Friendly staff, comfortable and up-to-date room, nice food!

Pleasant stay, free parking & fluent English! Upon arrival, we were greeted nicely with all the explanation. I would like to highlight our breakfast experience. Every morning we were greeted nicely by the lovely yet professional lady, who turns out to be the manager. Very smart positioning of the hotel management, which represents the face of the hotel. The staffs work efficiently and are attentive...

Nice place to stay. Wouldn´t use the "restaurant" again - even though the food was tasty there was no menu (which also means you have no idea what the cost will be), only three choices and you had to make an "in the moment decision" when you entered even before you get seated. We were a bit surprised by the final amount charged to our room, but when we asked for a breakdown of the costs at checkout...

This is a real of oasis of fabulous design, music and food, run by a totally committed and very charming team and in a beautiful setting. A great place to wind down.

Great place to stay. The location is perfect; close to the ‘city’ center, but away from the crowds and close to the woods. All staff is very friendly and helpful. The reception/bar is combined with a pretty cozy lounge corner to play a game in the afternoon. Rooms are quite spacious and very clean. Breakfast is also fine; quite some choice. There are two rooms where you can enjoy your morning meal...

One of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed at! Very thoughtfully designed, cozy and relaxing. Great breakfast, outdoor sauna and comfortable areas to work and lounge. Staff are very helpful and polite. This is a perfect spot for a getaway in the mountains. We will definitely come back!

Super good place at a reasonable price. Good food, good rooms and nice staff and then it is nice that you can park your motorcycle in the garage. Nice area if you want to cycle, ride a motorcycle or hike.

Lovely restaurant. Very nice staff. Fast service, great food quality, large portions, low price, beautiful views. I highly recommend restaurants where you can eat well and a lot, spend a nice time and thanks to the employees of this restaurant, your stay in this town becomes even nicer. Clean hotel, beds very comfortable. The breakfasts are large and varied.

Fist time I ever stayed in a place with a 'biker' theme...Even had a soap dispenser shaped like a motorbike in the bathroom!!! That was a nice touch...The surrounding countryside is pleasant enough...

Great place. Small rooms but you don't need much if you are here to go skiing. Bathroom doesn't smell that great but also not horrible. There is free breakfast and the food is great. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Good hotel, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff! Rooms could be slightly larger. Parking space is ample , a supermarket is closed-by! I've to say I though Schierke is technically a part of Wernigerode, it is a 20-30 min drive away from Wernigerode-proper, where the main focus of my stay is. If you don't mind driving to Wernigerode, this is a perfect hotel, and you can start hiking tours directly...

Room was a little dated but very comfortable, as was the bed, breakfast was very enjoyable with a good selection, Hotel was clean and tidy no complaints there.

Breakfast was great. Large selection of food. Rooms were good size and bed comfortable. Pillows were like pancakes, had to use pillows from sofa. Make sure you bring your own wash clothes. If not, you shower with soap and your hand. Check Restaurant in the area for availability. Most of them require reservations. We were turned away at several because we did not have reservations

Brilliant place if you want a quick get away and some gorgeous autumn views. The forest at this time of year looks magical. The food was awesome new chef and new management. The accommodations where pleasant. We could book our own personal cinema for the evening so quite fun. The town near the hotel is very scenic and traditional. I can imagine the whole thing looking beautiful in the snow. Will definitely...

Ohne night getaway. Turned out quite nice! We liked the restaurant and breakfast buffet. The view and restaurant food were the highlights! The room was 70/80s style but clean and cosy.

We really had a wonderful 4 days holiday. Quiet and idyllic location at the foot of the wooded Harz mountains. Incredibly friendly staff. Tasty dinner and breakfast menu was good and was completely renewed. Good parking space. The rooms with balcony have a wonderful view.

Nice hotel and great location. The food was plenty and fine. Wellnees areas with swimminpool and 2 different saunas + steamroom can be recommended. Good and big rooms, but the beds are not that good, I could feel the springs in the matress...

The Hotel could use a new coat of paint, apart from that, the price-performance ratio was right. The Service staff in the Restaurant, you had to ask me if you had ordered what. Otherwise, all very friendly . The children's entertainment was also class. We recommend it more.

In the winter vacation for 5 days. Self-Catering Accommodation. Standard rooms are outdated but very clean. Those who want the renovated rooms can be arranged for a small fee. Swimming pool ideal for children. The sauna area is sufficient. Cheap family holiday is repeated.

The staff is very family friendly. The facilities on site are also very good for a family short vacation. The food is OK. From the taste, we of the selection. You will be just sick of it. The rooms are a few days older, but this is (to the beds), no Problem.

It was our first visit in this hotel. Great location, you can enter National Park from hotel’s property. Breakfast is superb, fresh ingredients and so much choice. One of the best hotel breakfast we have recently. Wealso had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing. The room was very narrow, especially with the bathtub just in the middle so it was hard to walk. Also what was missing was a kettle...

Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Very nice place. Staff was very friendly and tried hard. Breakfast totally rich. Great swimming pool and enjoyed a pleasant massage. Had a nice weekend and will definitely come again.
