Atlantic Congress Hotel, Essen1 / 50

Essen, Messeplatz 3 🧭 Map
Stayed for 3 nights had a coach which could park 5min walk away cars could park under Hotel. Rooms were excellent and the maid service maticulas with every detail. Good bar great range of single malts
Beautiful location, very functional for congress or other business meetings. The breakfast has a wide range of options. Even for lunch and dinner there were vegan options, although the steak was delicious
Near the hotel there is an incredible park with wildlife and hiking areas
This meant we had to park about 20 minutes walk away, which really undermines the convenience of choosing this hotel for its location. A more reliable parking solution would greatly improve the overall experience
The hall is large, spacious, furnished with a minimal but refined concept. The armchairs, and the glass space where you can enjoy open flames, lit in the evening, are an example of this
The Atlantic Hotel in Essen is a clean and well-maintained property with a great breakfast selection and a stylish bar area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay

Very good, pleasant stay, long queue in front of the coffee machine for the breakfast buffet, normal German filter coffee is recommended. I would stay at the NH-Hotel Essen again anytime. A clear recommendation!
I was there for three nights, I am very satisfied. Nice room, very clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the offer was varied. Rolls need some work.
Very central location, standard rooms are small but very modern and clean. Air conditioning. Nice bathroom. Very friendly reception. Possibility of underground parking. Good value for money.
Breakfast from 6am... Perfect... Very helpful staff... Damn good varied breakfast buffet, delicious coffee and cocoa... Keep it up
Clean, very well located and excellent breakfast. The only problem is that it has a very small parking place and you need to go to a public one just in front of the hotel, but cost extra
Good Hotel for short stay very well located

Essen, Gildehofstrasse 10 🧭 Map
Basically all you need, good priced room and decent bed. BUT the downstairs cafe sells things priced a bit too high. €5,50 for a single water is a bit much
Good internet and otherwise nice place to stay in Essen
We were very happy that the room was ready at our arrival one hour before official check in time. The room was big enough, the bed was comfortable and I really liked the small sitting area next to the bed
Awesome location, like 5mins walk from train station and into the shops Helpful staff and amazing breakfast Must check out the Rosemarie Cafe, cakes are so yummy and great service
Luckily the Hauptbanhoff is close enough to walk to Lidl or Aldi, great location. Only real complaint is the window barely opens. You want fresh air, but you can't really get it
The room was refreshed during our two night stay. There is also an ironing room available for the guests. We had a fun evening playing ping pong at the bar

Stayed at this hotel many times and now always look to stay here when in Essen. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean, good-sized rooms.
We had a wonderful 5 night stay. The rooms were nice and clean — great value for the price! The staff were also the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met in all my travels in Germany
Although it was built in 2000, it doesn't feel old at all. It is clean and tidy, and has a capsule coffee machine. Essen has a large green area, so the air in the whole city is very comfortable
Things to note: - The hotel is a bit of a walk to the city centre and multiple tram tickets can get quite expensive - Parking is 18Euros per day — on the pricier side
You are given a parking ticket to be reused throughout the stay which is super convenient
It is convenient to check in and the service attitude is very good

The common computer printer didn't work either, but the concierge was kind enough to print off the stuff I needed from her office. Always love Holiday Inn, and this one is one of the best I've stayed in
The continental breakfast isn't what you'd be used to in the USA, but it was still good. The only inconvenience was they provided only one room card instead of two
The rooms and beds were nice, but the bathrooms need renovation, and the sound insulation between rooms and hallways was not so good
Not sure if this is normal, but all Holiday Inns I've stayed in provide two. Not usually a big deal, but this hotel requires the room card to be placed in a wall slot to operate the electricity once inside
Rooms are fine for the express brand. We slept 3 easily with the sofa bed. Breakfast is typically German (no complaints), but if you're expecting scrambled eggs and such then you'll be disappointed
Conveniently located a few minutes from the U-Bahn, looks over a pretty square, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Staff was very friendly and spoke English quite well

When pruce for taxinor train is calculated into the total cost of being further away from the Messe the appartment really becomes a very good option. We got an appartment on the 5th floor with a privat balcony
Absolute Gem! Mintrop's Concierge exceeded all expectations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. This contemporary apartment hotel is impeccably clean and meticulously maintained
The location is unbeatable! Just steps away from the U11 subway, connecting you effortlessly to Rüttenscheid, the city centre, and Essen's main „attractions“ like Messe Essen, Gruga Park, and the concert arena
In the appartment there are only cutlery for two people, hence you have to clean it after every use. There is s dishwasher but it makes no sense using it for two knives, two forks and two dishes
The other was the breakfast at EUR 14 pp. but was really few things tonchoose from and no toaster. Staff was fantastic, polite and helpfull. I will for sure stay here again next year
My XS apartment was perfectly equipped with a kitchenette featuring a dishwasher, 2-burner electric stove, microwave, fridge, and all the essentials for cooking and snacking

Everything in the room was clean and appeared new. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and of a good pressure. For a one night stop over it was ideal - close to the motorway
Is very nice hotel and clean ,service is perfect, also the price is very good
Hotel was easy to find and was cheap. Free car parking was also a bonus: Checking in was easy and the gentleman on reception was cheery and welcoming - explaining about the hotel and the room access via PIN number
All in all an enjoyable and relaxing stay
The hotel is easy to reach from the station that is close by. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Parking is free for all guests and you can access the hotel late at night easily
The entry code you get is very helpful and you don't have to carry a key card around with you. Overall a very nice hotel to stay at

I recently stayed at this hotel and was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by incredibly friendly and supportive staff who made me feel right at home
Overall, the experience was very good still, but for the hotel's pricepoint one could expect a bit more
Friendly staff and interesting experience to stay two nights in the UNESCO area. Our room was cold and we couldn’t regulate the temperature but a receptionist quickly fixed the issue
Breakfast buffet was one of the best: the variety of food options is amazing, I’ve tried the real honey comb there 😋
The location is excellent, but the parking price is, at 10 euro a bit steep if you're just spending one night there. Three stars for the rooms; and that is a bit personal
The rooms are not only beautiful but also extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The selection was huge, catering to all tastes and preferences

Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
The charges for the dog (€20) were more than I have seen at other hotels, but the hotel provides a very good service (including dog bowl, towels, extra poo bags if needed) that I feel they can perhaps justify the additional fees
Good, fast and friendly service. Nice rooms, surprisingly quiet place. Rural surrounding in the mid of Ruhrgebiet. Very tasty and good food, wellness area well kept, very clean and pool big enough space to swim
Oh, and not to mention the lovely pool with lounge chairs and a massage bed or the cards and chess boards available for general use and great nonstop internet connectivity (best that I've ever seen!)
Excellent hotel with excellent food and top, top care! Definitely adding them to my short list of hotels to stay in wherever, whenever! Simply a great experience! Yes, yes, YES PLEASE!
Highly recommended if you want to switch off from daily challenges - great hide away place with excellent connectivity to cultural highlights and city life

I had a great meal at the restaurant. After a good night's sleep, a hearty breakfast awaited me. Completely satisfied, I was able to go home with my dog and hereby give a clear and positive recommendation
Thanks to the excellent team and of course to the chef in the background, who during our stay, in addition to his culinary delights, stood out especially for his warmth and therefore did a great job
Exceptionally friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Choice of food and very good taste. Dessert is a feast for the eyes. However, smaller desserts should also be offered. We'll be back anyway!
Beautiful. Very attentive staff, very tasty and original dishes and excellent drinks. And for the first time in nine months, an almost normal restaurant visit.
Awesome service here and good food, like my deer burger which tasted pretty good but unfortunately was too well done for me and therefore a bit dry. However I had a great time here

Good location. Clean. Comfy beds. Quite modern. Good wifi. Amazing for one night, real close to Essen station across the highway.
Good location and comfortable bed. The TV doesn't work properly unfortunately.
Comfortable rooms with good quality service a at Essen central train station
We stayed there just for one night for the Essen Board Game convention and everything was great. The room was clean and spacious and the stuff was very kind to answer any question we had
This new air newly renovated hotel is in a mid age former resident building. All rooms are brand new as well as the interior. The layout is very functional
It seems to attract lots of gamers during that period and we were lucky enough to meet some famous people from the board gaming community staying there

If you enjoy quaint and quality places, this might be your choice in Essen. It's my default for business trips, amazing breakfast, kind staff and the rooms are warm and cosy!
Nice self-service business hotel. Credit card terminal issuing your key as reception. Small single room is just big enough to be comfortable
Hotel Waldhaus-Langenbrahm is a Nice hotel in the center of essen best the messe. It Lies in a forest, it has nice beds and a good breakfast.

The hotel might be a little outdated, but it is absolutely very clean and close enough to the center and the gruggahalle (our destination) Breakfast was great, enough options for everyone

Everything was Good, just the room didn't have a refrigerator.
Clean rooms and good breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet district near the city centre (~5 minutes). The only problem is that only a small part of the staff speaks English.
This is a family run hotel in a suburb of Essen, within easy walking distance of museums, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and good German breakfast
They have a 24/7 reception, what is very nice. Breakfast is good, could be upgraded with eggs or something hot, but is okay. An unencrypted WiFi is a no-go for me
Apart from the refurbished bathrooms, the hotel has a 1980s feel to it, solid and reassuring. The only downside is finding somewhere to park on street. I would definitely use it again
Average quality hotel for the price/location. No restaurant, but a decent breakfast buffet available in the mornings. Staff were somewhat abrupt at times but could well just need a cultural things...

Best ever hotel room with a huge tub!
This hotel was previously none as Move&pick Hotel however they changed the name and the quality of their service too which was a little disappointing. But over all the amenities are good
Room is quite small too Honest to say, the breakfast is quite good

I stayed at this hotel while I was in Germany to see Taylor Swift in Gelsenkirchen. The hotel was nice, the room was almost American sized. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English
Overall is a good hotel. As a platinum owner, no lounge but offers simple dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast is great. The hotel is located in a nice park near the theater and art center.
There is a lovely park right behind the hotel to walk around. The neighborhood is very walkable and has a few restaurants
The train station is very conveniently located just outside the parking lot or you can walk 10 minutes to the Essen HbF
Lovely stay here for work! Nice cool rooms albeit need a bit of updating. Spacious & safe/ pleasant staff.
But the front desk was very efficient with check in and check outs. The restaurant was basic but had outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Stadtgarten and the water body. The rooms are old but well sized
