Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney

Our flight was cancelled and we needed accomodation for the evening.
All of the staff here are incredibly friendly and accomodating. I am so grateful for all of their help.
Clean rooms, great view from the balcony.

well deserved 5 stars, everything you need in a hotel, great rooms, amazing service and perfect location. 24hr reception is extremely handy also, Chris at reception is always extremely helpful.
no complaints about rooms or location. bathroom is extremely well furbished too.

Check in was easy. The room was a decent size and clean. Easy walk to Central station.

It was listed as having a balcony but it was more of a glorified window as you could not stand on it (occupied with AC units). Unfortunately because of said balcony, I assume someone previously had been smoking on it as the room did stink of cigarettes a bit.

The TV didn't function. It was slow and could not boot up netflix, youtube or channels properly. It would take minutes and would stutter a lot.

The sound proofing wasn't amazing as someone across the hall from us had their TV blasting and was talking loudly, could be easily heard. The hotel seemed to have been hosting a music event in the morning, so the sound of drums and tuning was going on from about 0830am.

Overall, fine for a place to sleep.

Our stay at the Metro Aspire was lovely. The rooms were clean and convenient.
Its location is perfectly balanced between a very central point and a quiet street making our nights there very relaxing. The only negative point I could mention is the roughness of the towels, possibly reaching the end of their service.

Stayed for my birthday in the city. Staff are helpful and friendly, only few that don't know what they talk about and we had to go through website to get parking instead of at the counter which was totally different price. In the morning some guests was talking too loud and we were woken up by them. House keeping lady was polite and done her job very well. Great location to stay, close to Broadway and Haymarket.

Great hotel, a little out of the craziness of central Sydney which is great. Short walk many great things in town. Friendly staff, clean, breakfast was good :)
Only issue is that if you are relying on the fold out bed as a place to sleep, then consider alternative. It was the hardest thing I have slept on other than a floor. We told the person on the desk who said they knew and didn’t offer further assistance.

Great location in a quiet tree lined street, room also had a nice balcony to pick up the afternoon breeze. Staff were very helpful and the car park is conveniently located directly under the hotel. Rooms were comfortable, roomy, clean and well appointed with all the essentials for a 3-4 star hotel.
