Beautiful setting, admirable menu, super sevice from the waiters who are very friendly and attentive! My favorite is their French Onion Soup, and there is great salad bar.
Situated just outside City with Park & Ride a few minutes walk with very frequent bus service into the City centre. Made very welcome on arrival and directed to pleasant, spacious room. The restaurant was good for our evening meal and a good breakfast provided.
Decent hotel that has seen better days. A bit pricy for the location in my opinion, but as breakfast was included I guess it was fair.
This hotel is exceptionally clean. Room is nice and big. The only con is the smell. There’s a very strong smell of soap on the hallway and in the room. But after two days your nose kind of get used to it. Breakfast is included, offering a good and healthy selection of food. The restaurant is always busy but waiters are plenty. Worth noting: no one wears mask now. A few minutes walk away, there is a...
Great food and service! Salad buffet offered. Varous deserts and cakes. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!
Very good for lunch after a funeral. It is in walkable distance (4 minutes of walking). Everyone liked the food and having a small room to ourselves helped a lot.

We stayed for three nights, found getting our room key card and access easy. Our room was clean, tidy and cosy. Breakfast gave a nice selection Parking is a bit of a problem, we parked at Blücherplatz just a 5 /10 minute walk away €5 a night, it looks a bit dodgy but in fact safe enough and the ticket machine has a English button but note it doesn't accept card only cash ( or down load a app) The...
Stayed here for one night, which was ok. Good points: - The bed was comfortable - Hotel staff friendly and helpful - Very close the Carolus Thermen Spa Bad points: - The room was not part of the hotel and was across the road in another building. This resembled a building with flats. This meant you had to go across the road for the breakfast. Inside the building was cold with no heating. - Tiles...
Over the past fifteen years this family run hotel has been consistently good and has never once let me down. The rooms are always pristine. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful. The location is good for the town centre and it is only 2 minutes from the Carolus thermal spa. It is a relaxing place to stay.
We wanted to book the hotel directly, unfortunately we didn't get any answers to our inquiries by email. We then booked through HRS. The confirmation stated that you had to arrive by 2:00 p.m. on Sundays. When we arrived at 1:30 p.m., we were told that check-in would not be until 2:30 p.m. However, our room was already ready, nicely furnished, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, minibar. The relatively...
Small beautiful privately run hotel in Aachen. Nice hosts, nice ambience, great breakfast. City center and train station within easy reach. We recommend. If Aachen again, then Hotel Granus...
The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfortable beds each with 3 pillows (I really appreciate that) and free coffee or tea. The bathroom is small, but nothing is missing. Unfortunately, the rooms (we were on the 3rd floor) face the street and it is therefore noisy (the new owner is not responsible for that, so I didn't take it into account in the rating). Unfortunately the wifi is very bad. The breakfast...

Excellent location not far from the motorway but in a traditional setting. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff. The restaurant was closed ( for holidays we thought) but a nearby pizzeria resolved the problem . Breakfast in the hotel was excellent.
Very cosy Hotel - excellent service and a very good restaurant - we enjoyed a very well prepared dinner. The winecard also present German wines - which was highly appreciated. The breakfast is good and you can be served a very nice egg fresh from the farm. A nice stay.

I have been there twice before It is always good, clean and wuiet Good location and secure I am back there next week
It was easy quick and good The room was not large but was a good size and value for money
Fine and comfortable stay close to old town No complaints! Staff was quick to switch us to a bigger room when we notified them that our assigned room wasn’t clean/ready, Frederick was very attentive and room was comfortable and had what we needed. Perfect location to old town.
Ok-ish cheap hotel Cheap clean hotel in a central location. No frills, no surprises. For better or for worse.
Painful check-in. No one on reception when we arrived. Parked in the nearest car park that had a sign for the hotel but it was empty! Went to town until 3pm to check in but us and another family had to wait outside as we didn't have a code to get in and the people inside didn't open the door for us! Once in the family in front of us took 15 minutes to get checked in! Man on reception wanted us to...

We come here regularly. Always good here. Clean, neat rooms. Furnishing a bit dated but fine. And a very fine bed. Breakfast is also always neatly taken care of. Parking does cost 8 euros per day extra.
Ben staying here two times, and both have been a pleasure. The room was nice and clean. Sheets and pillows was great and the staff is nice and helpful. This hotel is a good place to stay when visiting Aachen.
Hotel staff was very good, breakfast was also very good, location to the trade fair. Very good
We checked in at midnight and the waiter was still waiting for us, thank you very much!
Very nice hotel ideally located on the outskirts of Aachen very close to the motorway. The staff were very friendly and had no problems conversing with us. The room was a good size, clean, comfortable, and warm. We had a bath with overhead shower, plenty of storage space, Kettle, and a coffee machine. We will definitely use again and have no hesitation in recommending.
Some rooms are a bit cold due to lack of heating. The rooms are a bit drafty. But overall the rooms are very nice. Overall, the price is worth the service and facilities.

I stayed for two nights in August 2025. I'm quite satisfied with my stay. But I'm a type of person who needs a clean place to sleep and that's it. I spend my days outside exploring the city so in this regard this place was perfect for me. It's only a 25 minutes walk away from the city hall. Although if you are bringing heavy suitcase like I did I wouldn't recommend walking from the train station,...
The people at this hotel are very friendly and the quality of the bed is good. Upon arrival it took some time for someone to welcome us and the room we had wasn't entirely clean (hair in bed) and fixed (some broken lamps), but the manager offered us another room or clean sheets so we could at least sleep feeling like the room was clean. I did expect somewhat better overall value for what we had to...
Everything was as expected. The family room that we booked (3 adults, 1 child) was very clean but on the main road so we had to sleep with the window shut. The beds were very creeky every time someone moved in bed. The coffee and tea making facilities in the bedroom lacked substance. The breakfast was great.
First of all, the location is fairly close to the motorway. The rooms were very nice; heating was good, beds were comfortable. The staff were kind. But most importantly: the breakfast was AMAZING. There was food, ranging from a selection of ham to a selection of cheese, to fresh, warm scrambled egg, to mozzarella balls, to yogurt, to cereal and much more. And for the drinks, there was orange juice...
Recomend this place for staying! Clean room, very good breakfast, lovely and kind reception personnel!

Big room all a bit dated. The place is dead don’t expect more than a place to sleep. Clean room. No breakfast no reception not what you would expect of a hotel calling itself boutique hotel. It really depends what you are looking for - crashing out with friends after a night out, great; romantic weekend not so great, at least if you expect a nice breakfast and friendly welcome.
I don't even know where to start. I'm not used to not having personnel to be available in a hotel. Maybe it's just me and it's normal in Germany. If you stay here choose a room with a balcony. You will have a bed plus a large sofa like a bed and balcony. The room was spacious for three people. There are no elevators. Overall I did enjoy the place because it was quiet and no one bothered us. The cleaning...
A self check in place that had the misfortune of having a lot of construction on the road it is on which limits parking. Room was nice and it meets all the objectives of a traveling family looking for a place to sleep while adventuring during the day.
Lets start with "Woaaw" The room we had was bigger than my apartment. Nice balcony with a lot of green. We didn't use the kitchen, but there is a possibility. The bathroom is luscious with a bath and Dornbracht tap. It's all on walking distance from the centre. Next time we book longer.
Great little hotel in a residential part of Aachen, with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is the standard German offering.

Covenient, clean, economic and quiet. Close to a friendly sports facility with beer and basic meals. No issues but no luxuries. Breakfast basic. Easy parking. My fourth stay here and never any problems. Easy access to motorway. I will continue using this hotel whe4n crossing Europe.
I normally look for a cheaper F1, but the best value locally appeared to be the IBIS. At twice the rate of an F1, I was pleased to see the extra €25 really does make a difference. The warm welcome was genuine. The room was extremely clean and did not smell of smoke. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. And the ensuite toilet and shower all definitely made the extra cost worthwhile. Sometimes...
Not a wonderful Hotel but served our needs for a Hotel adjacent to the autobahn exactly.
Change of Etap hotel to Ibis budget is great. Rooms are more comfortable. For example no plastic shower-toilet cabin with anymore. Now the toilet is separated from the rest. Furnishings are also nicer. Quiet room and breakfast was also ok. Kind person at the reception desk. Acces to highway very easy. I can really advise this hotel.
My wife compared this hotel to her dorm room in college. But it had a shower in the room and a toilet in the closet. Internet worked well and it was good for a stop on our way to a 4x4 event. We would have had issues if we would have been towing the jeep only one pull thru area that was already taken when we got there. Right across from an ADAC center.
Stayed at this hotel before when it was an Etap. This hotel is always clean and comfortable, but remember it is lo cost. Breakfast's are expensive but there is a McDonalds about 10min walk down the road. Only criticism is that there should be a kettle in the rooms.

Cheap but OK Contrary to previous reviews, the hotel is OK, especially for the price. The room is small and the bathroom is compact as well, yes, but they are definately enough. Very practical and efficient stay, we had the family room and reserved parking spot in advance. Quick check in and check out prices, elevator available if you have heavy bags, etc.
Excellent for one night stop over. Ask for a quiet room away from the lift. Close to city centre and 3 minutes to the main station. Helpful staff. Very clean.
For a night it was acceptable. My bathroom had no toilet rolls and the room was pretty dusty. If you face a similar problem, go ahead and ask for service.
The hotel has a great location, super close to the train station, and the staff were very friendly and helpful (they stored our luggage for free!). However, our room had a strong smell of smoke, possibly from the bathroom or window. Also, it was a bit noisy at night, which also made sleeping difficult.
We had a great stay here. The room was spacious enough for 4 people. Excellent location—close to the train station and within walking distance to the city center.

Location is great. room size good although quite basic (though clean). First impression was Let down by having to walk up 3 flights of stairs and the red carpet needs to be replaced. In the absence of a lift the staff insisted they carried our cases down the stairs as we left the next morning.
Great spot. Sort of a self serve hotel. Staff there each morning to clean and restock. Very nice people. Just don't expect to go down there in the afternoon or evening for a extra roll of toilet paper. The room was great. Very clean, room to spread out. Perfectly locAted. Walk to everything.

It's a moderate hotel. You've got all you need. A bed, a shower and breakfast for a little extra money and for 48€ a night I think it's all right. The rooms are clean but very simple in terms of furniture. The house and hallways are rather old and less hotel like. But as I said before. For that prize you can't really expect a lot more. The staff is very nice and exerted though.

The B&B Hotel Aachen-Hbf is a budget-friendly hotel conveniently located near Aachen's main train station. It offers modern, clean rooms with free WiFi and is praised for its helpful staff. The hotel provides good value for money, although some amenities like breakfast and parking may not be available. It's a solid choice for travelers seeking affordable and central accommodation in Aachen.
There is a chinese / asian receptionist that attended to us around 8pm on 18 Dec when we were checking in. We thought he was particularly rude in his expressions and sentences and has a condescending tone. In addition there is no complimentary water being provided which is usually provided by other hotels.
Very budget friendly option in Aachen. Rooms are clean and spacious. Booked a family size room with one double and one single bed. Paid Parking available along with hotel with easy access.
Walking distance to the main train station. There are restaurants nearby. 15 minute walk to the Dom. Don‘t expect luxury for this price. Recommended for those who are always out and about.
Nice place, really close to the main station. The room is a bit small, for one person is not a issue, but maybe for two it will be too tight. Room is very clean, but a bit dark. Bathroom is really small, almost a bit uncomfortable.
