Good layout and room is quite spacious. I was on a business trip, the location was convenient for me to travel around the town

Location is very near main stations, however the surroundings are abit dangerous as we saw many ******** within 200m radius from the hotel.

Amazing breakfast and warm hospitality. I will reserve it once again when visit Munich next time.

The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have tried! Great location that is near to the train station as well as walking distance to the Old Town.

This definitely does not feel like a 5 star hotel at all and I would not recommend it. The room was spacious but no division so all sleeping in a big space. When we arrive the pull out bed looked broken and we had to attempt to fix it ourselves. There are no channels in English, no way to watch movies- which seems ridiculous for a 5 star international hotel chain. The sound proofing isn’t great and you can hear people walking and talking in the hallway. The balcony door does not open due to a chain. Our shower overflowed after a few minutes use because it didn’t drain properly. Our room was not cleaned adequately (there was old food under the rug and on two days our old glasses weren’t removed and rubbish not emptied). House keeping also knocked over a decoration we bought and broke it, but no one said anything about it. 1 or 2 of the elevators weren’t working and it’s quite busy, the lobby is always full. The pool closed at 3pm on Christmas Eve (which we weren’t told about), so there is nothing to do (due to no TV in English and nothing open in town). Check in staff were lovely. It is a great location- but the Sofitel is right next door and I’d go for that next time. This is expensive for what it offers- we were very disappointed.

A beautiful and luxurious hotel with an excellent location near the town and marina. However, the staff’s attitude was poor. At check-in, they delayed us for several hours. Despite the official check-in time being 3 PM, the last room wasn’t ready until around 6 PM, leaving us waiting for a long time.

At checkout, they tried to charge me for the room again, despite payment being made upon arrival. They also added breakfast charges I had already paid for. After lengthy discussions, the bills were corrected.

The reception and restaurant staff were unfriendly, and housekeeping was subpar, cleaning late and not properly. No one assisted with carrying luggage to the rooms upon arrival or departure, which was very disappointing. Double-check bills and services before leaving.

Stayed a few days with family (2 adults + 1 child).

Good:
Location is right across from Hbf and walkable to Munich Old Town. A little noisy at night.
Room was great - I used an upgrade as a Marriott member and had the large corner room, which is very comfortable.
Room is clean - no complaints here, everything works as it should, there are enough towels, and everything is spotless.
Breakfast is pretty standard business hotel breakfast, no complaints again.

Not good:
Took forever to get room ready. I kept getting promised a room, and eventually has to really get pushy at the reception, upon which my room magically was available. They keep telling me room will be ready soon and I'll be informed by the app, but just go ask at the counter.
No lounge in a business hotel? Didn't get any LM compensation too for no lounge access.
Absolutely small gym with way too few machines. At 6am, every cardio station was occupied!

Conclusion:
Can say its a good value place, but waiting for the rooms are a real issue - the staff just keeps saying the app will inform when in fact sometimes the room is ready and the app doesn't show it.
I won't return to stay here, and that's purely because as a tourist, there are better locations to stay at.

I really wanted to love this hotel, but in the end it was simply average.

Our check in experience was great. Early room access, thoughtful service.

Breakfast is good to very good. The space is just ok, but the food mix was good.

Our room was located on the top level of the hotel (a standard “deluxe” room). Perhaps for this reason, we had issues with hotel WiFi and some issues with temp control. The beds were pretty average. The bathroom was excellent, modern shower and fixtures and really good lighting. Overall, however, room lighting was poor. Half the hotel faces the train station; we did not directly face the station and did not notice any train noise. So, location proves to be excellent without a detractor.

The biggest issue here was an elevator service problem our day of arrival. Only 1 of 3 elevators was in service for most of the day and night. This improved to 2 of 3 by day 2, but still represented an annoying inconvenience. This should be a temporary issue.

Location of hotel is across the train station, but quite a distance from the city center. Rooms and amenities were good.
16.12.2024
The absolutely worst hotel experience in my life (40, travel a lot). Had a two room suite, which was OK, a little old and run down but fine for the rates. First night the shower overflows and doesn't drain. No issue, contact maintenance, they said no problem. Next night come back shower overflows, floods room. Next night come home at 9pm from Christmas Markets, someone (?housekeeping?) opened all 5 window/doors in the room. It's 0C/32f outside and in our room. Call front desk who sends maintenance because the heat doesn't work well who cleans filters and does what he can to make the insufficient heat work better. Room never got above 15C/60F all night. My poor 5/7 year old children froze all night. Contacted afterwards and spoke with Anastassia who never responded. Stay away.
