Nice and peaceful hotel in northern black forest. Perfect place to hide from stressful city life. I did try their lumi lumi massage it was heavenly. They served a great dinner too! The staffs are helpful and very friendly. It's really a great place to spend your relaxing time.

A very well maintained and family-run Hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The Spa area and the Indoor/outdoor pools were in very good condition and appealing. Breakfast and dinner excellent. The process of booking, through scheduling, for applications to the Service were professional and structured. For the third year I have come to the Heselbacher Hof for days of relaxation and wonderful food. The hiking path go in all directions and bring me back to a gourmet meal at the end of the day. Nice hotel & spa, situeted in a calm location directely by the principal road and the National park. They have good kitchen, and good massage and beauty treatment options. Staff is nice, quick and reachable all the time. We enjoyed our stay 😁

Wonderful, relaxing hotel with outstanding spa/pool area. Fabulous Michelin 2 star restaurant on property. Would recommend a room on river side since street noise can be loud. Also there is no AC, so below the third floor will be cooler.

Hotel Sackmann has one of the most famous and one of the best Restaurants in Germany. Very plush and lovely dining room, premium choice of dishes, tasty, natural. 3 Menues, Artfully prepared, fish options, vegetarian options, excellent wines, perfect service. This restaurant really deserves the international praise.

Nice family hotel with very good service and friendly staff. Although the ambience is a bit old, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was extensive and tasty, and special requests were also catered for. We were given good tips on how to spend our free time, which greatly enriched the holiday. Nice hotel in a quiet location. Only the church tower is a bit annoying. But earplugs can help. The parking spaces are too small for today's cars. Due to Corona, you have to be prepared for some measures (gloves at breakfast, etc.). Unfortunately, there is also shift work at breakfast and dinner, which limits flexibility. I worked in the kitchen for a year at the Birkenhof with the Sieber family. Mr. and Mrs. Sieber are very social, nice and competent bosses. The Birkenhof has been beautifully renovated for people with disabilities. I felt like family. I really enjoyed the work. I like to think back to that time. We spent 3 vacations at their place very quiet is very clean half board is the morning buffet a dream the bosses take care of their customers is very warm we lacked nothing but since this year more than very good apartments furnished with breakfast or not to choose if not nothing to say it's great at their place we will go back it's too great

I liked it very much, the Hotel and rooms are very well maintained, it is as far as I could tell everything is barrier-free with Elevator in the house. The Local conditions are good to reach by foot. The Service was absolutely Super. Very attentive and friendly.

The food was very delicious, the atmosphere was very calm and beautifully decorated. Their dessert was amazing and on top of everything, they had the friendliest and sweetest staff.

Absolutely no 4 stars worth it for the following reasons - does not have the ability to eat outside because of the busy road along the terrace - all the staff not as friendly - limited choice a la carte - 3 days campari orange order, the third day, we were suddenly instead of 1 pitcher of orange juice per person but 1 pot for 2 people, why??? - gloomy interior

A family run place where people are heartily welcome. A good choice of meat but try their typical plates . We all had hirsch and it was really yummy with cranberries and a sort of pasta as side dish. Good choice of dessert but the best was the apple pie.

We went there with a big group of bikers. The have been incredibly well received. All the staff is very welcoming, nice and smiling. The room are large. The swimming pool great and correctly heated. Any time again. A big thank you to the staff!

Fantastic one-night stay at this lovely little hotel. The owners and staff were lovely and welcoming, and the restaurant had vegan options for dinner which were very nice, and the staff even organised some special vegan items for breakfast for us! Absolutely lovely place - highly recommended!

Attended a wedding/reception here, and everyone on staff was quite pleasant and the hotel was nice.

Very pleasant hotel, very friendly, for the carpet, 1 star deduction. Other: Note, important, if you want dinner and don't have a reservation as a hotel guest, you can't eat here. I didn't know that because it isn't written anywhere either. I arrived at 7:30 p.m., so I had to look around first in the closer area.

We stayed for two nights. Great quiet location off the main road but still rather central. Dog friendly. A nice breakfast selection. Dinner was good value. Rooms were perfectly comfortable. Parking can be a challenge but there is plenty of additional places in the surrounding streets. The family owners were wonderful and very helpful.

We had a great time here! The hotel is really conveniently located. Just a short walk from the station. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The restaurant also serves great food. All in all a great experience.
