Excellent. Clean. Excellent overnight conditions. Powerful beds. Mattresses with mattress pads. Snow-white bed linen made of good fabric. New plumbing. Comfortable shower. Pleasant and easy-to-rinse chemicals. High-quality accessories. Fresh smell both in the halls and in the rooms. Excellent breakfast. Many types of cheese and sausage. Can be cooked to order. Lots of sauces. Fruit. Wine. Desserts. And many interesting morning trifles. The interior in the halls and floors is well thought out and close to home. There is a bar. The staff is not intrusive. The design is lightning fast and friendly. My personal rating based on studying more than 350 hotels is hotel #2. After one of the Dresden hotels. Many 5-star hotels do not reach the level of thoughtfulness of this one. At two o'clock in the morning I wanted an apple. They brought it to me. They did not take money. There was no room in the bar, so they brought everything to the library.

Excellent hotel, great breakfast. Clean room. Highly recommend. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. But the best hotel in Augsburg, in the very center of the city, worth it.

This hotel is awesome!! Old world service with new world amenities. You definitely get a good value for the price. Incredible location with great access to shopping and restaurants as well as a great breakfast. 10/10 recommend in you’re in Augsburg!

Fantastic location right in the middle of the Main Street but not noisy at all. Beautiful lobby, excellent reception staff, and comfortable, clean rooms. This was a great stay - so many restaurants nearby, lots of shopping opportunities, as well as close to the tourist information office that gives an excellent English tour.

Great hotel. We had a corner room - very spacious with a huge bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Location is excellent, ideally placed for all that Augsburg has to offer.

Still currently staying here but felt compelled to review ahead of time. Whilst on paper this may seem like a 5 star hotel, it completely lacks AC / Air Conditioning. They have a very rudimentary dial and button panel which allows you to turn from unspecified temperature to another and “fan speed” from off to 3. However after leaving it on for several hours whilst out for dinner there was simply no effect at all (it was 28c today). Whilst the staff were helpful up to a point, it became very clear that there is an unwavering policy of “ecological” restrictions on their cooling system. We got one oscillating fan to help and asked for an additional but were firmly told the hotel no longer has any other fans (which for a hotel with 132 rooms I find hard to believe).
I understand that in this region of Europe there is an almost maniacal level of greenwashing, however I don’t think it’s fair to advertise your property to have amenities which simply don’t exist.

Excellent hotel. There is construction going on near the parking lot, so use the hotel as your destination on Google Maps and not the parking lot itself. However, when I called the reception for help, they kindly explained me how I could park my car.
The hotel is very well located, there are plenty of restaurants nearby (and the hotel has one as well), and you’re within walking distance to the main attractions.
The hotel is very sober and clean. Our room was also very comfortable, spacious and had great toiletries.
The hotel buffet only goes until 10h30 and you’re reminded of that even if you arrive at 10h10, and the choice could be better, namely for fruits and cakes/pastries, but it’s ok.
