Great Hotel, very clean and tidy. Good Breakfast, particularly popular are the egg salad and the honey. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi worked almost at all, in the present time (and in the already poor network in the Saxon Switzerland). Apart from that, I can recommend the Hotel without reservation.

Everyone was so incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially for a travel-weary family arriving very late. Although it was only a one-night stay, everything was wonderful. Staff went out of their way to help us.

The room was nice, clean, and large. The bathroom was large too, with plenty of room for both of us to get ready at the same time and to move around freely. We had a large window that looked out onto the forest across the Elbe - a lovely and soothing view. One night we ate in the restaurant, and the food was delicious (gnocchi in a light tomato sauce; pig cheeks with small long dumplings in wine sauce...

Rooms are a bit outdated, but otherwise a very clean, comfy and welcoming place. The breakfast offers a huge choice and the dinner is very tasty although a tad expensive. We really liked option to book a private sauna.

The restaurant on site has a lot’s of menu options even vegetarian, foods are great and staffs are very friendly and nice. The location is very good for hiking Saxon Switzerland area on foot. Also this hotel gave me a guest ticket to get on tram & buses free.

It is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. They have a variety of dishes you can choose from and they taste amazing. The rooms are cozy and bright. They all have balconies.

Cozy place, decent food for friendly price

Great place for dinner, they even have an English translation of the menu. The food was really delicious for a good price. The pork tongue was really delicious, the pork steak with mushrooms was also delicious. I highly recommend this place. Also the atmosphere inside is very nice and the waiters are kind.

Great food great ambience! But the bowling alley was a little noisy from the restaurant area, I guess that can’t be helped. It is still cool that they manage to fit 3 bowling alleys in there!

Very beautiful and idyllic accommodation with a great breakfast and very friendly staff. The balcony/bay window was especially great; you could sit outside for a long time in the evenings. Thank you for the lovely days.

The guesthouse is very quiet and a great starting point for many hikes. Parking is very easy thanks to its own free parking lot. The staff are very friendly. You have to get used to the creaking wooden floor, and unfortunately, you have to let the water run for a while before it gets warm.

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. The room was big enough to hold 2 people and luggage comfortably and even had a small balcony for two. Wifi was mostly ok. Like a youth hostel, but within a huge building existing since the fourteenth century. Excellent views and all doors are open, to the castle garden, the tower and the historic museum. Prices are very reasonable. Four people one might with buffet breakfast and dinner 132 EUR. Including bed linen. All very well organised, clean and spacious. Beautiful town with great hiking routes. Castle is nice and well maintained, but is a functioning hotel and youth camp, so many areas are private. I imagine starting as a guest is quite an experience though.

Absolutely fantastic place. Magnificent hilltop citadel in the midst of a charming medieval village with beautiful distant mountain views. ReallyRecommended for a daytrip if you're visiting Dresden.

Went for dinner there. Got Gulasch and Apfelstrudel both were extraordinary. Service was good. Would definitely recommend and we will visit next time when we go to Hohnstein. Location is great too,right opposite to Burg Hohnstein.

The staff was very kind. The service was very good. I enjoyed breakfast and also dinner. They have a very nice terrace. I had a room on the top floor of the hotel. It was next to the church tower. The clocks started to make noise early in the morning.

Location is in the center of the little town, place is beautiful almost at the entrance of the castle but the food is not delicious, below average 👎

The rooms were comfortable, but can be improved. The staff was very unfriendly and the restaurant was supposed to be open at 15:00, but I couldn't find anyone there. Go somewhere else if you can.

Simply recommendable: the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are relatively new. I don't really need more on a hiking holiday. The breakfast is definitely outstanding, which we did not expect here. The staff is very friendly and the boss is happy to help all hikers with tour planning after breakfast. The location is also really suitable for the region for 4-5 very cool day tours directly from the hotel...

Comfortable rooms, cosy little self-service bar and a delicious breakfast buffet. Furthermore, it lies at the town's central market, so there are dozens of restaurants just outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful: if you ask, they'll happily help you planning your stay in Stadt Wehlen!

Great Spa. Watch out though, it appears to be closed on Sundays. Decent breakfast, rooms were clean. Right opposite the historic elevator which is a great place to take in the golden hour with a nice beverage 🥂

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

Hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful, spacious garden, pool and located directly on the Elbe.

I was there with my son for a weekend last summer. The staff is super nice, very helpful (I am blind) and on request also tips on excursions, hiking trails and so on. The hotel is very clean and the food tastes delicious too. Even a massage we could treat ourselves on Sunday, which was very relaxing. We can only recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

Beauty area was too nice. We had a pure romance arrangement, which I highly recommend. We had an outstanding weekend at hotel Steiger in sebnitz. The staff was friendly and helpful, the spa was very clean an beautiful with lots of pretty details and a steamroom. The breakfast buffet was Plenty, with ordinary, various food like little omlettes and "Arme Ritter". We would stay at this hotel again for sure.

We were over the weekend in Sebnitz. The Hotel is situated in the heart of the city on the market. The paid Parking on the market is on Fridays from 18 clock, free of charge, until Monday morning you will have to pay again. Thus, we had no Problem with it. Great rooms, each decorated according to a theme. We were in London. It was a pity that the Spa is only 14 years.

Very nice Hotel, the to-be-missed his claim to be a Small Grand hotel, however, clear. Of note is the new and very beautiful Spa. Otherwise, there is a lot of Kitsch and frills. The food is mediocre. For the offered prices are too high overall.
