Casa di Fiore SPA and Medical Hotel, Mineral Pools & Private Beach

Very nice hotel situated in a very good location. Food is very good, so is the beautiful garden, pool and spa areas and the beach.
Now, the bad part: service is very, very, very bad. The overall attitude of the staff was defiant, to aggressive. We had to change the room because in our current room there was a very bad smell that kept us up all night. I do not know what the source was, probably a result of poor ventilation or the fact that they allow pets in the hotel rooms (it was a wet dog smell). The hotel desk was oblivious, their initial response was "no, it does not smell, it is only in your imagination", then they acknowledged there was a problem and sent someone to "clean" the room. The cleaning lady told us she knew the room had a problem, but could do nothing to address the issue other than spraying some perfume. Even so, the front desk kept delaying a room change. At one point they even asked us if we want to leave. After a day of discussions with the front desk and the manager, they finally agreed to change our room. Not the level of service you would expect from a 5-star hotel.

Room cleaning excellent. The downsides were full plates of food being cleared away when we had quickly popped back to the buffet and before we had even started to eat! What a waste! This happened twice. Also my partner was charged for accidentally dropping a glass. It would be nice if there was an adult only area or adult only time of day for the spa and restaurant/bar. Otherwise it was excellent.

This is a very good hotel offering you comfortable rooms, variety of food, perfect service, different pools with mineral water, spa, nice garden, beach, activities for kids, bars, etc. Recommendations - housekeeping is on a very high level, however the housekeeping carts were noisy and were disturbing during nap time for our kids. The bathroom is very spacious but with limited options for hanging towels. For four people we had a number of towels which we used, including bath robes and had to leave them on the chair or on the bed.

This might sound like the most random review, but this hotel smells amazing! The garden has a lavender alley which has a spectacular aroma drifting around the pool areas. The inside of the hotel and the rooms smell cotton-y and fresh 😄. Other than that the hotel is really cozy and comfortable. Delicious food and friendly staff. Would like to visit again!

We are for the second time in this wonderful location. Each time we were pleasantly surprised. Everything is perfect! Spacious and very clean rooms, varied and very tasty food, beautifully landscaped beach, well-maintained swimming pools, very kind staff. There is nothing to disappoint you.

Amazing experience and services.
The hotel is situated in a perfect spot, with a perfect view to Black Sea and a clean beach.
The food is varied and delicious and drinks well made.
Spa area has many facilities, saunas and mineral water pools.
Everything is superlative.

Overall I'm quite happy with our stay here and would consider coming back probably in the winter.

😡 There are plenty of parking spaces but half of them are on a lot that looks more like a beach than a place to park your car. When you leave it looks like you've been driving through the desert.
😡 The weekends seem busier and one can sometimes feel culturally challenged especially in the spa and around the pools.

We loved the hotel and we’ll definitely come back! I found the rooms very moderns (actually, we had two rooms which were communicating - which can be very useful when traveling with grandparents). The swimming are big and very well heated and there is a small swimming for children ; it’s too bad they close at 19h. The spa is great and definitely try their massages. The food is also very good and fresh, the breakfast and the dinner have a big variation. The private beach is very convenient as well.

Spent a relaxing long weekend. Maybe we got lucky as the forecast for Saturday was rain and it was only cloudy, but the hotel did not seem full, so we could enjoy the pools and saunas all day long without being crowded. The food was very tasty with plenty of choice and the staff could explain about any ingredients (for the vegans or lactose-intolerant etc.). It is a brand new hotel, the rooms and amenities were impeccable and I hope they stay like that as we would like to come back. It is right on the beach front, past some beach volley courts, with its own private beach chairs which were free of charge for hotel guests. The sea and sand were excellent. There is not much to do or see around the hotel itself, Kranovo is a simple village and several of its local businesses were closed.

Room tips: We stayed in doubles facing the courtyard pools and we got a nice side view of the sea as well. Rooms on the other sides can be either with a sea view (and sunrise) or at the back, away from the sea, fully towards the parking lot. There are a couple of 2-bedroom apartments on each floor, at the end towards the sea front (so you get the full sunrise). Some 4 or 5 doubles on the first floor have very long terraces (on top of the inner pools), but they will be in the shade in the afternoon.

Occasionally there are pool side concerts (there was one last Friday and another advertised for Saturday the following weekend) which could be noisy if you go to sleep early or if you are worried for small kids, but survivable and it did not last long (10pm after dinner and it lasted for an hour or more, for sure it ended before midnight).

Overall a very nice stay, we are recommending it to our friends and hope to come back this summer and maybe even in the colder seasons.
