Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Our family of six stayed at Haus Katharina for a weekend four weeks ago. The house is modern yet very comfortably furnished. We were lucky that it snowed that weekend, allowing us to go sledding in the fresh snow on the slope behind the house. The evening sauna with a view of the snowy landscape rounded off the whole experience. A very nice time and a beautiful house.

We wouldn't choose any other accommodation but this one again. Absolutely everything is provided, from kitchen utensils and bathing suits to sleds and the like. The only thing that could be improved is a little information on how to use the sauna and the best way to light the fireplace. Otherwise, absolutely perfect, including the location.

The log houses are well equipped and really offer a lot of comfort, the price-performance ratio is okay. In front of the Katharina house, however, the road is currently being completely rebuilt, which means that massive construction noise must be expected every day from 7 a.m. onwards. Hello, we were in Wernigerode for the first time to visit the annual Oktoberfest with friends. The pension is in a very quiet location, but still centrally located so that you can reach the very beautiful city center in a short time on foot. Everything is very clean and the landlords were very nice. We would book the pension again at any time.

Well we have to say it was one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever had. The apartment itself is very well maintained and very well furnished with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Overall, I was happy. The bathroom was new with a large shower. What I was missing were towel rails at the head of the shower, you had to step out of it to dry off. What annoyed me, however, was that my breakfast table, which I had for two days, was suddenly reserved for another gentleman, and I was assigned a cat table with a pillar in front of me. This is a no-go .. and does not work at all ..

We were only here to eat. This was very good. The portions were also absolutely sufficient. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back more often on the next vacation, even if you run out of calories before and after.
