Where to stay in Sandanski

It's a nice and comfortable place, friendly staff and clean facilities. Even in the late winter (end February), there were two functional pools with mineral water. Dinner on menu to choose from was excellent, they have a good cook. Not impressed with the block tables.

Personnel is polite and friendly, the view from the pool is great, but there are so many things that could be improved. Single beds are relatively small, the baths are clean-ish, all the facilities need better maintenance, part of the SPA does not work, the breakfast menu needs more options.

We experienced the 4 stars part of the hotel, as there is a 3star as well. The 4 stars equals to 3 stars and the 3 one = 2 stars. Poor breakfast but good quality food. Rooms need maintenance. We loved the hotel restaurant. Gourmet food, nice atmosphere (tables front the park), quiet and centrally located. Classy. The 2 rooms we booked for our group were in different buildings, but the host solved the problem, offering us rooms in the same building. (Thank you!) The check-in process was done in the street, but the host was very nice and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The rooms are ok, clean, with rather cheap but decent-looking finishings. Very friendly, professional service. Super location, clean, nice silence room, only I had a little problem with the air-conditioning in the room the last day, but the staff did everything in their hands to resolve the issue, including giving me another room. I'm sure that this hotel was amazing when it first opened the doors for customers. The design and the facilities are great but they seem that they're not well maintained. Even so, it's still a good deal. We stayed for one night on our way back to Romania, we slept well and had a good breakfast! So yes, don't hesitate to stay here!

Best place to stay in the region, location in the centre of the city and at the entrance of the park at the same time. Spaces are big and the spa center has real size.

Quiet location, the swimming pool was very refreshing after our 7 hours drive. The rooms where spacious. It was a very easy drive to Sadanski with it's beautiful pedestrian street. Nice accommodation for family with a playground and outside resting areas.

Great hotel with a great location and panoramic views of the city. Everything is clean and well maintained. The hosts are very kind and always online. Breakfast is homemade and delicious. It is possible to buy wine, homemade jam, etc. .. all things that are their own production. There is also an underground parking lot, which is a big plus for a city like Melnik.

We had an excellent three day stay at this hotel. The extra care and attention to detail was noticed and appreciated by us. Not only was our dog allowed to stay, but she was sincerely welcomed. The place was warm and clean and the location and views were unbeatable.

Here's preserved the classic atmosphere of the old town. If you are about to stay in Melnik for a weekend , I'd recommend this place. Rooms are clean and warm.The saff is very polite and in favor of the customer. Loved the breakfast! Those mekitsas are a must try! Ask for the wine list as well. One drawback is the rooftop rooms don't get much sunlight during the day.

From the hotel you can walk to a button lift, then come down the right side of that run to get to the umbrella bar and chair lift, which takes you to the midway gondola station to get to the top :) saves a load of times to get to the slopes each morning as you don't have to queue for an hour or 2 at the bottom gondala station! Great hotel for our first family skiing holiday. We stayed half board and in the 2 bedroom apartment. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The food was wonderful- but if you have fussy eaters you may struggle as there’s no chips and chicken nugget type options. The spa was brilliant and a welcome treat after a day of skiing. This was an Amazing Holiday in Bansko especially in this Hotel. It was an Excellent stay. Great Staff in which I also have to mention: Georgi, Mitko, Toni. They were really nice and Professional. It seems to lack maintenance and needs some renovation. The Hotel is really at the edge of the village.The walking path from the main road to the hotel at the top is not very safe especially at nighttime. So if one wishes to move around more in the village better choose one of the hotels there, which are pretty much in the same category. Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children. The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog.

I stayed in an apartment in this facility and it was spacious and well equipped although a few tea bags and coffee sticks would have been a nice touch. Stayed as part of a Balkan Holiday ski package. Location is good. If you need to walk to the gondola this takes around 8 minutes. The rooms are very nice and they are in Bansko’s style. In some of the rooms there is a fireplace. The big room for 6 people is awesome, especially if it is a maisonette. All rooms have terrace.

The hotel is exactly as advertised. The rooms as spacious and the location is great, only 5 minutes from the gondola. The only drawback for us was the breakfast. The dishes are fixed and you can't eat all you want as it happens in other hotels. Apart from that my stay was very pleasant.

Large apartments with all you might need inside. The aparthotel is very close to the cabin lift and slope #1 so basically you can ski to your room. Spa was great, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi worked fine only the Turkish bath was off. They also worked out all our requests. Great for the price.

The most wonderfull holiday we have had in Bansko till now. The kids were pretty happy with they play room, or at least we were. The wife was extremly satisfied with the spa , a trully 5 star services. The rooms need to be upgraded a bit to achieve the level of the lobby and the spa. Good deal for half term ski. Location a little out of town- but walkable for evenings (head into old town for more local cuisine & to escape the tourist *****). We've had a great stay so far. Staff are all so friendly and willing to help despite the reviews saying otherwise! They upgraded us to a nice balcony room with an amazing view. Overall experience was good as a budget option. Cleanness wasn't the strong point of that room, as it wasn't very well cleaned. We had to have the bedlinens changed on check-in since they had stains and hair on them. Staff was very helpful and helped with everything.

Overall a nice place. Rooms are large, beds are very comfortable. The pool is very nice and the water is warm enough to swim with kids. Didn’t like the attitude of the staff at the restaurant which was the reason for us to look for other places to eat during our stay.

I loved this hotel. We stayed in March in a deluxe 2 bedroom suite which had a great view and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable too. Top level restaurant: every day for dinner new dishes, all products are good and excellent quality, all products are natural. On the third day stopped myself and did not eat extra. It was hard to stop myself. Nice hotel with its own underground parking, spa and sky rental.

The location and the Food are the only good things about this hotel. If you only interested in the minimum place to sleep and have breakfast then choose this places to stay, otherwise look somewhere else! The rooms are bare minimum, we booked one room with a double bed and a second room with two single beds, we got two double beds and forced one of the members to sleep on the couch in the living room...

Let's start with negatives: Room housekeeping hit and miss, can be mega late in the afternoon by which time you're busy in the room. Dinner, unlike most other hotels you can't even get water with your dinner... Less expensive hotels give free drinks, beer and wine with your dinner and water if necessary. WiFi: awful! Only like 5mbps and constantly regularly drops outs when even just on a voice call...

This a very nice hotel at the end of the town. The hotel is remote and overlooking some fields (and sheep). It's quiet and serene. The rooms are well appointed, and the service is top. Room was comfortable but not clean. There were some food leftovers in fridge and dust on some places. However, hotel stuff were nice and professional and made up for that. There is also a beautiful steam swimming pool inside.

There are studio apartments, one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments. All are self catering. The apartments are all privately owned by individual owners. This hotel has always been and remains by far the best in Bansko - the first thing to mention is a very attentive and professional service throughout the hotel, followed by a great choice of different dining venues and a great spa with indoor and outdoor pools. All of that is complemented by amazing scenery with spectacular Pirin Mountains as a backdrop. Highly recommended any time of the year!
