One of the best locations on the Moselle, steps to the old city. Definately get room with front balcony. Biking is so convenient and centrally located to bike both ways all day to many small quaint German villages. Hidden gem of a hotel, sb a 4. A must stop nearby is Berg Eltz, and walk up to Cochems own Reichsburg Castle.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very comfortable with the only criticism being no coffee or tea making facilities in the room or anywhere in the hotel during silent hours. Moselle view from front facing balcony room is lovely however the street sweepers at 5am are very noisy!!! We had a great stay and would stay there again. Very professional and helpful service. During a recent cycle tour we visited several hotels and Wellnesshotel Kessler-Meyer was by-far the best organised and efficient. Able to still give a excellent service under the new restrictions. Meal time options are organised through a web app which still allowed a good menu selection without the need to fill in manual forms or wait in a queue to be served...

The hotel staff is super nice and helpful. The complementary breakfast is fantastic. The spa and pool are incredible. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is that we stayed in the top floor room which had a very low ceiling in parts of the room and was incredibly warm due to the fact that the room seems to be a retrofitted attic which has no air conditioning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms, be sure to ask for one with a view of the castle and the river. Good wellness area with pool, rest area and sauna. The location is quiet but not directly in town. Due to the small size of the town this is not really a problem.

Hotel has some of the best views in Cochem. The staff was hit or miss with their service (one fellow was amazing and accommodating, another wanted nothing to do with our stay). Hotel has a restaurant which is nice for an evening meal. Hotel had a great wine selection and the staff tended to the room everyday! Would stay again.

Brilliant place to stay. We arrived late due to road closure for happy Moselle day. Ralph the hotelier was waiting and couldn't do enough for us,because his the restaurant was closed he booked our party of 6 in at a nearby restaurant, he even bought us all a drink. We spent three days with two of our kids, hiking to Burg Eltz, riding the chairlift up to enjoy the beautiful view over Cochem, canoeing in the river, and cycling to Beilstein and back. The Hotel is very nice, beautiful views, super Breakfast, food is great, very clean, to make the owners of the hotel very nice, rooms cosy and very beautiful, with kettle in room for coffee or tea yourself. Excellent place to stay. We spent 2 nights there and were really nice. The staff is so kindly and the breakfast delicious. We traveled with our 2 months old baby boy and they were so nice to put a sleep & play crib for him. We love the service.

Being able to make a short, scenic walk across the bridge to go to the town center was perfect, because I didn’t have to deal with the limited parking. This location also made for the best view around. Overall comfortable stay— staff is friendly, rooms have the amenities that you’d want, bathroom’s cozy, everything’s clean, etc.

We were in Cochem for 5 days and the hotel is absolutely great! The modernized rooms are well equipped and clean! A family atmosphere! Great service and delicious food! The way to the hotel is a bit exhausting but even that doesn't deter us we will be back!

Nice hotel, with neat and very clean rooms. Hotel is located quite far from the city center about 15 min. walk. The advantage of this is that you are not in the hustle and bustle. The Hotel itself was very good, room excellent. Parking place is in a few hundred metets and second evening parking place was full.. But after a time we found another parking place.

Friendly staff Very clean rooms, with good beds. Decent and nice sanitary facilities. The only downside on my side was the too soft pillow, but maybe if I had asked for another and they have it, they would certainly help you.

A nice and isolated place in the middle of the woods. The restaurant is good a bit posh and expensive for the isolated location. Nevertheless not the best place for kids, the average age of the clients is 60+. Good service and nice personnel. The room was a bit old and the tv on top of the fridge looks ridiculous and as well dangerous for kids.

A beautiful and peaceful Night here. The Hotel is nicely located in a side valley. Even if the Interior of the hotel is already something into the years, we felt comfortable here. Rooms are large and friendly, including the lovely water noise from the Creek next door. The 4-course dinner was beautifully served and tasted good. Breakfast buffet was also amazing. Overall a clear recommendation!

Modern accomodations. Bike storage area very hard to get to. You have to take your bike down a real steep ramp into a low ceiling Keller area. Breakfast was superior. Large comfortable room.

Went there for some drinks with friends. Average service. Expensive drinks, however, to be expected on such a location with view on the moesel and we also went for large drinks. The drinks were good and refreshening though.

10/10, would stay here again. I just wish it wasn't so crowded in town while we were there...

Very nice and of course located and adjacent to a beautiful nature site. For the walkers it is a paradise. Not too steep, but very challenging. Just outside the tourist town of Cochem. The kitchen of the hotel is very good. And the fresh trout is a finger food. You can hear it already just do it.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. The owner couple met us every morning with a friendly smile. The rooms are big and very clean, individually furnished😉 The restaurant serves genuine german food, the best food we tried in Cochem.

The hotel is clean and nice with an attached restaurant, but there were quiet a few things which i didnt like. For some reason the blanket was small, which for a 6 footer was quiet problematic. The food had Dry vegetables in salads, breakfast choice was very limited, bad wifi connection, WiFi stopped connecting at 10 while the checkout was at 11. Overall not value for money.
