The staff were very hospitable especially when I arrived and found out my extra night is organised hadn’t been applied. Location was perfect and would definitely be happy to stay again.

This was our first stay at the Bayswater Lodge! and we loved it! Great location with shops, buses and trains at the door. Compact, modern room, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, everything was excellent. We especially loved the discounted car parking deal - parking in Sydney is a nightmare!! This was cheaper and better than our usual Sydney hotel - we'll be back to see you soon! xx

I stayed here in December 2022. I had a good pleasant stay. I'll rate it as 4 star hotel and I got value for all my money. Room was very clean and Wifi was brilliant. Also had a bar fridge and kettle. Staff were very friendly and allowed me to leave my bag after check out until 6 PM
Air Con worked brilliantly. Location was 10/10 for me. 2 minutes walk to King Cross station. Supermarket, Restaurants, Bars all close by. I loved it. As a solo female I felt very safe even at night. Yes its in street with club/bars and there is sometimes noise from venues but its King Cross and I booked knowing all that info, I was not phased
I chose the cheapest room. I already knew it would be small as it says so on their website so it was not a negative aspect for me, I was perfectly fine with it. People need to remember that the Hotel charges rates that are in line with its 3-4 star rating, they are very fair. I couldnt have afforded my Sydney trip if I had to pay more, I'm glad this hotel was reasonable for me.

We stayed for a week in The Bayswater in Nov 2022 had the worst experience ever. Receptionist was not around when we arrived and left keys in some safe box, it feels like sneaking at your own house like a thief. In 6 days only once, cleaning was done. We were clearing up the garbage bin the whole time (Bought garbage box). No water, no food at night. You are on your own in unknown country in a hotel with 4-star rating. Last day we were literally, kicked out of the room with no extra hour, Room was mess, and we were travelling with 4 years child, couldn't pack fast after a long day of walks and struggling to find thing late night, Receptionist was rude and arguing as if it was our faults. We would never recommend staying in the Bayswater. I literally cried and disparately wanted to go back Dubai.

Bad experience. Got a room on ground floor (be careful!) where I could basically hear everything happening in the lobby and reception. Reception staff provides pretty bad service. They don't act friendly on hello and later handled complaint badly. They have no understanding of hospitality and customer service. Look at the way they respond to negative reviews here on Google, they fight with the guest rather than use empathy and good customer service. You don't see this from 5 star hotels hence why this will never be a 5 star hotel. Felt like a hostel, except at least with hostels you will get access to reception 24/7 meanwhile these guys leave the whole building unattended with no support, reception or security from the afternoon till the next morning.
Had a cockroach in my room as well, and zero ventilation in the bathrooms. Will never be back.

Was a very comfortable hotel with a big cosy bed. The ensuite was a tad small but also very modern and all very clean! Great location with shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There is a taxi rank right out the front of you need to travel further. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly come back again.

Small, no frills hotel room located in the heart of Sydney. It's easy to walk to all of the tourist destinations (Opera House, Harbour, Circular Quay) and there's the Kings Cross station right across the street from the hotel. The room we had (middle of the floor, 4th floor) was quiet for being in the middle of the city. Comfortable bed, very small bathroom, but reasonable rates!

The rooms are beginning to show their age, closet doors wouldn't shut, bathroom door wouldn't slide, the shower door is poorly designed and can't be opened with the floor mat down. For some reason we had a two beds room for a king room, a lounge instead would of of been nice. Comparable price to hotels in darling harbour that were of better quality.

Perfect place to stay for an inner city getaway. Rooms were clean and serviced every day. Great night life only meters away! The staff were friendly and honestly have not a bad thing to say about the place.

Nice room. Very comfortable beds. Great location central to public transport and bars and restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store (Coles) within walking distance. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom was very small. About 5 stairs to get into the hotel but then there’s an elevator up to the floors. Great little area with 2 computers and printer and kitchen with microwave in the lobby.

Absolutely fantastic location, price is fair. Room decor is very chic though very dark with no natural sunlight in our room. Bathroom was great, modern and new feeling but lacked any space to put items so in the sink was the only real option. Air conditioning is perfect though room had a stale smell and needs to be aired out more. Unfortunately noise from the hallway as being ground level was distracting. Overall a great hotel, though a few improvements could make it fantastic.
