The price is very good, clean rooms, and the hotel staff are very helpful and kind. I rented an apartment with them that was large and clean, and its location is very nice.

family run business, very friendly staff, small sauna & swimming pool in the basement. nice quiet area away from city center. make sure to check out the sandwich shop next door (black bull) - super good food (also mega desserts!).

Zuerst: ich habe NICHT im Regent übernachtet, sondern bin aufs Schwesterhotel Plaza umgebucht worden. Das Plaza hat einen höheren Standard (4 Sterne), aber ich habe den Regent-Preis (3 Sterne) bezahlt. Das Plaza ist natürlich toll, ich mag beide Hotels und steige immer wieder dort ab. Was fine

Cons: No air conditioning Water pressure very low Room was small 32 steps from level 2 elevator to level 2 room! not easy with suitcases. Pros: Very close to train station Rooms have been renovated Hotel was overall quiet and peaceful Wifi had good speed in my room. check-in and checkout was hassle free

Spent 3 nights here, very friendly staff, great breakfast & a clean & comfortable room. Close to city centre with good bars & restaurants. If you like Thai food go to Nuh's about 40 metres across the square, its fantastic😊

We held our 40th anniversary military reunion there. The staff, from the manager down to the chambermaids were excellent. No request was too onerous. From allowing us to fly our flag from their flagpoles to sourcing a breathing machine, as one of the group who suffers with severe obstructive sleep apnoea had left their machine in the UK. Nice place. Hotel is little old, but it is fine. Price for room was very acceptable. In the hotel is a very good restaurant.

We stayed here some nights during a fair in Essen. The rooms are small and way overpriced. Breakfast is good, starting from 5 am. I one of my rooms the glass door in the shower did not close, the water tap in the sink was loose. Staff did not recognize this. Positive is that local Trains leave just opposite of the hotel. This Hotel is not my favorite one.

We've booked a last-minute for one night and we were directed to the side building. A bit shabby on the outside but what an awesome suite on the inside: very spacious, excellent finished, nice bathroom, excellent WiFi. Also the breakfast didn't disappoint at all: various choice, even after 10:00 they resupplied the fresh fruit salads! A real recommendation!

Beautiful hotel, unique service, nice boss and good mattresses, what more could you want? We look forward to our next stop in Duisburg and will come back to the Hotel Zum Iron!

Clean and standard 3star hotel, hard with parking and room was quite small. If you are on business trip it's ok.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was neat and clean. Optionally, you could book breakfast individually on a daily basis. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there is an underground station and a restaurant with very good cuisine.

Decent and cheap hotel. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast. The staff is friendly, helpful and also helps with special requests, with a larger group everything can take a little longer. For one or two nights completely sufficient. Of course this is not a holiday hotel and the location is not first class either. But it does its job for a reasonable price. If necessary, I like to stay here again.

5 Stars. Very nice staff. The rooms are super clean. There are also smoking rooms if you want. The bar is open in the evenings. Dinner for hotel guests possible, by arrangement. Price - performance = top

Budget hotel.

Clean, small rooms in a central location with a suitable price-performance ratio. Would come again and again for a city trip or a family celebration for a simple overnight stay.

Great hotel, excellent personal service provided by beautiful Romanian hostesses, too bad that this morning the police showed up and closed down the property for apparently no reason, they were very rude and kicked everyone out of the building.

it was a very clean hotel and very comfortable. Everything is brand new. its in the center with walking distance you can reach to the mall, train station, car rent center even job center so I think its a best hotel and with great price among the others. i would like to thank to them from here for being kind and very helpful. Good wellsized rooms, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.

Staff at the reception was nice, the room is clean. When I arrived late at night in winter the window was open as the previous guest had been smoking in the room, even if the room was explicitly non-smoking.

Hotel is nice with updated rooms and comfortable beds. There is no air conditioning so it can get a little warm in the summer. Location is pretty good and close to the train station.

Location is perfect, you can walk to City center and there are lots of restaurant near by. The room is small but clean, private parking is €9 or the whole street is paid public parking
