Mantra Melbourne Airport
Melbourne, 2 Trade Park Drive 🧭 Map
Great service, comfy stay, awesome breakfast and good coffee. What more could you want? It was so easy for us arriving in at the airport and arranging our shuttle back to the hotel
Free shuttle to airport. Breakfast was fantastic.
Dinner was also great. One of the best risottos I have had in my life!!!
The bathroom was fabulous with a shower and spa bath. There needs to be a soap dispenser at the spa bath as well as those across the room at the hand basin or shower. The breakfast was very good with ample options
Food was pretty great too! Best are the staff though
Virgin put me here after cancelling my flight, and it was exactly what I needed after such a stressful experience. No issues with walking in at 1am, getting checked into my room, and then leaving on the shuttle at 6:30am
Will definitely be returning when in need of accommodation in Melbourne again

Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands
Melbourne, 443 Docklands Drive 🧭 Map
Room and facilities were lovely, the pool was the best, an amazing pool
Suites are perfectly sized for a short-mid stay. Bathroom is a good size. Great beds & pillows. Not many restaurants in the area but the free tram zone makes it easy to get around.
Amazing hotel right across the waterfront. Evening walks are beautiful here. There are some nice pubs and bars. There is a nice Thai restaurant, Miss Ping’s
Supermarkets like Woolworths, Costco etc is in very close proximity. And the Tram stop D11 is right outside the hotel. Overall perfect location for business and family travellers
Fabulous location at edge of reconstructed Docklands. We used the free tram to get around town, so easy the stop is about 200 m from hotel entrance. Rooms pleasant with big rainfall shower in bathroom
Scored a great deal using Marriott Bonvoy points. Free trams are half a block from the hotel and you can get anywhere in central Melbourne without a car or ride share

PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport
Melbourne, Arrival Drive 🧭 Map
Excellent location with easy access to airport, room for improvement for room service (call reception for some forks and spoons but no one come).
Good hotel to stay if you have an early flight the next day and next to the airport. But there’s some stains on the table.
Very good , big room , big TV, comfortable bed , good view from the room
Excellent, stay again
So convenient
Good airport hotel located on opposite side of the different terminal.3asy access by walking. Friendly staff, to recommend
The Service at the Reception and Caferia is fair. The location is the best as just 10 minutes walking distance to T2.

Used the swimming pool even in winter. Not too cold and was enjoyable
We stayed for 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Southern Cross Station, trams, shops, and great cafes
Clean, comfy bed with modern bathroom however the floor quite slippery when wet it needs bathroom rail it's risky & dangerous to fall which is safety & health issues I hope the management will look into this matter
The only downside was cleanliness—unfortunately, we found someone’s hairbrush under the bed and a dirty spoon&saucer with dried coffee in the kitchenette cupboard
We felt safe too as police station was just opposite from the hotel. The room was quite spacious for two people, and we appreciated the convenience of the area
The room was quiet we slept well at night, was hard to take a nap in the afternoon as the room was quite bright eventhough we had the blinds down

Pullman Melbourne City Centre
Melbourne, 265 Little Bourke Street 🧭 Map
The room was great and the lounge was excellent. Staff was generally very friendly. The lobby entrance isn't so welcoming and not all lifts were working at the beginning of the stay
Room was high quality and modern, with a lot of nice amenities. Breakfast on Level 14 was amazing - with a mimosa and bloody mary bar! Highly recommended
It's the perfect location for exploring the city
Very well located for seeing and doing everything in Melbourne. The room we had was clean and well furnished. The TVs large and easy to plug in my chomecast (which is annoyingly often an issue!)
Sound proofing could be improved to reduce street noise, but if you book a hotel in the centre of a city noise is to be expected so I can't mark it down for this
We had a problem with our room key a couple of times, but the staff on the reception desk were friendly and sorted it out quickly

Breakfast at the hotel had a good selection
The reception staff were very nice and helpful. Fire alarm went off one night at 8. We had to walk down fire escape 15 flights. False alarm due to apartments next door, part of the same hotel
Excellent breakfast. Chef cook with passion. Food comes in small portions and frequently top up.
Location is excellent. Very close to Chinatown
There was no toilet brush, an important issue for any good hotel I would think. At front entrance, Lonsdale St, there were only steps, no ramp
The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed
Really nice place, good location with easy access to public transport. Buffet breakfast available and on-site restaurant with bar. Friendly and helpful staff.

Clean room, clean bathroom. Size good for an overnight stay.
A little complaint about your blanket,I want to say a little about the blanket in the hotel should be changed to a thicker one, I feel uncomfortable when wearing the blanket, it makes my body feel itchy and there is a little dust on the blanket, and I have to open the blanket, for me everything else is very okay except the blanket, thank you, I hope you can fix it and change the type of your blanket...
Fast booking in as we arrived at 1 in the morning reception asked if we would like late check out for free
The staff on-site were helpful and the room was good. Albeit a view of a brick wall
- Laundry was great
- On-site food was great
- Beverages were on point
Very Handy hotel right near Southern Cross station.
Always stay there when passing through Melbourne.

There is great food around the corner and if you’re visiting the area, you should try every single coffee shop nearby. They truly are each unique and wonderful. The water pressure from the shower is great
Great location, exceptionally clean, big rooms, comfy bed & pillows and all at a reasonable price. Stay here for work trips even though its 30 mins+ to the office
Lots of great restaurants & bars within walking distance & all the staff are friendly & welcoming. Highly recommended & will be back again in a few weeks
We stayed in a room with two queen beds and it has these marvelous curtains that separate the room and give you great privacy
We had some trouble finding great pillows, but everyone is different
We stayed three nights and it was a comfortable stay. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Having stayed here just over 4yrs ago, we were excited to come back

Overall the experience at the Mercure Albert park was good. Pros - good location to trams, Albert Park and St Kilda and from the city. Beds were soft with clean sheets, tea & coffee facilities were good
It’s an excellent hotel in general, beautiful lake view, close to city and tram, quiet environment. To be honest, it gives an old vibe considering the year while it’s price worthy
Nice location, staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel room is basic nothing too extraordinary. Good stay for a night.
It was good accomodation but not enough it has to be improve by next visit and have to fulfilled minimum requirements of hotel service.
Good trip, good location and we are really enjoying, good for couple
Cons - Staff could have been a bit more friendlier, the shower goes hot and cold, we had room 2203 and there was noises in the vent as you walk in the door, pillows were hard and I had you only get 2 pillows for one bed, I had to ring housekeeping for another 2 pillows

Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport by IHG
Melbourne, Melbourne Airport (MEL), 10-14 Centre Rd 🧭 Map
The night of check-in, the desk agent informed us that on site breakfast would be available and signs in the elevator advertised breakfast with no mention of a fee
Couldn’t be happier with our stay before our flight. Location, amenities, the bed even were all excellent. Any time I need to fly out of Melbourne I will always stay here
Perfect locaton, lovely dining area with great food. Room was clean and comfy with everythig you need. Free shuttle to airport which is less than 3min drive away
A good choice,
Staff are welcoming and friendly, rooms are clean and tidy - bathroom is dated - however they are clean and good. Great beds and love how you provide both "Soft" and "Firm" Pillow - monogramed - love it
I got there 1 hour early but was given a room right away. Angie on the front desk was super friendly and accommodating
At AUD$234/night is was expensive but seeing that i had a 10am flight it was worth the low stress transition

The hotel is really average but at in an excellent location. The reception staff are all very friendly. They could do better in terms of the cleanliness of the hotel especially the carpets and the lifts
Very good location, it's just next to train station and tram station. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Location: The hotel's location is excellent, right near the city center train station, and the free city tram passes right by the front door, making it very convenient to get to the main attractions
Rooms were extremely dusty but we made do. Otherwise in terms of location is excellent!
Facilities: The hotel rooms are small, and the facilities are very basic, with only some essential amenities, showing their age a bit. Hygiene: The cleanliness was well-maintained
Super convenient. Easy to access,
But dies not qualifies as 4 stars hotel...

Pool was good although in desperate need of a spruce up and upgrade
Wonderful staff went above and beyond, the food was absolutely delicious and the rooms were presented lovely with a very comfortable bed
Followed covid precautions very well and had excellent strategies to work around the requirements for restrictions although still ensuring we had an enjoyable stay. Awesome views from our room and hallways with windows
I head there once a month for a professional event. Good parking, function rooms are big and chairs are comfortable. The bar staff are friendly, and the food is ok.
Family of 5, clean interconnecting rooms, 2 bathrooms, free parking,$250 great value, good service, quiet room, no traffic noise, not the newest rooms but would stay here again as value was fantastic.
They do serve excellent food. Nice and close to Albert Park.

Flagstaff Gardens Hotel Melbourne
Melbourne, 380 William Street 🧭 Map
The location is superb good! Walking distance to queen Victoria market! But the room sockets are quite far from the bed
It's my favourite out of the 3 and I would stay here again, though this is a pure hotel so there's no kitchen for those who need to know, unlike the Pegasus and the Jazz
Unfortunately, the staff was not helpful and insisted on checking our booking which took 5 minutes or more. By that time, I just drove the car round a block to await further instructions on the parking
Room was sufficiently large and clean. My main gripe is (if you are driving a rental car) that there is no dedicated drop off point for you to unload your luggage and check in
Close to station and tram stop and also night market. Agent said kids half price breakfast but hotel said different version, little disappoint with the messy information.
Unfamiliar with the traffic rules, I asked a family member to check with the staff how long I could stop my car along the road

The only downside was the mattress, it was very soft, which is not really good for the people who gets back pain, and there was no slippers for the shower or to use around the room
The bed was super comfortable and it has to be one of the only hotels I’ve stayed in that actually descaled their kettles ( huge bonus for someone who is grossed out by hotel kettle stories)
We enjoyed the pool in the early hours of the morning before check out
Convenient location in Southbank, close to the CBD and right next to a supermarket. The hotel had everything I needed: kitchen, gym, and pool. Good view with a balony
Smart TV not working, main bedroom window did not close properly, beds not made, rubbish not cleared and oven light broken. We did stay during the busiest Christmas week so the staffs were trying their best
We tried to get towels to go down to the pool about 8:30 and told that they were closing it even though the hotel information states 10pm (apparently they needed to update that)
It was in close proximity to many Melbourne landmarks, restaurants and activities
However, this time I had an issue with the washing machine; the drying function often didn't work properly. The gym is also quite small and has basic equipment

Amazing building and friendly, helpful staff. Very good value. My room was massive but faced inward so only had a window out to an internal atrium. The bathrooms are very cool, but not hugely functional.
Such a beautiful hotel and fabulous location! What's not to like? Shops, transport, food, everything in the close vicinity of the hotel. Very cosy hotel as well!
During my stayed on 9 Jul 2025 to 12 Jul 2025, I am very happy and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Will stay this hotel again if come to Melbourne. Hope can get good prices for the next visit
Service by the staff could be improved too. Btw, maybe staying at downtown Melbourne may not be a good choice. The hotel is not far away from police headquarters
Perfect location for train travelling, the hotel just apposite the southern Cross station, and the free tram ride just outside the hotel. There is no shower screen in the bath room so it is wet after showering
The shampoo bottle is locked to restrict usage so very difficult to press the bottle

The walls are thin, we could hear the cleaners going through the rooms around us in the mornings, it sounds like they're running into everything at full speed
EDIT: the response and good customer service received bumped this up to 3 stars
The Mecure was just wonderful. Friendly staff, good clwan facilities, good food and great location to explore Melbourne.
For this purpose the hotel is the closest available and just a couple of minutes walk away from my destination which was fantastic!
I had a late check in of 8pm due to travel delays however could not access my room until 8:50pm as the cleaning was not yet completed
The friendliness of the staff made this no problem as they provided 2 x complimentary drink coupons for the bar and a free room upgrade to a Garden view balcony suite, so this slight delay ended up being no problems at all
Fantastic value and much better than other hotels nearby that I have stayed at and paid higher rates for. I would recommend this hotel and will return for business purposes in the future
Great location near transport but nice and quiet. Rooms have great blockout blinds so rooms are really dark for a great sleep. Mattress is very firm but still comfortable

Good stay, good location, nice hotel staff. Tram is just walking distance.
We have stayed here a number of times and found our latest stay this weekend the absolute best yet! This stay from booking, arriving and checking out was 10/10
Good location, well priced and enjoyable stay
2 slight downsides were that the bathroom was a little dark and the exhaust fan not very powerful, and there was no baking tray for the oven, but other than that the building and room were well looked after and in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful
It was very nice and clean, super flexible with checking in time for my partner who flew from state and quiet. I would recommend it and rebook again for future trips.
Friendly and accommodating front desk staffs. The room is clean and spacious, with adequate amenities. The bed is comfortable and provided the requested extra pillows, thank you 😊

There was also no water, but you could buy some from reception or the 7/11 down the street. Shower was good, hot water and good pressure. I had an issue the first night, but quickly fixed
Near to the train station and the room is clean and the price is good.
Conveniently close (as in walking distance) to Southern Cross station and Sky Bus terminal for airport transfers. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
Had to go back down and ask about laundry and WiFi facilities as there was no info in the room only a list of an outdated mini bar menu as the was both mini bar in the room
The location is very central, close to the Southern Cross Station. The rooms were okay, but had no safe. You need to rent one on the first level near the luggage storage
Very poor lighting in the room and the bedside ones kept flashing. Very small room not enough desk space. For some weird reason had a facecloth instead of a handtowell

The beds are comfortable commercial Sealy pillowtops which are excellent if you need support. Sure, its not high end but its decent and close to plenty of great locations
We stayed at Mantra couple weeks ago. We enjoyed our stay at Mantra. The room was well presented but not very clean(dusty bed side lump and water marks on the shower screen). Good enough for how much we paid
It was nice to have 2 bathrooms in our 2 bed room but would've been good to have a tv in one of the bedrooms for the kids as well
The buffet breakfast had all the hot and cold choices you would expect and the quality was excellent
Nice enough. Good location. Lighting problems in whole apartment though. Not as clean as could be. Staff friendly and responsive.
The Chinese manager (sorry I forgot her name) helped us with our luggages even we never ask for help. She come to room help us with the wash machine. She greet us on the street after work
