One of the best locations on the Moselle, steps to the old city. Definately get room with front balcony. Biking is so convenient and centrally located to bike both ways all day to many small quaint German villages. Hidden gem of a hotel, sb a 4. A must stop nearby is Berg Eltz, and walk up to Cochems own Reichsburg Castle.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very comfortable with the only criticism being no coffee or tea making facilities in the room or anywhere in the hotel during silent hours. Moselle view from front facing balcony room is lovely however the street sweepers at 5am are very noisy!!! We had a great stay and would stay there again. Excellent place to stay. We spent 2 nights there and were really nice. The staff is so kindly and the breakfast delicious. We traveled with our 2 months old baby boy and they were so nice to put a sleep & play crib for him. We love the service.

Being able to make a short, scenic walk across the bridge to go to the town center was perfect, because I didn’t have to deal with the limited parking. This location also made for the best view around. Overall comfortable stay— staff is friendly, rooms have the amenities that you’d want, bathroom’s cozy, everything’s clean, etc.

Nice hotel, with neat and very clean rooms. Hotel is located quite far from the city center about 15 min. walk. The advantage of this is that you are not in the hustle and bustle. The Hotel itself was very good, room excellent. Parking place is in a few hundred metets and second evening parking place was full.. But after a time we found another parking place.

Friendly staff Very clean rooms, with good beds. Decent and nice sanitary facilities. The only downside on my side was the too soft pillow, but maybe if I had asked for another and they have it, they would certainly help you.

A nice and isolated place in the middle of the woods. The restaurant is good a bit posh and expensive for the isolated location. Nevertheless not the best place for kids, the average age of the clients is 60+. Good service and nice personnel. The room was a bit old and the tv on top of the fridge looks ridiculous and as well dangerous for kids.

A beautiful and peaceful Night here. The Hotel is nicely located in a side valley. Even if the Interior of the hotel is already something into the years, we felt comfortable here. Rooms are large and friendly, including the lovely water noise from the Creek next door. The 4-course dinner was beautifully served and tasted good. Breakfast buffet was also amazing. Overall a clear recommendation!

Modern accomodations. Bike storage area very hard to get to. You have to take your bike down a real steep ramp into a low ceiling Keller area. Breakfast was superior. Large comfortable room.

Went there for some drinks with friends. Average service. Expensive drinks, however, to be expected on such a location with view on the moesel and we also went for large drinks. The drinks were good and refreshening though.

10/10, would stay here again. I just wish it wasn't so crowded in town while we were there...

Very nice and of course located and adjacent to a beautiful nature site. For the walkers it is a paradise. Not too steep, but very challenging. Just outside the tourist town of Cochem. The kitchen of the hotel is very good. And the fresh trout is a finger food. You can hear it already just do it.

We had an amazing 4 days here. I love the fact that only hotel guests can use the terrace - there was always seats for view over the river 😍 We forgot our passports and Bernd was amazing and sent them directly to us and was good in assuring us that they were on the way. I can’t believe the poor reviews posted on here! It’s a 14th century hotel in rural Germany. It doesn’t have some modern ammenities like an elevator or lift for stair free access to every room. The building is old and that’s part of the experience of staying here. Also keep in mind you’re traveling to rural Germany? Take it as an opportunity to learn some German or at least try. Location is perfect, all sights are within walking distance. The room we got (suite) was very big, tidy and nicely decorated. Beds were of good quality. Bathroom was clean, we had enough towels. Also we had a bathtub. The service was very good, all staff was friendly. The only disadvantage was the use of the wifi. You must get a new password ticket every 5 hours.

Amazing view of Cochem from the room. Private balcony to stay up at night and sip the Cochem wine. Location alone makes it one of the best choices. Breakfast options were also good. Hotel Noss is perfectly located along the Mosel River in Cochem. I had one of my best lunches there with potato soup, duck, and smoked salmon. The views from the balcony were great but it was the staff that really set it apart for me as they helped me with getting the most affordable taxi to Berg Eltz as I was there before the seasonal bus started.
