Great room, staff very attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, food is not my thing. But everyone should form their own judgment.

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Only the church tower is a bit annoying. But earplugs can help. The parking spaces are too small for today's cars. Due to Corona, you have to be prepared for some measures (gloves at breakfast, etc.). Unfortunately, there is also shift work at breakfast and dinner, which limits flexibility. A family run place where people are heartily welcome. A good choice of meat but try their typical plates . We all had hirsch and it was really yummy with cranberries and a sort of pasta as side dish. Good choice of dessert but the best was the apple pie.

I worked in the kitchen for a year at the Birkenhof with the Sieber family. Mr. and Mrs. Sieber are very social, nice and competent bosses. The Birkenhof has been beautifully renovated for people with disabilities. I felt like family. I really enjoyed the work. I like to think back to that time. We spent 3 vacations at their place very quiet is very clean half board is the morning buffet a dream the bosses take care of their customers is very warm we lacked nothing but since this year more than very good apartments furnished with breakfast or not to choose if not nothing to say it's great at their place we will go back it's too great

I liked it very much, the Hotel and rooms are very well maintained, it is as far as I could tell everything is barrier-free with Elevator in the house. The Local conditions are good to reach by foot. The Service was absolutely Super. Very attentive and friendly.

An inexpensive and very decent hotel The hotel owner gave us a very warm welcome and offered us a very nice room, small but pleasant! The people running that hotel are super sweet, asking for special wishes depending the food. For us a practical, cheap possibility for an overnight stay while riding the Schwarzwaldradweg by bike.

We stayed for two nights. Great quiet location off the main road but still rather central. Dog friendly. A nice breakfast selection. Dinner was good value. Rooms were perfectly comfortable. Parking can be a challenge but there is plenty of additional places in the surrounding streets. The family owners were wonderful and very helpful.

Went here on a Sunday four to eat here. The food was really excellent. From salad with turkey breast over Schnitzel and the house plate. Luscious portions at reasonable prices. The meat was absolutely on the spot. Very good quality. Rustic decor and good home cooking. Absolute recommendation.

We went there for the first time after a recommendation. We were surprised. The interior is very cozy. Anyone who prefers good home cooking is in good hands here. Lovely little hotel in Freudenstadt. Could have received a bit of a warmer welcome when we arrived a little too early, but to be honest the lady did redeem herself later on. Room was very nice with views over the grounds. Lovely big shower room, one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of pastry choices but was acceptable.

Hotel was very clean, staff were accommodating and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent for a small hotel and everything very fresh. Parking is a bit difficult but we found that if you drove around a bit, street parking could be found at no cost. Very good location just around the corner from the main square.

This my favorite place to stay in Germany. The food is outstanding, restaurant closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but if you are there any other day, you must try it. Updated bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Top of the line linens. Staff is wonderful.

Nice place for a few nights. Varied continental breakfast. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was facing the main street so it was noisy. Room was very clean and smelt good. The shower screen door was broken but a very clean bathroom. Nice staff. Good central location

Can't beat the location. Room wasn't cleaned when we walked in our room. After one hour it was ok. Breakfast ok, Coffee quality left for much improvement.

Although located outside of the town, it is a pretty walkable distance to the town centre (Less than 20 mins depending on how fast you walk) but do note that it's not flat. Hotel Teuchelwald is a wonderful place to stay. It is built on a Hill with greeny Parks and flowers. It has a hot swimming pool. An excellent Kirchen and bar with the best rooms. Perfect place to stay in Freudenstadt.

Lovely traditional German hotel in the suburbs of Freudenstadt. It had a bath with shower over, which was slippery and rather outdated nowadays. Good underground parking. Large, spacious bedroom - very quiet and comfortable. Excellent fresh breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, plus a nice free indoor swimming pool. Good value too at around €85 for two including breakfast. I'd be happy to stay here...

It was a wonderful and very relaxing stay with very very friendly staff. The bathrooms are somewhat outdated, but clean and well maintained. We will definitely make again there on vacation.

Situated out of town this is a cheap and cheerful little german hotel. The staff were lovely. They spoke little english but you know what, You're in Germany, get over it and around it. Nice, clean and affordable hotel specially if you get an offer of 2 rooms together. However, WiFi was only available in the reception not inside rooms. It is nice if somebody wants to stay in the middle of the black forest away from noisy cities but it can also feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. However, the nearest town Freudenstadt is not too far.

In a calm and quiet location, ideally to relax from the city noise with very good complimentary breakfast. The rooms are big and modest, with courteous service.

We had room #7 with the huge balcony displayed in the picture. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet during the night. The breakfast was decent, including scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a variety of cold cuts, three types of bread, plain yogurt and strawberry yogurt, some cereal, orange juice, grape juice, a variety of tee, coffee, and probably a few more things that I forgot...

We stayed at the Hotel Hirsch for a half-board weekend at the beginning of November. It's a shame that you can't find warm Black Forest hospitality in the time-honored Hirsch. Most of the staff are friendly, but they can also be unfriendly - we were always unlucky at coffee time. The charm of the furnishings - from rustic to 80s modernization, which is already getting old - well. The food is solid...

All in all, Good. Very nice and courteous staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. When you eat, there is something for every taste, freshly prepared and super tasty.

As a Biker on the black forest Panorama cycle path we were greeted friendly, the rooms are quite good and offer the usual harassment. It was nice that the bikes were housed in a closed Garage! The Breakfast was in order, only the scrambled eggs we have missed! It would lead to an opportunity, I would go again!
