We had a very good stay at this lovely hotel. Staff was very helpfull, parking easy for car, location of the hotel is super good. Can only recommend this place!

We have had an super nice weekend in Brixiade & Triton hotel, even the weather was not so good we have had enough to do. Nice village, wonderfull woods for walking around. Great hotel location and view of the castle. The room was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately even with the balcony door closed, the cigarette smoke gets in the room if one of the neighbor rooms has a smoker on the balcony puffing away. When I came up to Cochem, I did not know before how excellent all the things should be in Brixiade and Triton hotels. Every day starts with a delicious breakfast. The dinners has also been super! We stayed here recently and found it to be clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to sit on our balcony sipping a beer or glass of wine looking out at the castle in the evening after a busy day if touring. Stayed 2 nights on a motorcycle road trip from the UK . This hotel is lovely ! Immaculately clean , well thought out , very quiet area , beautiful gardens , lovely breakfast ( fine for me as a vegan as well ) and in the most lovely setting , over looks the beautiful castle on the hill and vineyards at the back . Perfect parking for our motorbike as well . Book it , you won’t be sorry !

We had most relaxing time. The owners were extremely accommodating and kind, and the food was excellent. I would stay there for an extended period if I could. We were there out of season but could see that it would be even better in the summer.

A bit dated, and no AC, but clean, comfortable, charming, and they serve a nice breakfast. The location is perfect! Wine tastings are free for hotel guests, and the terraces are reserved for guests, so there's always room to sit and enjoy the scenery.

We had an amazing 4 days here. I love the fact that only hotel guests can use the terrace - there was always seats for view over the river 😍 We forgot our passports and Bernd was amazing and sent them directly to us and was good in assuring us that they were on the way. I can’t believe the poor reviews posted on here! It’s a 14th century hotel in rural Germany. It doesn’t have some modern ammenities like an elevator or lift for stair free access to every room. The building is old and that’s part of the experience of staying here. Also keep in mind you’re traveling to rural Germany? Take it as an opportunity to learn some German or at least try. I stayed at the Hotel Keßler-Meyer for two nights in September 2023 with a friend. We had a very good time overall. A nice and isolated place in the middle of the woods. The restaurant is good a bit posh and expensive for the isolated location. Nevertheless not the best place for kids, the average age of the clients is 60+. Good service and nice personnel. The room was a bit old and the tv on top of the fridge looks ridiculous and as well dangerous for kids.

A beautiful and peaceful Night here. The Hotel is nicely located in a side valley. Even if the Interior of the hotel is already something into the years, we felt comfortable here. Beautiful scenery and we loved your town. What are the chances we happened to visit for your 200 year reunion looked everyone had a great time. There were also some interesting little shops to explore.

Really really enjoyed this stay in Cochem. The hotel is directly on the Mosel so the views are incredible. We chose a room with a balcony overlooking the Mosel - this was an excellent choice! Only a short walk over the bridge into Cochem centre. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was tasty. We would definitely recommend!

The hotel is clean and nice with an attached restaurant, but there were quiet a few things which i didnt like. For some reason the blanket was small, which for a 6 footer was quiet problematic. I booked the hotel on the day or even on our way travelling. It was spontaneously chosen and turned to be not bad at all. I enjoy the quiet environment here. But locationweise I would not recommend the hotel if someone wants to walk to the old town.

This place is kinda dumpy. The single room was really small and there was no place to put anything. Really no place to put a suitcase except on the floor and there’s barely room to do that. The place really needs to be updated.

The building is old and as you walk through it you can feel that the floors are not even and they creak. However, that also gives it is certain charme. Very nice and of course located and adjacent to a beautiful nature site. For the walkers it is a paradise. Not too steep, but very challenging. Just outside the tourist town of Cochem. The kitchen of the hotel is very good. And the fresh trout is a finger food. You can hear it already just do it.

The room is big and very comfortable, it is silent, good bed. There are no lifts, so we had to climb 4 floors on stairs. It is not easy. The breakfast is very good.

Very nice stay. Restaurant offers very good and local food. Breakfast is just fantastic and the staff is very helpful. The rooms were clean and cosy and we even had a terrace. Location is perfect, all sights are within walking distance. The room we got (suite) was very big, tidy and nicely decorated. Beds were of good quality. Bathroom was clean, we had enough towels. Also we had a bathtub. The service was very good, all staff was friendly. The only disadvantage was the use of the wifi. You must get a new password ticket every 5 hours.

Incredible stay at this quaint property. The kind owner came out as we arrived and helped with luggage and parking. We were fortunate to have a room with a view of the Mosel River and the castle. Although the property is on the quieter side of the river from the city centre, it’s just an easy few minutes walk. Breakfast was incredible. We had a lovely stay at the Zehnthof. The host was so friendly and thoughtful. He ask which room we prefered, the top floor with a beautiful view or a second floor room. The catch was no lift but he offered to haul luggage to the top floor. We really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was all you could desire.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Traumblick for 3 nights in April. We had a "classic Mosel view" room, which is the smallest size on the top floor with slanted ceiling. This was a fabulous hotel. We had a large room with a lovely view of the town, river and castle. The Breakfast was delicious. Fresh, healthy choices… breads, meats, fruit, yogurt. The staff were friendly. There was also Parking available very near to the hotel.

Being able to make a short, scenic walk across the bridge to go to the town center was perfect, because I didn’t have to deal with the limited parking.
