Fantastic location and very characteristic design and concept - every single detail has been paid attention to. Wonderful mountain feeling, great service and an amazing gym! Restaurant is 5* as well.

It was our first visit in this hotel. Great location, you can enter National Park from hotel’s property. Breakfast is superb, fresh ingredients and so much choice. One of the best hotel breakfast we have recently. Wealso had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing. Nice place to stay. Wouldn´t use the "restaurant" again - even though the food was tasty there was no menu (which also means you have no idea what the cost will be), only three choices and you had to make an "in the moment decision" when you entered even before you get seated. We were a bit surprised by the final amount charged to our room, but when we asked for a breakdown of the costs at checkout...

Great place to stay. The location is perfect; close to the ‘city’ center, but away from the crowds and close to the woods. All staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed at! Very thoughtfully designed, cozy and relaxing. Great breakfast, outdoor sauna and comfortable areas to work and lounge. Staff are very helpful and polite. This is a perfect spot for a getaway in the mountains. We will definitely come back!

Good hotel, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff! Rooms could be slightly larger. Parking space is ample , a supermarket is closed-by! I've to say I though Schierke is technically a part of Wernigerode, it is a 20-30 min drive away from Wernigerode-proper, where the main focus of my stay is. If you don't mind driving to Wernigerode, this is a perfect hotel, and you can start hiking tours directly...

Room was a little dated but very comfortable, as was the bed, breakfast was very enjoyable with a good selection, Hotel was clean and tidy no complaints there.

Breakfast was great. Large selection of food. Rooms were good size and bed comfortable. Pillows were like pancakes, had to use pillows from sofa. Make sure you bring your own wash clothes. If not, you shower with soap and your hand. Check Restaurant in the area for availability. Most of them require reservations. We were turned away at several because we did not have reservations

Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Very nice place. Staff was very friendly and tried hard. Breakfast totally rich. Great swimming pool and enjoyed a pleasant massage. Had a nice weekend and will definitely come again.

Price and performance are not quite the same ... A nice hotel in a good location. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great. Only the room was not as nice as you would imagine at 170 € / night. Still recommendable

We stayed at the Hotel Hohenzollern with two families for Walpurgis Night. The hotel staff, especially the two ladies at the front desk, were very, very nice and courteous. We were given valuable tips for the event in town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the wellness area with swimming pool was just great, the breakfast buffet was very extensive and tasty. Super good place at a reasonable price. Good food, good rooms and nice staff and then it is nice that you can park your motorcycle in the garage. Nice area if you want to cycle, ride a motorcycle or hike.

Lovely restaurant. Very nice staff. Fast service, great food quality, large portions, low price, beautiful views. I highly recommend restaurants where you can eat well and a lot, spend a nice time and thanks to the employees of this restaurant, your stay in this town becomes even nicer. Fist time I ever stayed in a place with a 'biker' theme...Even had a soap dispenser shaped like a motorbike in the bathroom!!! That was a nice touch...The surrounding countryside is pleasant enough...

Service ok, Food was too expensive

Great place. Small rooms but you don't need much if you are here to go skiing. Bathroom doesn't smell that great but also not horrible. There is free breakfast and the food is great. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

You have a waiter Marvin. He is very clever to do additional sales :-) We want to reccommend him, because he has this very important skill.

Great hotel. The single room I had was adequate but relatively small. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk away from the town. The staff were excellent and made sure everything within their power was right.

For the price most optimal experience! Everything one wants to wish without much extra services. - very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes - restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed. They are friendly, and service is very quick and efficient. Food is very delicious and actually has flavor ( which is not always the case for German hotels...

The Restaurant of the hotel guests-is also open, we liked excellent. From the outside it looks due to the slightly strong light it a little uncomfortable, but Inside it looks different, very modern and you feel comfortable, also the owners are working on a Dimmer. Very nice little quiet hotel with swimming pool and sauna. The owner greets the guests personally and very friendly. We feel right at home. There are 2 rooms designed for dogs and their owners. Good German food, great view and very friendly service. The interior could be a bit more modern, but the place was decorated with passion. You won't regret dining here. Especially the location directly next to a skiing hill is a good reason to choose this place.

Outstanding service, food and location. We went 4 persons for riding mountain bike and that worked out just perfect, with a big help from all the persons working at the hotel and we really felt like home :-) Room for the bikes, big apartment with great views and very clean.
