My 6th time at this hotel it's rasy, friendly and clean. You get what you pay for. Expecting a 5 star hotel then find somewhere where you pay 5 star prices.

It's not a 4 star hotel persay, but still a very good experience, and it's literally right next to the beach!

Algara is a very cozy, family friendly resort. It's the third year that we comeback for the view, personal and atmosphere. We really recommend it.

The resort offers plenty of ok services, amenities and activities but doesn't really excel at anything. The only exceptions to this are the entertainment team(s) and the evening shows which are pretty great. Nice smiling staff. Renovated, clean and spacious room as well as the stylish bathroom. Wifi works with login/password. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the room, which also has some kitchen facilities and a pretty balcony. Restaurants in something 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

I stayed at the villa, bad choice. They need hard cleaning and remodeling. But everything else was amazing. The food is great, the beach is great, the Aquapark is amazing for children especially. Once again, I am ending my one-month stay at the Sandy Beach Hotel in Albena resort. Again, I am very satisfied with my entire stay, and I would like to pay special attention to the management and especially for the responsiveness and attention the hotel manager Kamen Dechev gives to each visitor. Clean beach and water, great food, exceptional services. The parking place was far from the hotel, so make sure you take everything you need from it. The pool was very much liked by the big kids, but the one for small kids is small and deep for them. We all had fun, adults, kids, babies.

Surely one of the best hotel you can find while on vacation in Bulgaria. Everything was perfect, from personnel to the food/drinks and the sea/beach. Maybe there are very very few people that are complaining but that’s just cap. 100% recommend it.

Such a great location, good food, great service. But maybe the worst rooms I've ever seen. Old, decrepit, with spider webs, cracks, ants... The photos you see on websites and booking are of the best rooms, but out of 5 rooms that my group had, all of them had either these issues, or bad sewer smell. This hotel is large and in a great position, being so close to the beach and having a great view of the sea. However, that's as far as it goes. We booked half board and granted there was plenty of food to eat, but the same fare was offered each day. My overall experience is ok, but since they promise access to an aqua park, I don’t expect it to be closed and out of service. In case access to the aqua park is a deal breaker for you, make sure to personally contact them and ask for details/availability. Rooms with pool view are the best. Don t book a room with “balcony” without pool view. First room was with a empty space (a weird one)

A very beautiful hotel in the Golden Sands area of Varna, with friendly and hospitable staff. The food is excellent and fresh, especially the kebabs served every night by a kind chef.

Great hotel good food great staff

All inclusive, very well located and luxurious hotel. Very clean pools, good service and right next to the beach and beach promenade. Nice facilities and activities for young children. Buffet offers many choices. We did not try a la carte restaurants yet - there are 2: Italian and Asian. Price very reasonable for what is offered. Highly recommended.

Nice place with lots of apartments and pool.

The staff was great, they were real professionals. Food was good, drinks were great. Unfortunately the sauna was not working. The "gym"/fitness had 4 equipments and half of them were broken.

This is a max 1.5 stars resort. We were booked for 2 weeks ; we escaped after 3 days. We spent the first day cleaning the apartment. Things were not working (dishwasher broken, no internet; shower did not have the doors anymore and was replaced with dirty curtains 10 inches too long....) Everything was old and dirty. There was a 32 inch tv that did not work right. The worst was the unreliable water...

There is also an apartment part of the resort where there is no hotel service and you are entirely on your own. Which can be perfect if that's what you want.

We have a property in this place it's located in a very quiet place on a hill. The only downside is that it is far from other attractions in varna.
