Rooms are nice. Staff is good. Overall good service.
I love this hotel. It have mini fridge and microwave in rooms. All was clean.
Great breakfast included, good price, nice pool and hot tub, restaurant right there, clean room and bathroom. When l reported guys outside my room causing alot of noise, late at night. It was, taken care of right away. Helpful at the desk.
Free parking, free breakfast, free wifi, close to high way 401, 404 and Dvp, room charges are reasonable, swimming pool and restaurant inside. Customer service is excellent
Great hotel for a quick overnight after my flight was missed, probably wouldn't take a family vacation here. Didn't get an opportunity to try the breakfast, though it looked alright.
This place is well kept with an accommodating staff. Given itnis right in Montreal and next to the airport it os reasonably priced. The atrached restaurant is equally as accommodating with excellent wait staff. The food is good and modestly priced. All in all a great place to stay.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is not in a busy place and the environment is very quiet. In the heart of Markham. All staff were friendly, rooms were nice, cheese lacked hot water kettle. There is a small swimming pool where many families swim. The visiting-style design allows you to not only work, but also have meetings and chats with friends in the room.
The people at the hotel were generally helpful. Housekeeping needs to improve as they always keep missing something. Breakfast can have more varieties. Swimming pool was not available during my whole stay.
Write a review in Chinese to give some reference to my compatriots who came to Canada from China like me! If I go to Toronto again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. I love it! Breakfast 🈶 has a lot of hot food, and the hotel is super generous. You won't be stopped from taking a cup of coffee upstairs after breakfast. The hygiene is also very good, the room is big enough, everything is satisfactory...
The hotel is hygienic and clean. The location is 10 minutes and convenient. There are many delicious restaurants nearby and Costco is very close.
The room is large and very hygienic. There is a restaurant within a 5-minute walk, which is a very nice hotel.
friendly staff. Breakfast had good selection. Clean.

Great place. The staff was always ready to help. For just a two night stay, it was the perfect option.
Room was roomy, clean and relatively quiet. Furniture is a bit battered. Pillows were those large tube-like ones which some might find too thick. Toilets were small, low, and maybe 25 years old, judging by the enormous water tanks. The free breakfast was a cold omelette and dried out sausage patty, and bacon that shattered when you cut it. No ketchup or hot sauce for the eggs. In all, satisfactory...
First time attending a hotel, very friendly staff from reception to the cleaning staff. Always smiling. The room I stayed in was very spacious, bed was great size and felt great. Was easy to call reception from the room and ask for any help and they were quick to fix any problems. The breakfast bar was Good, nice range every morning to choose from. Although the pancake machine was what I was looking...
Nice location and breakfast. Rooms are fine and showing a bit of age, and the bathroom tile grout was dirty along with the stained tub, but overall comfortable. One little downfall was to TV cable guide shows channel listings not programming, and the suggested phone app is of no use unless you'd like to pay for show listings or $25 each to rent a movie.

My husband and myself have been coming to this hotel for years. The staff are amazing and are always helpful. Angela always makes sure we are well looked after. The hotel has always been very clean and updated often. Would always recommend this hotel highly.

It is no longer a hotel but this hotel (at least the sign and address) was used and shown in the Amazon Prime show The Boys! Season 1, episode 8. 42:50. Just saying(:
Room was fully appointed... even had an extra sofa bed. Nice man at front desk. However, its time to change those carpets and bring in some professional drywall repairmen.
Clean rooms and excellent service! Wonderful property managers!

Price of the facility is pretty good but they have to do some improvements on the accessing side, you can’t open the door if you leave the pool for washroom, etc.
Although the location is quite close to the DVP, the room was quiet. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff pleasant and professional. The room was clean and spacious and the view off the balcony was beautiful (a nice green space with autumn colours). We got back quite late (almost 1am) and the bistro/bar was just closing up. The bartender welcomed us and sold us a couple of beers to take back...
Not accessible at all, staff weren't very helpful with the exception of a few associated with room service. Two fake nails were randomly found in a drawer. Not a huge deal, but still pretty gross
Convenient location but a little pricey for rooms that are a bit dated. Pillows are insubstantial synthetic puffs, bring your own. :-) Really nice indoor pool that our son loved. Great breakfast buffet and reasonable parking rates for Toronto.
The room we were in was renovated and exceptionally tidy. The elevators were in need of repair as sometimes they wouldn't come, and other times the door wouldn't close. The service was lacking as checking in was a one minute conversation to get us in without briefing us on when checkout was. When checking out on a Sunday morning, the front desk was unattended for 10-15 minutes as people gathered and...
I stayed at the Toronto Don Valley for four nights. I was by myself and it was nice being able to go to the bar and grab some food, watch some sports and chat with the bartender, he was awesome and the food was too! (Loved the California chicken wrap). My room was clean and cozy. My room was a mix of the old and renovated to look modern. The only things that I didn't like were that there was no refrigerator...

The hotel location is good and you can reach it from the subway through the North York Centre. This is my only positive comment for this hotel.
I’ve stayed here a half dozen times for my trips to Toronto. It’s continent because it’s right on top of the subway, and a quick 15-20 minute ride to downtown. It was years ago that I’ve stayed here, but it was my go to. Rooms were nice. For the price you pay per night, the parking is highway robbery.
One of the most affordable hotel I found in the area. The service was slow when I signed in, the computers weren't working properly. The rooms are nice and spacious, a bit o the older side but clean and well taking care of. It includes a nice gym and decent size pool.
Very nice hotel, comfortable and quiet rooms, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. The standing guest room lights take some exploring to learn how to operate them, and the shower (in a lovely bathroom) could really use a safety grab bar. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful, as were the restaurant waiters (and the breakfast spread was excellent).
We stayed at the Novotel North York for an event for my son. We had 2 connecting rooms. On check in, all was very efficient, kind and well taken care of. We requested a late check out for one of the rooms, and they made it happen! We had two small issues when there, that were quickly taken care of by the staff. Everybody at the front desk and housekeeping were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel...
Hotel location is quite convenient, metro station just 3 minutes away. The worst issue is the toilet flashing system.
Bed very comfortable, very clean, quiet. As a disabled senior I was very pleased to find the safety bars installed in the shower, this feature makes my stay even more enjoyable and SAFE. The bathroom was also well stocked with necessary items, i.e. shampoo, hair drier, good towels, etc. Yes to both questions, hotel and room clean. Yes very much

The front desk staff was awesome - super helpful whenever I needed anything. I was also really happy with the housekeeping - no waiting around for rooms to be serviced, it was done every day nice and early. This hotel has everything you might need: bar, restaurant, coffee, pool, hot tub, gym, convenience store, small spa. Very nice, clean, comfortable and many amenities. Nice mall across the street
Excellent customer service! The pool is lovely and has a whirlpool and sauna. There are table tennis, tennis and other activities for fun. There's a small gym. The restaurant inside is good. The room was nice, but the curtains don't close all the way, so it was bright at night and in the morning. The location is great. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice, clean, comfortable and many amenities. Nice mall across the street. Access to the subway is at the mall as well, very convenient. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey but very very good. If we had started more than one night we would probably return. Many many options, even for Celiac people! We were stuffed by the time we left.
I loved the amenities like the pool and common areas. My only concern was that some rooms overlook the common areas and it can be very noisy which is to expected. The common areas do close at ten PM so the hotel does enforce quiet hours. The beds in the room were comfortable and staff was pleasant.
This was the nicest Holiday Inn I've been inside of. Right across Yorkdale mall, it's a great spot, indoor salt water pool adjacent to the dining area; very reminiscent to a hotel resort set-up). Would highly recommend if it fits the budget.
Used this Holiday Inn for an off-site meeting. Affordable, scalable for different groups and phenomenal staff. Location is accessible by guests as it's off the highway and across the street from a subway station. Friendly, professional and knowledge staff. Had a billing issue and staff made every effort to ensure I had all my questions answered and resolved the issue. Catering service was provided...

Our trip to toronto was awesome. We had some issues with our car and the owner Garry was very understanding. The rooms are clean and the price is perfect for a road trip! Its a small room but its perfect when you dont want to waste a lot of money
Good value overall. Good location (very near subway and within walking distance of Yonge/Bloor; spacious room, big bed (although not the firmest); WiFi fridge and cable TV provided, and No Frills grocery store 3 min walk away so cheap eats are easy as pie. Management could improve experience with a few signs indicating things like a phone number to contact them and instructions on how to use the TV

Good rooms. Couple of small niggles that, if fixed, would really improve the standard of the rooms. But the one we had was perfectly adequate for us. Probably the thing we would have liked most was a second bathroom or a bathroom in a public space that we could access as, with five of us, we were often fighting over the bathroom!! Other small things were hanging racks in the mud/store room and a second...
This was my best accommodation in Toronto ever thus far. I give them 6 out of 5 stars. For starters, location is perfect with a walking distance to the University of Toronto, countless restaurants, stores and a metro station. They offer corporate rates, so this was the cheapest reasonable place l could find within the walking distance of the University. Better still, at this price, I had a fully equipped...
I had a queen bedroom that we found then booked on Expedia. We chose to stay here to celebrate downtown for a birthday with a couple friends that also stayed in this Inn as well. Especially, when we had called them up to our...
Very convenient location. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable and spacious. They are all however IKEA specials. Nothing exceptional. Unless you have a rate though work or an event, the prices are on the higher side. All in all its comfortable, clean and convenient with good service and ideal for stays of any duration especially if you want more than just a hotel room.
Got a free upgrade to an exec suite room and it was clean, and very spacious. The staff were friendly and service was quick and very helpful when needed.
Heating system, sound proofing of rooms is none . Staff is good but hotel need enhancements / refurbishment

The only five-star hotel in Toronto!
The staff even entered the room without any request. The breakfast was good.
The overall hotel facilities were good, especially food is excellent.
A very good hotel with great service, sanitation and hardware. The price of hotels of the same level in North America is basically the same, much more expensive than that in China. Breakfast is not a buffet, it is all ordered.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was a little difficult to find, down a one way street, in the dark with rain, but if that's the hardest part of staying here...then everything is good! The room was nice, clean, and spacious. Not like a regular hotel room where you have one chair for someone to awkwardly hang out in while everyone else has to sit on the bed. I really enjoyed the style, as it gave...
Staff was very hospitable, service was great, and the amenities are top notch. I would definitely stay here again. The location was also very convenient.
I liked this hotel very much. The room was beautiful and nicely laid out, very stylish. The bathroom was comfortable, and I enjoyed having the sink and closet area across the hall from the bathroom. That was something new to me, visiting from the United States, But I liked it. I enjoyed being right in the middle of a bustling area, but the room itself was very peaceful and comfortable. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Anndore House. It had a great central location for all the attractions we wanted to visit. The rooms were spacious and clean with our only complaint being the amount of light that came through the closed blinds at night time. What really makes the Anndore House shine is its staff and hospitality. Everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. In particular...
Stunning boutique hotel, we had a warm welcome and were offered complementary water bottles during our whole stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, vintage looking with a lot of warmth. We also had drinks at the bar and were welcome by a charming and knowledgeable bartender. As for the restaurant it was tasty maybe a bit on the pricy side for the portions. Finally the little coffee house attached made...

The place is expensive, but is definitely worth it. The best part of the stay, STAFF - the most polite, friendly and helpful staff I have encountered, and I have stayed at many up market hotels / resorts. Every staff greeted my 4-year-old well, she got plenty of toys to play with. The trips arranged by the hotel were fabulous. Room always clean after house keeping visit, corridors were always...
I didn’t stay in the hotel, this review is for the restaurant only. This is the place to see beautiful wealthy people in Toronto. For straight up people watching it really can’t be beat. Service is good and the atmosphere is what you’d expect. For the best people watching my friend, a local, recommends the long side of the outdoor patio. The food, however was not worth what they charge. It wasn’t...
One of the Excellent hotels, location, luxury rooms, service, facilities in good hotel amenities. It’s the hotel itself feels quite relaxed. The staff was amazing & Friendly. Its Management is top notch be it front desk or restaurant.
Stayed one night during July 2023. Check-in process took entirely too long. Our credit card has a bad chip and we told the lady at the desk she would have to process the card with a swipe or manually entry for it to work. She still tried numerous times to make the chip work, then said she was not allowed to swipe a card nor manually enter the information so we would have to use another credit card...
I came in last night for a drink at the bar I really liked it here. There was this really pretty and kind girl working the bar and she was very good at her job. She was nice kind, accommodating, and provided good service. She knew when to let the customers at the bar do their thing and when to check on them. I also found this establishment has a very nice clientele and I will definitely come back
Easily one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in. Booked it on the recommendation of a local, and I tell you, it did not disappoint. As nice as it was, I’m not used to staying at places like this. The whole experience was a bit surreal. It’s in a very upscale neighborhood, but the hotel itself feels quite relaxed. The staff was amazing, always trying to go above and beyond. I feel bad that we didn’t...

Sonder was a great place to stay for a long weekend. It was more affordable than majority of hotels in Toronto and the check in/out process was nice and simple (all on the app). I'd say the room was more suitable for one person rather than 2 as there wasn't a lot of space but we managed. Location was good. 15min subway to downtown and plenty of good bars and restaurants just a few min walk away.
The room was small, but otherwise nice. The rooms do not have refrigerators, so upon request, the staff were nice enough to bring us a small bar fridge. Our issues were that we had no soap in the bathroom, despite requesting more, and the door to the room didn't lock. Otherwise, it was a decent experience.

Clean and quiet place in the basement with basic amenities. However your friend is not allowed to visit the property FYI, which is very different from other hotel. This is why I got confused with the name too. It’s a family owned property, who lives upstairs. The host can be helpful if you need anything.
Clean, friendly, great parking and location but a little noisy with a baby and family living on the main floor.
Great experience for classic amenities with very affordable prices. Clean and easy going hosts!
