked. If you’re not a strong swimmer, exercise caution when using the pool.

In terms of room amenities, the hotel provides bathrobes, slippers, an all-in-one shower gel, and a dental kit, but no body lotion. There were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a full-view mirror and limited space for luggage, making it a bit challenging to manage our belongings comfortably.

A super market located just outside. It was easy to buy water bottles and other necessities there. Additionally, we enjoyed the presence of cute tortoises.

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the promenade. While Google Maps suggested a steep road, we found it much easier to take a right turn from the hotel, which led us on a flatter and more pleasant route. This is a helpful tip for anyone looking to avoid a strenuous walk.

Overall, our stay as a couple was enjoyable, with the beautiful sea view and comfortable accommodations being the highlights. There are areas for improvement but I would still recommend this hotel for its scenic view from the room.

A very good hotel but with potential improvements to achieve an excellent choice. Excellent cleanliness and kindness of the staff, good bar service, excellent coffee and very good cocktails at a reasonable cost. Private beach with equipped and comfortable beach. Walking to the center is easy and close to the property (800m). Breathtaking view and spectacular sunsets from the sea view room. The breakfast was good, but a little lacking on the sweet side and in a 4 star hotel you can't ask for extras for coffee or cappuccino or (put an automatic dispenser). You are still working on getting it ready and I'm sure you will solve everything. I will come back or promote it, good job.

We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Modern hotel with swimming pool, lovely friendly staff, breakfast ample and the added bonus of a small tortoise enclosure including baby ones 🥰🥰🥰 Sheets, towels and soap(!) are changed daily - housekeeping does a really good job 👍 Location wise is it’s a bit of a 20 mins walk into Saranda but there is a restaurant in the hotel and also nearby if you don’t want to venture far! Would stay again if in Sarande 😁
