Reviews
However, the room had some major issues. I was disappointed to find mouldy sheets, and the presence of a cockroach was unacceptable. The lack of robes in the room was also an oversight.
The breakfast spread looked elaborate, but the quality and creativity were lacking. Notably, only one made-to-order coffee was included per person, and if you wanted a second coffee, you'd have to use the self-serve machine yourself. The overall spread was extensive but felt unoriginal, with usual options like granola, fruits, and baked goods. The breakfast staff were also less friendly than the rest of the hotel.
Paid car parking and the absence of an in-house gym were notable drawbacks. The Marina Mirage area looked tired and dated.
Despite the stunning views, I felt the hotel didn't quite live up to the 5-star price tag. It felt more like a 3-star resort experience. I would still recommend staying here for the views, but guests should be aware of the potential issues and manage their expectations accordingly.
Definitely has resort feel!
I had a double ground floor room with garden veranda. Large size room, all amenities that I required. Rooms very quiet.
Included breakfast was what you would expect in Bali so pleasantly surprised. All hotel food was very good. Self serve water and ice machines on each level.
Pearls Bar was a lovely spot for a night cap. Swim up bar in hotel pool and lots of sun lounges and tables for dining at. Beach access from pool.
Hotel is a little tired looking but had everything we needed and staff very friendly and attentive.
Walking distance to Sea World, marina and near by restaurants and shops (although shopping complex appeared to be closing down?).
My only complaint was the $8 room service delivery fee and room service not available 24/7.
Would definitely stay again and recommend
Our room was big, clean, and beautifully designed, making our stay extra comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet, so much variety and everything tasted great. The only downside was that it could get very busy, and we sometimes had to queue for the buffet.
Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back!
The breakfast buffet had a nice variety, and the kids really enjoyed the rotating selection of pancakes, waffles, and French toast each morning. I particularly liked the Eggs Benedict, though I felt the buffet was overpriced for what was offered.
The beach was beautiful, but the waves were quite choppy, so we didn’t spend much time there. The pool area was gorgeous, but unfortunately, even in the Australian summer, the water was quite cold, making it uncomfortable for the kids to enjoy.
A standout feature was the parking system—they use cameras to scan your license plate, so you don’t need a key card to enter or exit the garage. It was a super convenient and hassle-free experience.
We also ordered pizza by the pool, which was pretty good, and overall, our stay was solid. A beautiful resort with great amenities, though a warmer pool and better breakfast value would make it even better!
Breakfast was nice, not a lot of hot food variety. Fruit was beautiful and fresh.
The pool amenities were good. Very nice for couples , for us as a family, we didn’t find it very child friendly. We didn’t really interact with any staff, apart from Danny from room service on 2.2.24, he was very friendly and nice. Also the lady at check out on 3.2.24 was great, didn’t catch her name though.
The surrounding gardens and outdoor spaces were beautiful and well kept.
Overall, we probably wouldn’t chose to stay here again only due to the dusty rooms and my child’s asthma condition.
