Hotel Brilant Saranda in Sarande

Staff are not friendly and unaccommodating to guests. We experienced power interruption at around 17:00 that lastes for 15 minutes when the power was up but our ac was still Down. We asked the reception when it Will be fixed she promised for 30 minutes the ac Will be working again. When went out and was away for 4 hrs. When we came back ac was still not working we complained several times but she Kept on promising 15 minutes. The technician went up 2x to fix it. We already contacted our travel agent to assist us as my husband is under medical treatment he couldn’t tolerate to sleep in a room with 32c. If the travel agent didnt contact Them, they Will just let us wait til next morning and sleep in a very hot room. Another thing, the picture of room on their website is not the same neither similar to what we get. (False advertising).

Although the location of this hotel is central and the views from the street side are beautiful (sea view), do not choose this hotel if you want to sleep peacefully at night. The nightlife on the nearby promenade and other nearby hotels is lively and very noisy - you can hear it clearly even if the balcony door is closed. The staff (cleaners and those responsible for breakfast and reception) are very friendly and helpful. The same can hardly be said of the young female manager of the hotel. With her own permission, she came to our hotel room with a couple of strangers when she thought we were both away. However, my friend was sleeping in the room, so she was caught. She explanation was that she thought we were both gone. We didn't get a proper reason for visiting our room with her own permission. Of course, she apologised, but we were left wondering if the guests' belongings are safe in the hotel at all, if this is possible. In addition, the manager handled the aftermath of the situation (including room changing) very poorly. However, ten stars for the rest of the staff and the sea view
