Hotel Monville, Montreal1 / 50

Montreal, 1041 rue de Bleury 🧭 Map
Shared a room here for Otakuthon 2023 and it was great, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in
The highlight of this was when waiting to check out, a helpful staff member plucked us out of the line to do the check out at the kiosks to the side, and also stored our luggage for us without having to do a thing
The room is smaller than what you'd usually expect in a hotel but I don't feel it was cramped with two people. The space is used very efficiently
It's right next to the convention center (and therefore the metro), cleanliness is top notch and the everything is very modern feeling
Shower pressure and the temperature control was on point, better than my shower at home. Staff are also very friendly and helpful
Great experience! Nice and clean room, although on the smaller side. The bed and pillows were very comfortable

Excellent food and drinks at the restaurant! The one BIG downside of this hotel-the staff are not overseeing the pool/hot tub area, so people were packed in the hot tub and never got out
The room was spacious and clean, good service overall
Good combination between price and quality. It’s a little old but classy, it look like good for business and vacation as well, nice details on your room for snow season
Rooms are spacious and staff helpful and professional. The area is very "downtown", just like any business district: lots of concrete, not that much greenery. Useful if you're there doing business
And makes you appreciate the hotel gardens and waterfalls even more!
The hotel is beautiful, the amenities excellent. The staff are very helpful as well. My only complaint is that our room was not sound proofed and we heard people in the hall too well

The best place to stay in Montreal for a short or long stay. In the heart of downtown Montreal, accessible by metro and bus. Near to Rue St Catherine where the shopping centers, restaurants, cinema and arcades
I had a great experience at the hotel. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. One comment, the hotel is in perfect condition, but I don't understand the chairs situation
Perfectly situated across from Metro and just down the street from McGill University and the Underground City. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Standup shower was roomy with great water pressure
The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Always welcomed us coming back for our days adventures. Always cleaned before we got back. The cafe staff were very welcoming at 630am
Only drawback would be the small elevators that were a bit slow, but you get used to it and since we were on vacation , we weren’t in a rush. Very nice stay even with our two dogs
The room is spacious, with a kitchenette where you can cook quick and easy meals. The staff are very accommodating and helpful

I even had a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. I will definitely go back when next I visit Montreal. Thanks to Bernard in the breakfast room and everyone who made my stay comfortable
Nice hotel with good location close to subway station, downtown and historic centre. Room was quiet and clean, bathtub was perfect, bed as well. Breakfast is not bad, but nothing special
Took off one star because the bedding was quite thin and my room was cold even with the heat on max. Despite that the bed was very comfortable, and no bed bugs!
I enjoyed my short stay at Embassy Suites Montreal. The staff was amazing, the food was very delicious especially the vast variety of choices for breakfast. The room was large and comfortable
Finding the parking was a bit tricky for someone who isn’t from the city. Very close to the Metro! Super convenient location to explore Montreal
I like the bar at the corner with funny bartender. Evening reception is nice plus, but nothing extra

Had little kitchen (with an oven). Normal size for hotel but good variety of machines and all in working order. Only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the bathroom, created yellow hue when getting ready
The bed height is probably a little high for people who transfer from a wheelchair - I have an elevate feature on my powerchair or else it would have been a problem
My only complaint is that they don't have wheelchair accessible rooms at the lower prices in the non-suite options so we had to pay more for the family suite
The bathroom was large and nicely accessible except there is no roll in shower
Also served continental breakfast
This is a great hotel in a not-so-great location for tourists. If you are on business travel, this place is perfect with a decent gym and great kitchen, dining and work areas

Sparkling clean! Lovely, welcoming staff!
Popped into the Starbucks for a coffee and bagel and day in the Hotel Le Crystal's lobby. Was really modern. Loved the crystal chandeliers.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Hotel Le Crystal if you're looking for somewhere comfortable, reasonably priced, and with a good location right in the Heart of the City
Pool area has great coffee in the morning. Nice area to relax. Hotel is good but not 5 star. 4 for sure though.
Beautiful hotel in fabulous location in Montreal! Right in the middle of the city, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the Old Montreal, etc… Super comfortable bed with soft, cooling sheets
On one of the higher floors there is a pool and a beautiful hot tub with an amazing view of Mount Royal and more of the downtown business district area so I recommend checking that out if it's open

Majority of them spoke English which was a plus. Zach our concierge was super sweet and attentive to our needs. We decided to have dinner at their restaurant TBSP, you must ask for GABRIEL this man was PHENOMENAL 🥰🥰
Mauricio reached out ahead of my group’s booking to make sure we had everything we needed, organized the payment ahead of time as requested and provided a number of recommendations to ensure we optimized our time in the city
We had an amazing 2 days at the W. We were great by Mauricio at check in and he just made our stay so welcoming. He invited us to the connection lounge for some cocktails on Saturday night and it was just spectacular
We also had dinner at TBSP which is located inside the W and once again we were well taken care of. Thank you to the W and the great staff. Special thank you to Mauricio for making our stay a happy one
My bf and I were on vacation visiting Canada and we decided to stay at the W. From the moment we walked in, the manager Mauricio made us feel at home. Everyone was extremely friendly and down to earth
Keep up the amazing work and warm customer service. We also met with Lambert and another young man who gave us a map and suggested a few nice places to visit. Thanks again for the amazing experience

The valets are super nice, the staff surprised us with chocolate and water bottles in our room after cleaning, and both restaurants are excellent
Central to multiple tourist areas within short walking distance and 2 blocks from the metro for easy connection to any other locations. Staff was courteous and accommodating without being intrusive
I would definitely stay there again. It is up the hill from the metro station, so if you have mobility issues, you should reach out to staff to find out their accommodations
We were greeted by friendly and proficient doormen who silmiled and greeted us warmly. The space is welcoming with lots of space to sit and relax
We stayed here two nights on a weekend away with friends for a wedding. It was great! The hotel itself has a lot of charm in old town - many different room types
Worth a stay for some old town Montreal feel and access! Walking distance to many old town restaurants and shops (also in the same square as the Norte Dame) as well as easy access/close by to the underground system

Great hotel. Very comfortable bed. Good location. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Parking was a bit tight, but I have a large vehicle. Definitely would stay here again.
Really nice experience at this hotel, staying in one of their condo/studio rooms. It felt really private, with not many rooms on each floor and good sound proofing
We got a great deal on the room as well. The hotel had a spa but we didn't visit it. There is a convenience store around the corner. The hotel seems out of the way relative to a lot of attractions
The shower was a walk-in with six jets, hot water and food pressure. Housekeeping was regular and thorough
We've stayed at Le Nouvelle Hotel twice now and both times the stay was excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. We'll definitely return again the next time we are in Montreal.
Each year I spend the day here as the Montreal St Patrick's parade headquarters. Staff are extremely accommodating and service is excellent

Stylish room, comfortable bed, excellent location, but what stood out most was the level of service from employees
Public transit was convenient and valet service meant we were able to park for the entirety of our stay and not worry. My only complaint was our room was very warm and even though it was 6°C outside, we had the AC on
Everyone was helpful, kind, and had wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the city
No carpets which is awesome! So great job to room service staff too! This hotel is walking distance from Guy metro station and 13 minute walk to downtown
I stayed here for three days and every single interaction with staff was 5-star-hotel caliber -- genuine, friendly, super helpful and professional
Would certainly recommend this hotel, just make sure you're up for some walking down into old Montreal (or catch the Metro but then you miss all the sights!)

Montreal, 455 rue Sherbrooke Ouest 🧭 Map
Room was a bit dated, but was clean and service was good. Not sure if I'd recommend the underground parking as spots are really tight and there's a parking space right across
Breakfast was good, but sometimes crowded. Room had a kitchen Central location to downtown 24 hour reception. Close supermarket for any food requirements and beverages Reasonable value for money
Basically a whole apartment with all the necessities for the price. $2 for laundry and $3 for dryer. They are close and walkable to many areas
Also very walkable for the metro or bus and we were able to take a bus back to the airport from here. They can hold your bag if you check out early free of charge
Decent included breakfast, though we missed it the first couple of days since it closes at 9:30 on weekdays. The banana bread tasted homemade. Would definitely stay here again
The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with many cold protein options to choose from as well as cereals and assortment of breads

Great location in Old Montreal. The hotel is stunning, the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the rooms are phenomenal, and the service is exceptional. I've never had a bad experience at the St-James.
This is such a beautiful Hotel. We made a last minute reservation because we were accepted to Diner en Blanc in Montreal. The staff was really incredible
I came here 10years ago and this hotel service is always the best not to mention its location. Rooms are very charming and tastefully decorated. The hotel is a boutique style and located in the heart of the old Montreal
From the time we arrived and checked in, to the Concierge's guidance on local caterers, directions and recommendations to a liquor store and directions to the metro. It was a memorable stay and we'll definitely be back
The photos don't do this justice, we stayed in a junior suite, it was gorgeous. Incredible service, courteous staff, perfectly located In old Montreal. This is my first stay here, I'll never stay anywhere else again.
Hotel St James is one of my favorite hotels in Montreal. This hotel is pure luxury, with a beautiful restaurant and SPA. Staff at this hotel are very professional and friendly. I must say the service is impeccable

Maybe the best value hotel downtown. Room was very simple but clean as a whistle. Parking was $20 a night and very tight but convenient and safe. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but got the job done
Breakfast is basic continental, but good quality. As of November 2023, the walk to the hotel can seem initially intimidating due to nearby construction, but the area was safe
Hot breakfast in the morning was a welcome perk with fruits, bacon/sausages, eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, tea and coffee. No issues with security or comfort. Very helpful and cheerful staff
For the price it exceeded the value especially with a location so convenient for Montreal attractions
Great hotel for visiting Montreal, located close to historic Montreal and a major metro station
Able to easily stay with little to no French language skills

It was an extended weekend get away for a special occasion as a couple. It is such a unique hotel with an eclectic feel with very interesting decor and furnishings
There are countless restaurants within walking distance. Without a doubt the best part of the stay was the people. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, while patiently listening to us
Being in an older building doesn't mean it is not kept in good condition and we had no issues with anything during our stay. You are quite literally 2-3 blocks from the Notre Dame Basilica and Rue St Paul
The clientele is very good, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. As we sat in the lobby area enjoying breakfast croissants/orange juice/coffee, there was a positive hum of activity from other guests
Most importantly, the staff at LHotel are young, professional, and willing to help. I have never experienced the complete effort this group exhibits at ever turn. Their welcoming approach to guests is refreshing
We loved our stay in Montreal at LHotel. It was the perfect spot to explore old Montreal and beyond. We stayed a total of 4 nights and we enjoyed its great location, amenities and they made us feel very special

Spent a weekend in Montreal with my husband and we stayed in a king room. Great location, walking distance to old Montreal. The room was the best value we could find and it was much nicer than expected
It is one of the best hotel I’ve had
The room had a Mac desktop and a Dyson hair dryer which is quite high end for any hotel and especially an affordable one such as this. They serve free continental breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here
We split up three nights here over a week during Osheaga. The location is perfect as it is less than 5 minute walk to a metro station. The rooms were clean and large with comfortable beds
Very clean, and the staff were very nice. Parking was just down the street. We paid about $40 for the 2 nights we were there. The breakfast in the morning was simple. Hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit, cereal
Love the location, you're walking distance to everything. Beds and pillows could be more comfortable, but that's definitely a preference thing!

The night before we checked into this place, we have stayed at another hotel, much more expensive and more prestigious than this one, but our experience wasn’t nearly as good as the one we received here! The kitchenette has all you will ever need to make you feel like home
5 rooms (bedroom, walk in closet, kitchenette, sitting area, bathroom). Complementary laundry with soap provided. Off street parking for only $20 per day plus tax. Restaurants and grocery store on the same block
Our family is extremely satisfied with this hotel! The whole experience was beyond my expectations! The rooms are newly renovated and every single detail is well thought of to ensure that you have the most comfortable stay
Everything is “next door”, the restaurants, grocery store, liquor store- just a few steps away. And of course a beautiful cafe downstairs next to the lobby- real treat. Will definitely come back here more than once
Metro station a short walk away
Very spacious for anyone who travels heavy, my favorite part was having the walk in closet, room to store luggage, the place was clean, well furnished and wonderful kitchenette, nice bathroom, soft towels, huge plus for a hotel! And the staff were warm and welcoming, very friendly, such a pleasure

The hotel was located in a good spot, near many attractions in downtown Montreal. The service is friendly and the rooms are nice. However, you can hear clear as day with the room attached to yours
This is one of those places where you can spend a lot or not, depending on what you want. The double suite was amazing! Great views, modern room (super cool toilets!), tons of space. The meal options are a fresh change
Enjoyed our stay at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain! The only issue we had during our stay was the workers strike happening at the time, which meant we weren’t getting our rooms cleaned every day
The customer service was on and off during our stay. I loved that this hotel was walkable to all the places we wanted to get to. Overall, I loved the stay and would return!
Staff was great on arrival (early) and departure assisting me with a wheelchair and helping me down the front steps in the rain. Doorman assisted me and ensured I was safely in the Uber
Very nice hotel, quiet despite being downtown and close to a very busy hockey arena. The room was clean and comfortable. One thing to mention is the access to the tub/shower

Great hotel in the heart of downtown! Great service, room service is excellent but the prices are expensive! It was unforgettable moments with my love but not sure if we come back. Thanks for everything
Only disappointment is not being able to easily stream on the TVs-might be possible but haven't been able to figure out-this is important feature for an English speaker in the Province of Quebec
My mom and I had high tea at the Ritz! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the staff was excited to welcome us. We got a little lesson on the history and significance of the hotel
The high tea service was excellent! The food was excellent as well as the teas! Definitely a must do!
We had an amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton Montreal! The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, and the location is perfect for shopping and museums. The staff were all wonderful and attentive
The hard product is also very nice, being the first Ritz Carlton in North America means some of the layouts will be dated. In spite of this, the property has done an amazing job of updating features

The good thing is the hotel rooms are nice, modern, have nice mirrors and are pretty quiet as the building is made of concrete. Unfortunately the service of the hotel is not great
A great accommodation for a few nights on a business trip. Room was clean and felt recently refurbished with new furniture and finishes. Within walking distance of a few popular sites and areas of the city!
The rooms could be cleaned better. There is one home workout machine from Costco, a treadmill, a few light dumbbells and a biking machine. It’s a small room and not a great space for working out
Staff are sometimes rude, sometimes friendly. They do not do more than the minimum. Housekeeping never cleaned our room even when we requested it. We had to go downstairs to get new towels
Right beside china town and Place Des Arts. Lots of things to do here and lots of transit options. Overall, I think the hotel could be better if they improve their customer service and improve the gym
Staff were friendly and spoke both French and English and helpful in answering questions

I stayed here mid November, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were helpful, attentive and overall wonderful (even offering us bottles of water “for the road” when we departed)
Service was excellent from the minute we arrived and consistently so until departure. The valet wouldn't let me lift a finger with our luggage on arrival or departure. The front desk staff were polite and helpful
The location is amazing, the valet was efficient, the restaurant was amazingly cute with a little courtyard, and an excellent breakfast. This place is worth every cent
The location is great, but the place needs some updating. Also, the staff is not trained to the best level. No greetings, no offers to help, no attempt to go above and beyond
He was able to muster strength to bid us farewell… Housekeeping was good
The room was beautiful, the bathroom fantastic - to the point that my friend tried to convince me to help her dismantle the shower and take it with us - she like it that much. The location could not have been better
