Great Hotel, very clean and tidy. Good Breakfast, particularly popular are the egg salad and the honey. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi worked almost at all, in the present time (and in the already poor network in the Saxon Switzerland). Apart from that, I can recommend the Hotel without reservation.

The room was nice and bright. We had skylights over our bed. It was a bit loud the first night due to a rowdy wedding but overall pretty relaxed. Breakfast was great, everything you'd expect at a German breakfast from the nice breads meat and cheeses to birchermüsli, jams, eggs, etc. Their restaurant was closed but the restaurant zur Eich was a 3 minute walk away. Very close to the Elba and ferry.

The Erbgericht in Krippen is a very nice village-like embossed guest house with Hotel and nice amenities. The offers also include Wellness packages, which we have not taken yet. Really good food and very attentive service. Difficult to get into in these Corona times. One of the few restaurants to serve Krusovice beer, which is excellent.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but otherwise a very clean, comfy and welcoming place. The breakfast offers a huge choice and the dinner is very tasty although a tad expensive. We really liked option to book a private sauna.

Rooms are not super modern, but service and people working there are very welcoming, specially when you arrive late and would like something to eat. And they serve delicious food! Located close by the road but it is not distracting for the night sleep. Small cozy river can be heard from the room and the wind in the trees.

It is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. They have a variety of dishes you can choose from and they taste amazing. The rooms are cozy and bright. They all have balconies.

The property is immaculately maintained, comfortable, airy and spacious and has everything you would need away from home.

A bit of an old internal design, but everything was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was rich.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Wonderful views. The staff are beyond friendly and professional. The rooms are tip-top and Jessica is the most beautiful woman in all of Germany. This is the place to choose for a short stay or a long stay. If we ever come back to Bad Schandau we would 100% stay here again.

Room was okay and had a bath (The Walkers Delight). Breakfast was fine. Dinner menu was a bit basic and waiter wasn't very helpful with our lack of German. Nice terrace for a beer, which was the usual selection for the area. Would it kill them to get a few IPAs in 😉

The food was excellent! The service was great. I had a great meal and really enjoyed it. I can really recommend the house made schnapps. As soon as they noticed I was not German, they gave me an English menu. One small minor detail, the number of tables outside is limits.

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. Breakfast is not so abundant, and no fresh jams, but only grabbed. Bake brötschen. The Hotel is also a "little" years. Board games and play in the afternoon in the restaurant area. There is the possibility of the Erzgebirge art is buy-in at the Hotel.

A bit overpriced for what it's worth but the panorama is indeed lovely. The climb up from the ferry is absolute murder, avoid if possible.

I was there with my son for a weekend last summer. The staff is super nice, very helpful (I am blind) and on request also tips on excursions, hiking trails and so on. The hotel is very clean and the food tastes delicious too. Even a massage we could treat ourselves on Sunday, which was very relaxing. Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

We had an outstanding weekend at hotel Steiger in sebnitz. The staff was friendly and helpful, the spa was very clean an beautiful with lots of pretty details and a steamroom. The breakfast buffet was Plenty, with ordinary, various food like little omlettes and "Arme Ritter". We would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Very nice Hotel, the to-be-missed his claim to be a Small Grand hotel, however, clear. Of note is the new and very beautiful Spa. Otherwise, there is a lot of Kitsch and frills. The food is mediocre. For the offered prices are too high overall.
