Holiday Inn Express Bremen Airport, an IHG Hotel

Very bad experience with the hotel staff, as my luggage was stolen from the "secured" hotel luggage storage room by other clients who were left unattended whehn they've picked up their luggages on check out. If I haven't had the flight cancelled I wouldn't have had the opportunity to leave that day (19th of July) as my luggages weren't there at the hotel. The way the staff at the reception together with the general manager, who didn't come to the hotel to solve this in a quicker and proper way, was totally unappropriate and I have spent 12 hours until the luggages were found and retrieved at the hotel. The police was there too as I've asked the staff to call the police and look at the cameras. The staff should always enter the secured luggage storage room by themselves and check the room tag put on each lugggage if someone wants their luggages, not leaving the customers unattended in that room, as this is their policy. Please be careful next time you want to store your luggages in the hotel luggage room.

A horrible experience!
We have made a reservation with free cxl, pay at the hotel option, days ago. On the arrival day, around 8 pm, while we we on our way to the hotel, they called us to ask our arrival time. We have told them that we will be there in one hour. After 30 min. they called us again about our arrival time and said that our res. is not guaranteed. I have informed them that we will be there in 30 min. and asked them not no cancel our res. I have guaranteed the res. with my credit card. When we arrived there after 30 min. they shouted us that our res. is cancelled, put the blame on us for making a reservation with pay at the hotel condition. Apparently, if you are making a reservation with free cxl option, they can cancel it without telling you. They said that we can stay at the hotel which is close by, paying more than 50% of the original cost. We are a family of four, with 1 child and 1 baby and it was nightmare to deal with the reception staff and the sleepy children at the same time. They were not apologetic at all, even when I showed my reservation was still active on the app. By the way, finding a parking space was not possible.

Don’t fall for the free cancellation option, unless it is ok for your reservation to be cancelled on the last minute.

Can only comment about the restaurant: all prefabricated food, tasteless and full of chemicals (according to their menu). Only good (not for me) thing is low price. Sorry guys, that's not a restaurant.
