I love visiting Germany, even if it's for only a few days like this recent visit. Wiesbaden was my city of choice this time and Radisson Blu Schwatzer Bock was my hotel of choice. Both were great decisions. Wiesbaden is a nice and surprisingly quiet city and this hotel was perfect for my stay in town.
The front desk staff was super helpful in accommodating me with an early check-in... I mean a super early check-in. The room was clean and in good order. The location was perfect for checking out the whole area on foot. Overall, my stay has been great and this hotel has checked all my boxes and is one that I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Wiesbaden.

Little dated and elevation were old but breakfast was very good and very centrally located to the old town and walking section of town

I was looking forward to enjoying the wellness area, but I was told it was not open today. The safe in the room is not working.

Have been many times there on different occasions; can’t review the room, but the rest is absolutely fine. Marvelous ancient building inside with old charm.

Clean facilities and very nice staff. They forgot to make our beds so they gave us an upgrade👍. The breakfast is average. I recommend not getting the breakfast included.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms though a bit outdated (e.g., lack of USB ports, slow internet, open circuitboard underneath an defunct phone).
BUT: You just can't beat the location. You are basically in the heart of Wiesbaden. Their team was very friendly and the breakfast option was excellent.
Parking is a pain though but that applies to all of Wiesbaden. They don't have their ownparking garage, instead you have to go to a public one nearby. So drop your bags first at the reception and then park your car.
Anyway, 10/10 would come again.

Some staff members are very nice and some could be nicer. Food is nice but could be even better. I love the location and the old building, the room was very nice yet some things could do with better maintenance.

Oldest hotel building in Europe, restored and modernised with a neo classic look remaining true to its character and origins as a former bath house. Chose this hotel because of value vs the room and bathroom size as well as for its super central location, easy walking distance to everything with a taxi stand right outside. Our deluxe room had a unique lateral shape with a dressing area and 4 French balcony windows plus another in the bathroom. There is a quaint courtyard, a nice breakfast room and a modern bar area. The spa however was under renovation. Service and check in were somewhat slower than what we are used to, but it didn't impact the experience as we were not in a hurry. Would stay there again.

Location, location, location... and Schwarzer Bock has oodles of it! It may be one of the old great hotels, or -rather- it probably was. It all feels a bit dated now. The room was clean enough, but could do with an upgrade. There's the normal amenities (coffee, bottled water, safe) and soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was very decent, with the possibility of sitting outside in the courtyard on warm mornings. Service was good (unless you catch the reception staff on a smoke-break, in which case you may need to wait a couple of minutes!). Didn't try the spa (as was told there was an extra charge, now that it's not technically owned by the hotel) nor the bar (was already well entrenched elsewhere by 6pm when it opened!). All in all a decent enough hotel but 4 stars? Not so sure...

This place was awesome in every way. Location was ideal and the workers were super nice!!! Def will suggest this! Room was nice and clean. Room service cleaned consistently .
