Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Gold Experience, Montreal1 / 35
8.5
Montreal, 900 Blvd Rene Levesque West-Bldg A 🧭 Map
The location of the hotel in the René- Lévesque Blvd W is quite convenient to visit ICAO HQs and downtown. Next door in Mansfield St is Mary, Queen of the world Cathedral. Rooms are OK, nothing great to be mentioned
Breakfast layout is quite impressive
We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow. For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter
It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings. I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here
It is very conveniently located above the underground connections to the mall and the train. I would give this place 6*s if I could. Valet was wonderful and the bellhop whose name I regrettably don't remember was so kind
The hotel is an old castle-like building, next to a church. There's an escalator leading to the underground central train station, and several restaurants offer 24-hour dining. I was very satisfied with everything.

We thought this would be a good deal based on price and location, but turns out it’s priced just right- the pool was constantly overflowing with people (we never got to use it), and between one and two of the elevators were constantly out of commission
I was told to go back to my room and dial 0, and they would come get it. It may sound like a five-star feature, but only if you're willing to wait for them. Everything we needed was a 3 to 5 minute walk
While it means your team can't run roughshod over a whole floor or a particular common area, it ensures that the experience for all guests is what you expect from a Sheraton. Some details that I noticed were:
Obviously it's going to be busy on those nights so the hotel can't do anything about that, BUT they had attractive event parking prices for the general public ($15) compared to the price of overnight parking offered to hotel guests ($29+tax)
3) Doors to the room that close slowly (don't slam) but definitely do close to provide security but also easy in and out. I'm sensitive to bad air quality and I woke up each morning able to breathe perfectly
So if we used the bathroom, the smell was still there when we got back to he room 6+ hours later. More often than not, we ended up using the bathrooms in. The lobby, to keep the funk out for the room

The hotel was located in a good spot, near many attractions in downtown Montreal. The service is friendly and the rooms are nice. However, you can hear clear as day with the room attached to yours
Staff was great on arrival (early) and departure assisting me with a wheelchair and helping me down the front steps in the rain. Doorman assisted me and ensured I was safely in the Uber
Very nice hotel, quiet despite being downtown and close to a very busy hockey arena. The room was clean and comfortable. One thing to mention is the access to the tub/shower
Front desk staff was also helpful upon check-in making sure I was comfortable in a wheelchair until my room was ready. we went for breakfast and it was set up in an hour
and although I am not handicapped (my mobility is restricted due to hip arthritis and was extremely tough to enter/exit the shower
This is very disruptive at night and all throughout the day having to listen to someone cough and sneeze all day

Kind of difficult to get to because you have to take one elevator up to the 6th floor from the shopping center and that puts you out by the bar area and you walk around to reception, then take another set of elevators to get to the guest rooms
They also have a wine bar and you can purchase a card for $20 from the front desk and try different wines from about 30 wines available, and it's open until 3am (regular bar closes at 11pm)
I arrived and was greeted by a very friendly valet. He offered me Valet or self parking and informed me of the advantages to valet. I chose to self park and he offered me instructions
The bed was soft and the pillows were fantastic. The bathroom was spotless, from this decade. The pool was clean and provided a great view. What was even more surprising was the location to shops and restaurants
The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, interior was clean, polished, and updated! The hotel room was clean, as the staff were very kind! However, one thing that I did not like was the pool
Checkin was simple and the team working was very professional, informative and pleasant. Going into the room the temperature was set perfectly and the room had been cleaned well

Had dinner at the hotel restaurant The Gazette our first night, we had the chicken Caesar salad and poke bowl. The poke bowl was absolutely amazing and the salad was great as well, fresh and tasty
Extremely professional staff, attentive and accommodating. I am in a wheelchair and they've been wonderful in helping us get around with a smile. Upgraded our room and brought us complimentary drinks
Can't complain about anything. We made ourselves at home in this place. Our friends booked a suite and we had so much fun. Montreal needs a place like this to accommodate foreigners
Room was spacious and came with a fridge and complimentary water. Kevin (over night staff) wad absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist when an issue arose
They made us feel very special on our honeymoon. Would highly recommend if you're in the area, great location in the heart of the city too! Everything was so close by
Glad we decided to go with the Westin again, they never disappoint. As usual the beds are divine and suck you right in for a great night sleep

We stayed one night on our way to Quebec. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location was great, with a popular pizza place and Etone nearby
The room was really cozy and isolated on the 8th floor with nice balcony perfect to relax. The pool is huge and the jaccuzi is the best relaxing activity
The bed is a bit not firm. Keep having those squeaky noise when we get in bed. Other things are good. Just the bed frame can be better~
Room is big, bed is comfortable. Shopping and food are near, quite good.
Nice stay, friendly receptionist, ideal location, majority colleagues can speak bilingual languages, English and French, one thing need attention, entrance for car park is narrow to get in, which is unwelcome to new drivers
I booked this hotel for my friend as Trip.com got better price. The room is clean and big. The service team are nice!

She was very efficient and so just incredible throughout the check-in process. She also mentioned that they have upgraded me to one of their Iconic Suites for being one of their Diamond Elite Ambassador members
The hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor, it needs some investment. What it does have is a warm, friendly very accomodating staff. We used the Club Level and got stellar service from the AM host, Jonathan
Not just kind and attentive, he has a genunie passion for service. He made sure our particular group had thier AM beverages ready to go when we arrived each day
The gentlemen who worked in the bar also was very service oriented. I wish we could recall his name, he was bald and worked Friday - Sunday evening. I would say he was in his early 60's
I highly recommend the ambassador program even if you just stay at Intercontinental a few times a year. The club lounge was a blessing and a curse. We almost didn't have to leave the hotel at all to eat
He is such an efficient and friendly employee. I do wish the pool hours were expanded, maybe with an adults only timeframe. The balcony is heavenly, right off of the pool area, so beautiful

But rooms are slightly dated although being maintained well. Easy walk to so many city neighborhoods and other areas (but such is Montreal). Good value for quality establishment
The bar inside the hotel is great, with a nice selection of drinks and very good service
I have eaten at the restaurant for breakfast, and it is good, although the breakfast restaurant around the corner (Universel) is the best. and another reason why I like this hotel
It's in a very good location. Close to shopping, restaurants and the Bell Centre for those looking to watch a hockey game
Good hotel, great location. No need for valet, park across the street around the corner - no waiting for valets, etc. Select Guest program is well worth the couple of minutes to signup for extras.
Beautiful and comfortable hotel! Very clean and the staff are very accomodating! I was impressed by the entire staff from the valet to the chamber maid! I would highly recommend Omni Hotel for anyone

A very polished staff provided a high level of service in both the hotel and restaurant. I was upgraded to a comfortable suite that was as commodious as it was attractive. Not cutting edge decor, but classic
It's clear this hotel lost some of it's 5-star status. I had a hole in one of my towels; the spa and restaurants were closed, and the property felt underwhelming
Neutrals: Elevators required a card to reach any floors that was not the lobby, good for safety, just inconvenient to dig out card before you went to your room
Gave 4 passes for breakfast and accepted all of them at the two times I attended breakfast with my partner. But at checkout, charged for two breakfasts because I made the hotel reservation for one occupant online
Very good location, it was near a lot of things - 15 minute walk to the convention and other areas nearby. 12pm checkout is default and very nice
My family and I recently stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Montreal, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish

The only hole I felt was that there was no airport shuttle
King bed was nice and comfortable. Room on the smaller side. Customer service was lacklustre - made it feel more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star.
The room is super clean and the service attitude is also very good
Shared a room here for Otakuthon 2023 and it was great, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in
good location and services. A bit hard to park the car
There was a constant noise, I don't know if it was the sound of the water pipe, and the hotel couldn't provide a comb. But the location is pretty good.

The hotel was in an excellent location! There were nearby restaurants, gas stations and the highway was easily accessible. My requests were honored, room was spacious and was cleaned twice during our three day stay
Snug room that the hot shower and warm air were all working in severe winter in Montreal.  Perfect location with 5 mins walk from the metro station
Also the hotel provides plenty parking lots which suitable for driving visitors. Staff are always friendly and answerable!
The beds are not comfortable at all. I had a hard time sleeping as my back hurts the entire time. The coffee machine did not work. Location was perfect for where I wanted to go
Stay out of the south wing it’s old and need of updating The rest is nice roomy and clean Fast elevators and a great gym
I had a great time at Ruby Foo's. They have a great pool and gym. Everything was clean as well. No complaints

Room size was decent, however the layout of the hotel rooms are akin to a maze. You may have to walk quite far if your room is all the way at the back. Location is good, which is walking distance to the main station
There are several cozy corners in and around the hotel to find your zen. The food is also very good and the spa services are great! I've tried other hotels but this one is definitely my staple when I visit Montreal
Hotel is really cool and beautiful. It got crowded but great vibe, great music, friendly bartenders. The restaurant was good, beds really comfortable. I saw lots of ducklings in the stream
Felt like a resort great pool area and the food was good! Drinks were a little pricey but overall excellent!
Excellent stay. We especially enjoyed the festive vibe in the pool area. Loved the jazzy music they had playing. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great.
Amenities were great, there is a central pool with jacuzzi tubs at the side, mini sauna and a small-mid sized gym which has sufficient equipments to get a workout in

A central location to many things, I would stay there again to utilize more amenities
The room was very spacious, and the surroundings were very pleasant.
Rates were reasonable for the busiest weekend of the year. Room was nice, bed comfortable, hotel bar was good and got a great night’s sleep
This was our first time staying here and we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are in good condition and the beds are comfy. There’s an indoor heated pool, which we enjoyed
The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located in the city. The room was clean and a fairly good size.

Rooms are great and the hotel is clean and the ambiance is very nice. It's close to the Metro for convenience and has lots of amenities. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but the food was really good
I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be disappointed. We stayed here for a summer family vacation. Room was very clean and a good size for four people
I strongly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Montreal

The only thing was that the pillows were thick and firm but its a personal need were some like these pillows, I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back
Breakfast is good, enough choice and even fresh bread (brown, white and with nuts and raisins). staff very friendly and sincere. on walking distance of a shopping street and cinema. Enough restaurants in the vicinity
We had an absolutely amazing time at Novotel Montreal Centre. Location is just perfect walking distance to all attractions. The rooms were spacious and spotless, crisp bed sheets
The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a good variety of options! Staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable
It was a great stay for a mix of business and pleasure. Meeting space was comfortable with all essentials amenities. Food services were excellent
Staff went the extra mile to help microwave food every morning as the rooms do not come with microwaves. Also happily took out minibar drinks to accommodate room for food in the mini fridge

For such an expensive luxury hotel, the housekeeping was really oddly sloppy. We did love the front desk people, spa and concierge. Maggie Oakes was pretty good too. We will be back but will ask for a better room
I've done a fair amount of travel, and this is one of the best hotels out there. Exceptional service, nice design/ decor, comfortable rooms (great showers!), and a perfect location for enjoying Montreal
One complaint was the room we were given was by the elevator and the room opened right to the bed rather than down a bit of a hallway which is typical. The TV was placed in an odd location which made watching it hard
The housekeeping was terrible! They constantly came late after we’d returned to rest after all day out, forgot to replace coffee mugs and take old ones, didn’t leave new wash cloths, never once replaced lotion
We were invited to a wedding so no comment on the rooms as we did not book one. Speaking about the establishment per se,it was fantastic. The first and most important factor would be it’s incredible staff
Had an amazing meal with even better service… the tuna tartare was very delicious and we had everything we needed thanks to our waitress Laura. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit!!

Will be good if the front desk can reserve some coins for exchange with guests who need to use the self laundry service
Good location and convenience to go everywhere. Room is very clean with daily cleaning service.
The hotel location is good but the cleanliness and room services were not good No curtain blocks the sun
I got a room right by the elevators, which wasn't great, and it sounded like someone was bouncing a soccer ball against the adjoining wall for most of my stay, but the room itself was clean
Overall nice staying at the hotel. The only inconvenience is the self laundry at the adjacent block and require coins to operate
Efficient and friendly service at the front desk

Would definitely recommend this stay to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality
We visited Montreal on US Labor Day weekend to get away and were pleasantly surprised by how well situated the Courtyard Downtown Montreal is
Can only speak for the breakfast dining service. “Alina”… thank you for your kind service, patience and just overall being a nice person. The gentleman that seated me… pleasant and greeted with a smile
To management… please have new employees shadow them. Yes it’s only breakfast, but when you’re thousands of miles from home, great service, good food and friendly faces makes it all the more fulfilling
The place was clean, room temperature was good, the view on the south was nice. Since we were on the 10th floor it was very quiet. There's 3 things I would like to point out tho
It's only a couple blocks from Chinatown, and about a ~10-15 minute walk from Old Montreal

Everything about our stay was excellent. We had stayed at the Lowes property approximately 3 years ago, prior to the beautiful renovation we were pleasantly surprised by
My favorites part was Ending every day with a soak in the jetted extra large tub! It was perfect! Towards the end of are stay we got given a tour of the remodel in progress once its finished it will be beautiful but don't let that keep your from booking to stay here as there was no noise! We Will definitely be back and stay here again
We were given a warm greeting by the valet attendant, had a seamless check-in experience, were blown away by the modern yet luxurious rooms, enjoyed the large gym space, and the staff was lovely
The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bath amenities smelled so good I loved the added touches of the month wash, bath salts and loofah! The bath towels were thick and very soft
Great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in and right at home for your entire stay with any needs you have being met immediately
I had the opportunity to stay here last week and I'll definitely be coming back to Vogue. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Located is great, right in the heart of Downtown

The staff made this one of our best hotel stays ever. They were not only friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating but also proactive
My mom and I had high tea at the Ritz! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the staff was excited to welcome us. We got a little lesson on the history and significance of the hotel
The high tea service was excellent! The food was excellent as well as the teas! Definitely a must do!
