Love this place. Come here often with my children. Richard is always very welcoming at check-in. He makes us feel at home. Our most recent trip we brought a couple of friends along. They loved the experience and look forward to returning with us in the near future. Keep up the good work, Hilton Markham!

Rooms are very outdated. There is no usb port, carpet and furniture seems very old. However, it is my second time staying at this hotel because it has good staff. Well, except for the lady who lied to me about hotel being fully booked thus late checkout cannot be granted. I checked online and my room type was still available. The lobby bar was a nice place to relax. The staff was helpful and friendly and we have nothing negative to say regarding our suite. Sunday brunch was spectacular with seafood , a carving station, omelet station, dessert station and all the other things one would expect. The only brunch item lacking was pancakes, waffles or French toast.

Internet speed has finally been upgraded. However, the service is deteriorating. Last time when I was there, I have to line up for 30 min to get checked in, app didn't work. You still have to wait for the front desk to get the keys. This time, the cleaning is so unprofessional. We left a glass on the table in the morning, it was still there at night when we came back. Great staff and service. Fabulous hotel fitness center. Nice spacious rooms. Quality bar and restaurant in the lobby. Very nearby the IBM lab building and convenient from the Toronto airport for quick trip in and out of town. Would recommend for anyone going to Markham.

The Room we stayed is renovated even if one area(closet I believe) is still not completed. So clean and spacious. And we already knew this building was under construction, so we only stayed in the room but we didn't hear any noise until 10 and no bad smell at all.

I stayed here for my mandatory COVID quarantine after returning back from my international trip. The room and washroom were really clean. With two queen beds and a large 65" TV it was quite comfortable for me and my family. The front desk personnel were very friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend the place.

Beautiful looking hotel lobby. Rooms need work. Couch is sagging, phone in sitting room broken. Could be cleaner. No room service at all. Pool was closed for an issue. Water pressure in shower/ bath is horrible. Parts falling near heater unit. I'm sure it must have been lovely in it's heyday but is in desperate need of some help now.

Location of Edward hotel Markham is convienently located on highway 7 and highway 404 with Vivia bus steps away. The rooms are spacious and clean but decor is little dated. I would recommend the hotel as it is good value with good service.

Great location, we were in Markham for an event at the Pan Am Centre with was super esay to get from the hotel, clean room, comfy bed, everyone is friendly and quick to help from the front desk to the people helping at the breakfast area, very nice people. Nice hotel. The rooms were clean and neat and the staff were nice. Overall an nice place to stay if you have a car. A minor complaint would be that it was difficult to get the room to a comfortable temperature. It was either too warm or too cold, but it was manageable.

Hotel was nice for the price. Parking lot has security has security patrol and felt my truck was safe. Only a 6'5" ceiling plus pipes that run lower, so my parking options were slim. Pool was on the lower level and was nice. The gym is a little lack luster. I really appreciated the housekeeping making my daughters bed with the stuffed animals. It was a nice extra touch.

Decent stay for a decent price. Location is great if you are visiting family or friends in Markham OR you want to head into Toronto itself. Staff is efficient and well mannered. The rooms are dated but clean. Parking is abundant. I wouldn't lounge around in the hotel, this is merely a clean, reasonably priced roof over your head while you stay out and enjoy Markham/Toronto.

Service at the front desk is mediocre. No wow factor. Once I entered my suite, first ambience feels okay. I noticed the carpet had some old stain spots and the computer chair looks worn out. The washroom was the only room that positively caught my eye. Overall, it's okay. In my opinion, I think that hotel needs an upgrade on everything.

This is a dated property Small style bistro bar is not ideal for breakfast and it is rather expensive for what you are receiving. They do serve alcohol. Rooms need a refresh During our stay the water was off one full day and they began elevator upgrade the next. Or ideal, or communicated when I booked.

Stayed one night and have to say that I was very impressed. Front Desk very pleasant. Hotel is very clean. Room was beautiful and great that it was recently renovated. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Richmond Hill/Markham.

All in all a nice little hotel, dated but clean. Breakfast was served hot by friendly staff. We liked the patio doors and were able to park just outside our room most days. Pool was nice but cold and the fitness room had equipment that is broken and should be repaired or removed. We would stay here again.

Certainly an older property but impeccably clean. Nice breakfast, though the breakfast hall is a odd little room. The pool facility is beautiful, but unfortunate that neither the hot tub or sauna are open. Aside from the odd carpet and poor breakfast, the Jacuzzi room was awesome for our purposes and the King bed was comfortable and luxurious. Fireplace in room was a great perc. Staff argued loudly in hallways. I saw no bedbugs - all seemed fresh.

I wanted a quiet weekend solo and I choose Monte Carlo. I requested a room that's quiet and so I got one on the 4th floor. The room had a scent that kept me up for most of the first night, but I called front desk in the 3am and the attendant took a smoke machine to the room and it really helped. I found hair in some of the drawers and that really was a pet peeve so I really didn't use the drawers....

A highly recommended place for family or business travelers . Nice hot breakfast served every morning , place is clean , during weekends maybe a bit crowded . Room is spacious with a small kitchen . For some special reasons, I have stayed here for a month, staff are really nice and friendly. Free parking but have to park far away if you come back late. A nice swimming pool and a small gym.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay here. As a matter of fact my kids didn't want to leave. Great people work here. The bed is not very comfortable for me (it's very flouncy and cloud-like ( like in the movies) and while it was great to experience, I do prefer a firmer bed. Nice place, very secure floor access as you have to use your room key to access you floor. Room could use a refresh as the wall paper in room 910 was peeling by the TV and fridge did not smell clean.
