Very outdated and overpriced. The hotel is clean and in a good location. The staff was inattentive and the service (check-in, breakfast etc.) was poor. Parking was expensive (1euro/hour) and breakfast quality was very poor for 19 euro / person. I would stay somewhere else next time.

This place is a paradise on earth! The staff were amazing willing to make all your wishes come true, in all languages! The elegant rooms were spectacular. The location was ideal for relaxation. If you want more going on, stay over the weekend as there is more happenings then.

The hotel is located in a park by the river with a beautiful environment. It is next to the hot springs and is within a 10-minute walk to the city center, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is rich.

Some of the areas seem dated but the rooms are fairly modern. The single rooms are small (with the bathroom in the room) but comfortable enough for a short stay. Nice and spacious rooms but they are not fully soundproof. However, the main problem was that there was practically no internet connection! None of the WLAN they provided worked even for a simple search.

We just stopped through Rüdesheim on our way up north, but I'm so glad we did, because the town and hotel unexpectedly turned out to be one of the high points of our trip. This hotel was a unbelievable surprise as our family was walking along the famous Rheinsteig trail. The hotel and restaurant service were the best we have had in Germany in 10 years living here. A beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. Staff were friendly. It’s a bit on the expensive side for us Brits at the moment. We ordered the local Wild Boar Golash with pasta and it was amazing. Only gripe was the price of two lemonades and orange juices which cost €19.00. But after the walk from Rudesheim it kind of seemed worth it.

An interesting historical landmark turned into a nice looking hotel

Breakfast was great. Eggs were a little bit over cooked, but the selection at the buffet is awesome. The best Room is number 24 the view is incredible. Parking spots are rare in front of the Hotel, however further up the road is plenty of parking. Overall the Restaurant and Hotel is a Great combination. We met our family from Germany in this lovely hotel. It was spotlessly clean, a beautiful room with even a choice of an orthopaedic pillow which ensured that I slept well with my old neck. I stayed with my young family of 4 for one night on our road trip down to Tuscany. What a unique experience to stay in such a wonderful castle. We loved the food especially the spaghetti. I’m very satisfied. Clean and nice. Roomy. And I got it for a good price, because I was booking with trip. So all good! Location: very close to decathlon, shopping area, there’s mcdonald across from the hotel. But the hotel itself is surrounded by trees and there’s a green area. The room is relatively new and cost-effective, but also small. After checking in, we found out that many rooms on the first floor were being renovated, so we had to go through the renovated rooms to get to our room. There was no kettle.

Since I had carry up heavy luggages by steps from ground to the 1st floor and another steep steps ffom the highest floor for the lift on the 3rd floor to upper floor where the room was located, I twisted and injured my knee. My Wiesbaden-based employer chose this hotel for me, for a recent (January 2025) stay for business meetings and I loved it! For most US-travelers, you may find the rooms a bit small but honestly, it's the perfect size with the perfect combinations of offerings (your own single-serve latte/espresso machine, large screen, extremely comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities, etc.). I still remember the very welcoming staff! The Golden Age of Hollywood theme worked well, subtle and classy, not gaudy, just right. High ceilings, huge bathroom, all the modern amenities, comfortable bed. Clean, fresh, quiet. Overall very good feel. And the breakfast was very good too. One nice surprise was that the fully stocked minibar drinks and snacks were all complimentary.

Wiesbaden must stay The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room to a junior suite without us asking! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant. They offer a nice variety of food and our meal was delicious.

My partner and I stayed at the Oranien for 3 days while visiting Wiesbaden. Check-in was smooth and staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our first room smelled of cigarettes – staff quickly resolved the issue, upgrading and moving us to a new room. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk from many attractions, and a quick Uber from the train station. We will definitely stay here again...
