Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth
Montreal, 900 Rene Levesque Boulevard ouest 🧭 Map
The location of the hotel in the René- Lévesque Blvd W is quite convenient to visit ICAO HQs and downtown. Next door in Mansfield St is Mary, Queen of the world Cathedral. Rooms are OK, nothing great to be mentioned. Breakfast layout is quite impressive.
My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged...
The hotel is an old castle-like building, next to a church. There's an escalator leading to the underground central train station, and several restaurants offer 24-hour dining. I was very satisfied with everything.
A century-old hotel with beautiful architecture, an ancient castle-style building and a great platform
Perfect view and location
perfect service
Supplies perfect
Staying at this hotel for the third time. It is especially recommended for those who need to take the train, because the central station is connected to the back door of the hotel. The hotel's location is within walking distance to the old town and shopping streets. The hotel bed was very comfortable.

It was really nice and service was really good
Everything was amazing. The room was big, the bed was super comfy and there was a bathtub. One disappointment was the spa was closed - that’s one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The staff said it would be closed until the weekend.
Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Nice kitchen counter for making small snacks, sink, fridge, kettle and plates but no cooktop. Indoor pool was nice but no chairs on the outdoor balcony. Parking on the premises much too expensive at 70$/day - needed to park in a different building for less than half.
The hotel is modern and clean. Love the size of the bed. It is a prime location of downtown.
Very good, I've stayed there several times
Amazing service and clean room.
Beautiful hotel in fabulous location in Montreal! Right in the middle of the city, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the Old Montreal, etc… Super comfortable bed with soft, cooling sheets. Sparkling clean! Lovely, welcoming staff!

Hotel Le St. James Montreal
Montreal, 355, rue Saint-Jacques 🧭 Map
A beautiful hotel great service and people are friendly and helpful . We loved our stay at st.james
This is such a beautiful Hotel. We made a last minute reservation because we were accepted to Diner en Blanc in Montreal. The staff was really incredible. From the time we arrived and checked in, to the Concierge's guidance on local caterers, directions and recommendations to a liquor store and directions to the metro. It was a memorable stay and we'll definitely be back.
Very nice hotel in the heart of old Port in Montreal. Very clean and attentive service. Very nice rooms. Reasonable priced. Not extremely quiet inside the rooms . You can hear the cars from outside , especially if the exhaust is a bit loud. I was on the last floor and I could still hear the cars passing by in the middle of the night if I was awake. The bar inside the hotel is ok.
Hotel St James is one of my favorite hotels in Montreal. This hotel is pure luxury, with a beautiful restaurant and SPA. Staff at this hotel are very professional and friendly. I must say the service is impeccable. I came here 10years ago and this hotel service is always the best not to mention its location. Rooms are very charming and tastefully decorated. The hotel is a boutique style and located...
Amazing hotel - great location - the service is superb

King bed was nice and comfortable. Room on the smaller side. Customer service was lacklustre - made it feel more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star.
Reception at check in was totally robotic, the lady had no intention to service. The room was claimed to 22sq.ft but actually felt smaller, like a 18sq.ft.. The shower and tap water was terribly weak. Breakfast offers almost no choice, only continental breakfast available.
There was a constant noise, I don't know if it was the sound of the water pipe, and the hotel couldn't provide a comb. But the location is pretty good.
This is my second time staying at Hotel Monville. The hotel location is convenient and close to the train station, and the room was clean and comfortable.
good location and services. A bit hard to park the car
The room is super clean and the service attitude is also very good

Hotel is really cool and beautiful. We loved the pool. It got crowded but great vibe, great music, friendly bartenders. The restaurant was good, beds really comfortable. I saw lots of ducklings in the stream. Would definitely return!
Excellent stay. We especially enjoyed the festive vibe in the pool area. Loved the jazzy music they had playing. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great.
Room size was decent, however the layout of the hotel rooms are akin to a maze. You may have to walk quite far if your room is all the way at the back.
Location is good, which is walking distance to the main station. Service was alright, could have been more swift and efficient as well.
Amenities were great, there is a central pool with jacuzzi tubs at the side, mini sauna and a small-mid sized gym...
I recently stayed at Hotel Bonaventure Montreal, and it was a wonderful experience!
- Perfectly situated near the VIA Rail station, making it super convenient for travelers.
- Absolutely loved the pool and hot tub — a great spot to relax.
- The service was fantastic with attentive and friendly staff.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal! 🏨✨
love the pool area
lots of chairs
Did not like the shower configuring.
Taps are challenging in shower
Food good
Urban oasis, up at penthouse level with a beautiful outdoor landscape and water features in the heart of downtown Montreal. It’s located directly across from Central Train Station and metro station. Spacious, clean contemporary interior with large, comfortable beds and linen.

Absolutely loved this hotel, in a great location close to the metro, they gave me an upgraded room. Will absolutely stay here again. The front desk staff were more than helpful!
Good surroundings, room facilities are relatively old
The room is spacious, the transportation is convenient and the environment is beautiful.
Very nice place, close to the Olympic park and close to the metro

The lobby is under renovation and it's a mess. The price is very expensive. The Body Lotion in the room is not refilled after it is used up. You have to go to the front desk to get it in the middle of the night. The cost performance is very low.
Had a great three-night stay here. Service and location were perfect - within walking distance of Mount Royal and Old Montreal and right next to a metro station for easy access to other neighborhoods.
Minus one star for the poor elevator situation. Three tiny elevators that hold max 5 people (fewer with luggage) for 20+ floors, so was an endless wait going to and from room. Additionally, the entire...
Stayed three nights. Perfectly situated across from Metro and just down the street from McGill University and the Underground City.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was excellent. Standup shower was roomy with great water pressure. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The breakfast staff were friendly and very efficient. I will definitely stay here again.
Service was great. Location was great and the room was very clean.
I had a great experience at the hotel. It's really, really clean. Well maintained. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Great location. One comment, the hotel is in perfect condition, but I don't understand the chairs situation. They need to be refurbished.
What a great stay. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Always welcomed us coming back for our days adventures. Room was comfy and clean. Always cleaned before we got back. A really great stay overall. Breakfast was tasty too. The cafe staff were very welcoming at 630am.

My experience was awful. The first night a false alarm went off in the entire hotel at 4:45am. The next day we came back to our room and the room service was not done. Lastly, since the hotel was going through renovations, our last night at the hotel was horrible since the day before the AC units on our floor were turned off cause of the same renovations previously stated. In summary, an awful experience...
Great service, great experience. Room is clean, and quiet
It is another nice trip in Montreal and stay in the same hotel. Very enjoying here location, food and service.
Staff were very friendly, found everybody very pleasurable. Free drinks and breakfast are nice.
Alwaya my go to place when staying in Montreal. Love the location; easy for me to get to work. Quick access to the metro, cocktail hour is cool, great breakfast, great staff!
Really friendly staff. Great breakfast. Finding the parking was a bit tricky for someone who isn’t from the city. Could use more signs. Very close to the Metro! Super convenient location to explore Montreal. My room was massive. Took off one star because the bedding was quite thin and my room was cold even with the heat on max. Despite that the bed was very comfortable, and no bed bugs!

Great location, friendly helpful staff.
Enjoyed the Le Labo products and billiard room, aside from that there isn’t much amenities unfortunately. Spa is not free for use and queen rooms are currently looking at a construction site.
We stayed wondering what did Michelin award them a key for, but overall a pleasant experience!
I liked this great pillow in the hotel to have the best sleep.
The location is amazing. Central to multiple tourist areas within short walking distance and 2 blocks from the metro for easy connection to any other locations. Staff was courteous and accommodating without being intrusive. I would definitely stay there again.
It is up the hill from the metro station, so if you have mobility issues, you should reach out to staff to find out their accommodations.
We were greeted by friendly and proficient doormen who silmiled and greeted us warmly. The space is welcoming with lots of space to sit and relax. A pool table aside for the lobby makes a fun place to meet with friends before you head out on the town. Our room was spacious and romantic with brick features and a comfortable bed. Would have liked a bit more water pressure but the water was hot and towels...
We stayed here two nights on a weekend away with friends for a wedding. It was great! The hotel itself has a lot of charm in old town - many different room types. Location is perfect close to VIA station and nearby shopping malls. Spacious room with comfortable beds and very nice dining area. Room is great for family holidays and the room charge is value for money.
Walking distance to most of popular places. A lot of restaurants around. Breakfast does not have a lot of choices but like the fruits they offered.
This apartment is perfectly situated in Old Quebec City, only a 10-minute walk from the iconic Chateau Frontenac. With restaurants right downstairs, it's incredibly convenient. We liked the room a lot. It was very spacious. We also enjoyed the pool. Service was great. Valet uploaded our luggage and brought to the room and the same when we checked out. All of the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast.

We spent one night at the W and had an incredible experience. The staff went above and beyond—truly attentive in every way. Special thanks to Mauricio for making our stay even more memorable! Stayed a weekend in Montreal and the hotel has everything you want. Gym facilities were great (and I hear they are getting renovated soon). Room was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. The hotel bar was also great though we never had dinner at the restaurant. Would recommend!
My bf and I were on vacation visiting Canada and we decided to stay at the W. From the moment we walked in, the manager Mauricio made us feel at home. The W Montreal lives up to the expectations you would expect from this level of hotel, but what was truly above and beyond was the service and hospitality. The executive room was very spacious and fantastic value for money. Totally worth it. Bathroom was lovely
They did not have what this website offers to book. No 2 king beds. Signed is horrible. Nice rooms otherwise. Huge and very kind staff
The hotel location is good but the cleanliness and room services were not good No curtain blocks the sun
Overall nice staying at the hotel. The only inconvenience is the self laundry at the adjacent block and require coins to operate. Will be good if the front desk can reserve some coins for exchange with guests who need to use the self laundry service
Good location and convenience to go everywhere. Room is very clean with daily cleaning service.
Efficient and friendly service at the front desk. I got a room right by the elevators, which wasn't great, and it sounded like someone was bouncing a soccer ball against the adjoining wall for most of my stay, but the room itself was clean. We loved our stay in Montreal at LHotel. It was the perfect spot to explore old Montreal and beyond. We stayed a total of 4 nights and we enjoyed its great location, amenities and they made us feel very special. It was an extended weekend get away for a special occasion as a couple.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the noise level in the area was a major downside. Doors were being slammed by other guests late into the night, and there was a lot of street noise—honking cars and frequent sirens. It made it really difficult to relax or sleep.
This hotel is in a fantastic location in Montreal, everything right there. The hotel itself is a little different, not the crisp new build that sometimes we come to expect.
The premises are clean and cozy. The clientele is very good, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. As we sat in the lobby area enjoying breakfast croissants/orange juice/coffee, there was a positive hum of activity from other...
This hotel made our vacation. It's hard to travel as a large family (two adults, four children) but our rooms were perfect. The beds were amazing and the chocolate croissants for breakfast were worth the price of admission on their own! Perfectly located, the staff was so kind with our kids and helping with luggage and strollers. Look forward to staying again on our next visit.
Convenient for travel. The surrounding attractions are within walking distance. It is also convenient for eating. It is very close to Chinatown. It is just that parking is not very convenient. The hotel needs to park for you.

Service was lovely. Everyone was helpful, kind, and had wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the city. Public transit was convenient and valet service meant we were able to park for the entirety of our stay and not worry. My only complaint was our room was very warm and even though it was 6°C outside, we had the AC on.
Stylish room, comfortable bed, excellent location, but what stood out most was the level of service from employees. I stayed here for three days and every single interaction with staff was 5-star-hotel caliber -- genuine, friendly, super helpful and professional. The hot water took a long time to arrive in the room but it didn't bother me. Really great hotel!
Top notch! Loved this hotel and all of the staff we encountered, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were super clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable! The valet parking was great, the staff for the parking were wonderful.

It was our second time at this hotel and since the second time is often the test, I am happy to write this positive review. The beds are quite nice but the pillows are really comfortable. Overall a great place to stay. Quite a convenient to stay considering it's between Old and Downtown Montreal.
Will be staying there again very soon.
It's only a two-minute walk from the subway station, which is very convenient for doing things in the city. The breakfast in the morning is just bread, milk, juice and coffee. It's simple, but it's cost-effective.
Stayed in Montreal for 4 days and chose this hotel in downtown. It was quite comfortable and had a microwave and refrigerator. There were no slippers. There is a bus terminal next to the hotel. You can take a 747 to the airport for $11. There are many homeless people and some drug ******* next to the hotel.
Objectively speaking, for this price and location, there is no need for service and environment. It seems that there is Hyatt not far away, but the price is completely different. But the most inappropriate thing about this hotel is that the front desk actually recorded my credit card number when I asked for a deposit. A few days later, the bank said that it suspected that my card was stolen and the...

What a gorgeous hotel. We stopped here to have a glass of wine and to enjoy the lovely view of the port from the terrace. Our server , Malak, made the experience even better. We just returned from our 25th anniversary trip to Montreal. Hotel Kutuma is a real gem: delightful staff, well-appointed and clean rooms, and excellent location (reminded us of the Marais District in Paris). Adam took care of every need, anticipating everything. Well priced and good value, especially compared to antiseptic, pricey chains. This is a beautiful family/run business.
