I recently spent six nights at Hotel Julia in Sarandë with a friend, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The hotel is run by a lovely family who went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming throughout our visit.

Our room was spotless, cleaned daily, and had a beautiful view from the balcony—perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent every morning, very generous portions, and served in a scenic setting.

The location is ideal—close to the beach and city center, but still quiet enough to relax. Most of all, the staff were amazing. Their hospitality made our stay truly special. I highly recommend Hotel Julia and would definitely return!

The hotel is located right by the sea. The access road to the hotel is very steep, which might be challenging for inexperienced drivers if their car doesn't have a powerful engine. Fortunately, there was always a free parking spot available at the hotel. The building has an elevator. Although the booking information states that check-in starts at 1:30 PM, it actually begins at 2 PM.

The room had bunk beds for children. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The wardrobes were wobbly and not very stable, so for safety reasons, we decided not to use them. When we first pulled the curtains, both curtain rods fell down. Luckily, they didn't fall on the children. We recommend that the hotel screw the curtain rods in place to prevent future accidents.

There were no curtains or glass panels in the bathroom shower, so the entire floor gets wet when taking a shower.

I missed having a bedside lamp and a clothes drying rack. The balcony offered a beautiful view, the rooms were regularly cleaned, and fresh towels were provided. Breakfast was tasty and had a sufficient variety. The owners were friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own beach with sunbeds. It is safe to swim with small children only when the sea is calm.

There are many good restaurants around the hotel. However, walking uphill can be quite an effort for elderly people :)

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel and recommend it to other young families.

One of the best hotels I've ever been.
My room had a great view, the staf was very friendly and very professional.
It is placed in a perfect position, easy to find and near the beach.
I had a great time staying.

The location is perfect . Walking distance from the town centre . The view from the balcony is amazing . If you don’t want to travel to other beaches you can happily spend the day in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy.The staff are friendly and always happy to help .

If you are looking for a good, safe and friendly place to stay in Saranda, I recommend you Hotel Blue Bay as the best place you could ask for. Everything is very good, the staff, the rooms, the beach and the view, like a painted picture. You will really enjoy your time here!

Magnificent... I advise you

Lovely little hotel. Very good owners, the hotel is run by a whole family that helps with all issues. Our food was prepared to order and the shrimp we bought were cooked. The hotel is clean and tidy, excellent service, good location with its own beach, reasonable prices. Many thanks to the owners!!!
