Where to stay in Kyrenia

Amazing hotel with very clean rooms and so many amenities. The staff were great from reception Duygu was so helpful and friendly. The waiting staff in the restaurant were the most attentive I've ever witnessed and so pleasant. There was always free sun loungers at the pool area which was great. My only suggestion is the pillows on the bed could be smaller and softer.

In August, we spent 5 wonderful days at the hotel (for the third time) and when we came to check out, we were supposed to be refunded because we didn't use the entire deposit we transferred (2000 Turkish Liras), we were told after some discussion that the money would be returned to our bank account. We called several times and were told it would take time. A month and a half has passed since then and...

Stayed at the hotel for 12 nights booked through Cyprus Paradise Holidays. Arrived 01.15hrs tired after a long journey not offered any refreshments but given a packed sandwich and apple not quite what we wanted. Room very well equipped comfortable and spacious. The food is fine but the pastries are so low in quality. The fruits were tasty. The costumer service must be improved for clients to want to come back again. The location is amazing. I would like to come again for that .

Go to roof top bar & have a cocktail or 2, take in the views & enjoy the splendour of a sunset, is breathtaking. Then go to ground floor & have a slap up meal for a very very reasonable price. Seperate cooffee lounge that is lovely & good coffee too. Loved it here, when we come back over, will be frequently visited, book in advance.

Could do with being refurbished Moved from the big upstairs dining room to the smaller one downstairs but you lost fruit juice, fresh fruit and toaster. Our shower leaked l did report it as it is dangerous 3 weeks later still nothing done. Face cloths are like hens teeth l had to keep asking for clean ones. Staff were friendly.

Everything was nice in this hotel. The staff was very helpful, Camilla at reception helped with our query, the guy at breakfast refilled the hot chocolate immediately. And the room was also a good size with a comfortable bed and warm floor in the bathroom :) Also there were so many options at breakfast, both sweet and savory.

Need to sort bathroom no plug for sink shower floors on floor door wont close as to big . Bedroom and rooms kept clean by the lovely ladies . Need a plug socket by mirror to use straighteners. Breakfast same stuff every day need more choice fruit . Dinner not very bland . I think if we went in height of season this would have been much better we went end November. Very happy barman and lovely staff...

We have spent there 5 night instead of 6 (we had some problems because of the pandemic-situation) and they changed the booking for us, this was a nice start. The rooms are correct, the doors are a little bit hard to open. Garden and swimming pool is beautiful and clean. The staff is kind, one of the waiters, Yusuf was really nice with us. The hotel grounds are spacious and offer a wide range of activities. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, with no rocky areas. The restaurant and food are delicious. We only experienced a few issues with room service. Room cleaning needs some improvement.

The location of the hotel is very good. The sea is crystal clear. Activities for children fill the whole day. The staff is friendly but the number of staff is not enough for the guests. The cleaning is of medium quality. The food is delicious and the varieties are sufficient. The aqua parks are sufficient for children.

They have clean rooms and beach is great but animations could be funnier. There’s nothing to do after 10pm.

Food was amazing and different every night. Couldn’t have asked for more. Freshly cooked chicken, lamb steaks, chicken wings, Adana kebabs, doner etc for dinner plus pides, soups and more traditional foods as well such as stews, dolma, bulgar, rice etc. It really is fantastic. Only used the bar and listened to a lady sing live with a guitarist backing her. Amazing. Great service but you get what you pay for. Not cheap but an excellent evening. Highly recommend it

Spent the day at the resort to enjoy it’s amenities. Breathtaking views of the sea. Two pools, a beach area, and a large deck with sunbathing chairs that leads to a sea swimming area. Something for everyone. Lunch, drinks, pool, and view are amazing. Definitely recommend.

We last came to this Hotel, just before Covid, this has been our 7th visit. The hotel has changed over the years, bigger restaurant, outdoor eating area, extra food prep area, Pizza salad bar all very good, staff are great, friendly and helpful . A shuttle bus to a private beach with snacks and drinks. We where disappointed that the shuttle bus into Kyrenia was not running anymore, if you want to visit...

Amazing resort! The view is incredible, mountains and sea view combined. The resort also has it's own beach location with a beach bar . The rooms are clean and accomodating . Good for tourists and buissiness . Hasa vast golf course and wedding venue. The service is good and high class. The location is only 30 minutes from Girne ( Kirinia) . Highly recommended!

Hotel good but lack of entertainment made a very boring evening, too far out to go into nearest town also food not to a good standard buffet style Breakfast ok. Golf course was excellent one of the best we have played. But would not return because of issues above. Also a long drive from South to North Cyprus via a border took 1 HR 40 minutes too long after a 4 HR 30 minute flight.

It has amazing natural environmet. Great place for golf sport activities and wedding ceremonies. Beautiful landscape, good service, nice music and delicius food.

Nice place, good staff and food. Free shuttle to beach and Kyrenia (unfortunely last shuttle from Kyrenia is coming back in 8:45 PM, I´d prefer later time). Rooms are spacy and clean. My only complaint is paid water in minibar and during dinner, I think that this could be provided for free, especially in this level of accomodation.

Excellent Hotel fabulous rooms with balcony and roof top pool and restaurant. buffet is varied and serves international food as well as Turkish quite a busy area so need tye double glazing but good location for shopping and site seeing. friendly staff

Excellent hotel in centre of Kyrenia. Spotlessly clean. Lovely rooms. Lovely friendly staff always willing to help opening doors etc. Great pool on roof...shame it wasn't heated- it was April. Nice bar on roof level for a last drink each night. Cannot fault the hotel. The window in the adjoining hotel was amazing. Thank you to all the staff.

Breakfast was like at the three star hotel

Just returned from a 2 week break at the Colony Hotel, we had a fabulous time, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, rooms are lovely and clean. Pool is to die for. I would like to say a massive thank you to Azam "hope I've spelt his name right" who went above and beyond when my partner had a diabetic episode. Tonight I went with family to The Colony Roof for cocktails. Not much first visit. They were hosted a big party for Galatasaraya supporters. Most hotels would have politely said "private party" not The Colony. They put us by the rooftop pool with a view of the amazing sunset and served us cocktails and their delicious mixed nuts. THANK YOU, Colony Staff.

Breakfast was better than expected.🍽🧀🥚🥨🥗🍉🍒✨️🍽 The location is very nice. 🌊🌊🌊 The room is clean but undeniably old. There are two restaurants, Chinese and Italian. Chinese food is quite salty. We recommend ordering with a light taste.

The hotel rooms look exactly like in the photos. The staff is very friendly and gave us good tips anytime we had a question. The food was also great and you have a lot to choose from. All in all a great cozy hotel!

Cheap but really nice. Everything in one place. One is the best beach in TRNC.

The beach is cool, clean and was also not to crowded. You pay for each person 25 Turkish Lira in order to have your private space on the beach, which Is a very fair price. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun this beach is a great spot. We checked also the food on the restaurant that you can eat but we decided not to eat it. It was in our opinion too expensive and didn’t look so good.

Very happy with our stay hotel room was very clean, food was delicious even for my children. Hotel staff and pool staff couldn't be anymore friendly and helpful. Highly recommend here.

We stayed in a double room in Denizkizi Royal with a balcony overlooking the sea up to Kervan, a stunning view watching the sun rise. The chairs were a bit worn, everything else was fine. We had half board, the food was continental breakfast, so we could always find something we liked. The evening meal only had a few options but what we had was OK. Dining alfresco overlooking the bay in the evening...

Deniz Kizi and Golden Bay are adjacent to each other in an area called Karavas/Alsancak, North Cyprus. The sea is shallow and perfect for swimming. D Kizi has a lovely pool and the beach is shared with Golden Bay. Golden Bay offer nice decking on 2 tiers and a restaurant and cafe. It's a great place for a day out. It was free today, but I don't know if that's the norm.

Normally a very busy, bustling area with lots of restaurants competing for your business. Be determined and try them all to collect the best deal. Midday is generally quieter and you can check out the menus in peace.

Lovely harbour reached from the town is lined with a nice selection of fish restaurants and cafes overlooking the pretty harbour and the majestic castle, which holds the world's oldest shipwreck! Entrance fee was expetionally cheap too!! Trips on traditional Turkish Gulet boats are a must at good value. Stay until the sun sets over the Med for a beautiful view.

Small charming old harbor with many restaurants and small shops. Sunsets are just unbeatable here.Nice stroll along castle and sea. Many boat companies offering boat trips. There is public WC near light house.

Absolutely beautiful harbour, so many shops and restaurants located near by and such beautiful views! It also has a near by castle you can visit they have one of the oldest shipwreck boats in it, what a lovely but of history!

This might be the prettiest place in all of Cyprus. A place where you expect Jack Sparrow to walk by ... Castle is impressive. Fresh fish in the harbor was very good. I will be back for sure. My wife spent hours in the gold shops :-)

Trades on the balcony views of the harbour. But nothing else justifies the price, a classic case of a business model based on asset depreciation rather than investment and renewal.

Second time of staying at this Hotel. The Owner is a charming lady and is always ready to have a friendly chat. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic usually served by a pleasant waiter who will advise on what is available and that is plentiful. The gardens are beautifully maintained and a wide range of evening meals are prepared by a very competent Chef. All in all a great place to stay . Sorry forgot...

Nice friendly family run hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a nice time and our room had a balcony with expansive views. We really enjoyed our stay.

First of all, the staff was superb and nice. The hotelrooms looks good, they offer good meals and have a nice swimming pool to get you through the scorching hot midsummer Cyprus afternoons. Also, it is one of few hotels where I've been where they actually bring you your breakfast to the table and a tasty one it was (+ good coffee).

We had pretty much the entire hotel for ourselves during January. Breakfast was alright with fruits, yogurt, some cheese and omelette. Overall was a great place to stay. On the bottom line, the room was smelling bleach which wasn’t enjoyable and was relatively dark with blue light bulbs.

Nice hotel. Several buildings on a large area. Distant from the city center. Easy access to the sea. Nice pool. Clean room.

If WiFi connection is important to you then this hotel is not a good option. And it is not 5 star hotel for sure. Maybe it was many years ago when they built it. Staff was kind but not always speaking English and the food was good, there were options for vegetarian, vegan dishes.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, price is very affordable ,but should be noted that some rooms were very tiny than others and rooms had some cleaning issues with bedbugs.

Very quirky hotel a few minutes walk to the harbour. Great location on a quiet alleyway. Staff fantastic, welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Evening meals very good. Breakfast OK but would really have liked fresh orange juice instead of the powder type juice the served up. All in all a great place to stay and we would certainly go again.

Very friendly warm hearted staff. The rooms are charming with air condition. The homemade food was varied and tasty. For breakfast there was lots of fresh bread, and English style tea. A little but plain but satisfactory. Very good location, in the old town and near the shops. Also it’s right near the harbour where there are boat trips and lots of restaurants. Close to the castle too.
