Good hotel, arrived late so only got touse the spa for 15minutes. Also the hotel bar was shut all evening (Tuesday) Luckily restaurant outside was open. Fancied Italian food but that restaurant was closed for a private function. AH Well, next time

I cannot say good enough things about the Esplanade Resort. I came for the second time and had an outstanding and very restful time there for 8 nights. The Esplanade is located near a beautiful sea, allowing for wonderful walks and the visit of several restaurants nearby. It also has excellent state-of-the-art facilities and light-filled, friendly rooms. The breakfast options are fantastic, and so is the Spa. It has a warm, cozy ambiance and a variety of different saunas, as well as excellent services. But what makes the Esplanade genuinely remarkable compared to other four-star hotels is the exceptional service quality they offer. Although it is a relatively large house with many guests, the staff is very kind and accommodating and really goes out of their way when there is a need for help. Ms. Werner, the spa director, does an excellent and very proactive job of supporting guests with special interests in activities or treatments, and the whole team behind her seems happy and passionate about their work and very personable. The Esplanade creates a wonderful experience not just through its "hardware" in terms of buildings and rooms but also its "software" - its people, leading to an experience of ease, flow, and warm hospitality for the guests. I recommend it further 100%

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend.
+The hotel is located right next to the lake and easy to reach from Berlin (Public transportation)
+ The room is decent with floor heating in the bathroom.
+ The service is polite and friendly. We didn't mention it's my birthday except for filling the form with this info upon check in, and on my birthday, they gave me a sparkling wine as a gift. ✨️🍾 How considerate!!
+ The breakfast is nice, e.g. with fresh orange juice, an "egg station" where a staff cooks upon your request, many bread options, hot food.
+ Great wellness facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, outdoor warm swimming pool, more than 5 different saunas, Ruheraum, and some programs here and there.
+ I can definitely recommend to stay here. Even better, 3 nights.
+ The fresh waffel in the wellness area was tasty and good price.
- In our bathroom there are many ladybugs...one even landed on my hand :( it's not dangerous and not a big deal, but it's still an inconvenience to mention.
- Even though you're not supposed to save a seat in the Ruheraum with your towel, some people still do that. So it's hard to get to rest inside with some empty lying seats. It'd be better if the staff could do a regular check and remove them so everyone gets to enjoy it. 😉

Went there after a stressful month (December) for a night. It was perfect to unwind close to the city Berlin and get back fresh to work, the installations are great with different relaxing opportunities such as thermal waters, jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna, and others. Its also in front of the lake which is great for night walks, went there on a friday and there was even a lakefront bar open with nice music and drinks going on. Breakfast was nice with different options. The only but was that our shower leaked water underneath as there is nothing to stop the flow... strange design, apart from that it was perfect! The drunk piano bar was also cool for a drunkie night hehe

We recently stayed at the Hotel Esplanade Resort & Spa and felt that we were treated differently because we booked through a third-party website instead of directly with the hotel.
We arrived two hours before check-in and wanted to spend the waiting time in the spa, which we regularly do on short trips. However, we were told that we would have to pay extra for these two hours since we didn't book directly with the hotel. During our stay, we were repeatedly informed that this wouldn't have been an issue if we had booked directly. It almost felt like we were being penalized for booking through a third-party site, which made me wonder why they list their hotel there at all.
Another issue arose when we rented bicycles. One employee initially told us that the usage was free, so we went for a short bike ride. When we returned, however, another employee informed us that the bikes were only free for direct bookings. We were charged 60 euros for two bikes for about two hours. After explaining the situation, we managed to negotiate the price down to 30 euros, but it was still an unpleasant surprise. We wouldn't have taken the bikes if we had been informed of the cost, especially since we were misinformed by their own staff.
On the positive side, the spa staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was tasty, although the restaurant was quite crowded. We had to ask for coffee three times, but this seemed more due to staff overload than a lack of service.
Overall, our stay was fine, but the constant reminders about our booking method and unexpected costs left a bitter aftertaste. If you plan to stay here, I would strongly recommend booking directly with the hotel to avoid the issues we encountered.

Pros: the spa facilities were great and the massage was amazing.
