Reviews
The room was nice, clean, and spacious. Not like a regular hotel room where you have one chair for someone to awkwardly hang out in while everyone else has to sit on the bed.
I really enjoyed the style, as it gave me a 1920's NY apartment feel. The bed was the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept on.
You're close to everything you could need, and a 20 minute walk to the Eaton Centre. There's a large parking lot directly across the street where you can park for a very reasonable rate (for Toronto).
Every member of staff I interacted with were warm and friendly, and I'll definitely be staying here again.
I was glad to have the mini fridge and the electric tea kettle, but one other thing I would’ve liked to have is a microwave oven.
What really makes the Anndore House shine is its staff and hospitality. Everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. In particular, my husband misplaced his wedding band on our first night. However, after notifying the staff we were happily surprised to get a call from them after discharge that they had found the ring while cleaning our room and would be able to ship it to us!
We had a very good experience and will surely be back to this location.
Only negative I’ve got to add is that the shower temperature is either too cold or too warm and varies even after adjusting it.
The service is really good from the housekeeping staff to front desk and restaurant. All friendly, helpful and nice.
The location is great, close to everything including public transit, there’s a parking lot right across from the street that has fair rates.
The price was great as well, 175 for what I’ve paid is well worth it for the room, location and service.
Hotel itself is trendy, stylish with its loft rooms while maintaining great standards of cleanliness and amenities.
Two things that I have complaints about that made me give 4.5 stars are
1. Air conditioning were the older style hang by the window type, they are really loud.
2. Not sure if this is just my room but the shower’s pressure was pretty bad, the handheld shower head was not usable due to how low the pressure was.
The room is spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and courteous. I will consider staying here again if I visit Toronto again.
