Average stay, large room, good Corona breakfast, shower curtain hygiene not the best.

Excellent location. It's a few steps away from the pier. All kinds of restaurants and shops around you. A big supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good clean room with enough space. Good breakfast. It was a pleasant 11 day business stay.

Stayed here for a work trip. Room was reasonably priced and comfortable enough. Bathroom was quite dated and cramped, but good service from the staff and decent breakfast served.

Good service, awesome breakfast. Value for money. Location is fantastic. Near the waterfront restaurants, 5 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes from the main bus/train station.

Close to the Promenade and in the main tourist area. Breakfast was fine. Didn't bother to cross the street to go to the room in the next building.

I try to be careful when making reservations for hotels - I like to find that hidden special place to stay. The Merian - a modern building - is approx 12 minutes walk from the railway station - with a little uphill walk. There is on site parking if you arrive by car. A bus stop - for regular services into town are just a few minutes walk away, though you could walk in 15 minutes via the lake front...

Another business trip to the Boden See which not always fascinating however, this beautifully created gem in Friedrichshafen gave me great joy. Staff is exceptionally friendly everyone feels like we would be family. The design is great good touches. Best part in the room my name was on the wall. Thank you definitely coming back

I have stayed few days in Friedrichshafen work related. First few days we tried to eat here but unfortunately they had their day off and next day company excursion. The hotel is very conveniently located, just 5 min by foot from the main station and not far from the lake shore. The rooms are quite small but well equipped (including fan). Great hotel with modern rooms with balcony and on 2 levels. Very nice and polite staff in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and if something was missing it was immediately refilled. We had dinner there 3 times and it was really tasty, I can recommend the pepper steak and fried potatoes.

Great pub and hotel. Food nice, do have a smoking area, I am not a smoker. But was OK for me. Nice atmosphere, the bar lady, waitress so efficient, was the most experienced I've come across in a very long time. Great job.

Great hotel, which is not far from the lake. We were a larger group of motorcyclists. We had parking spaces directly at the hotel. Rooms are very modern and absolutely clean! The proprietor was very welcoming and is also a keen motorcyclist so we had a good conversation. The room was on the top floor and spotlessly clean. I stayed here for one night. The hotel is clean. The self-check-in works well. I thought the breakfast was good. Everything was average quality at a fair price... The pillows could be a bit newer (they were a bit worn). The staff was nice.

A beautiful old villa with a distinct charm. Modern pop art paintings hang throughout the interior. The room on the third floor, without an elevator, is beautifully renovated and equipped with the essentials. The shower is in a corner of the room, and the toilet is outside, next door. The place is very cozy, it isn't too cramped and it also has outdoor seats. The service was good, waiters could be a little nicer though. The food was amazing and for the price, it is very worth it. It was my first time eating in a greek restaurant, and I'm happy that my first bite of greek food was at this restaurant!

Lodged here for a short time as it was fair priced and not too far away from the places I had in mind. Check in is really 24 hours ( key box ). Interior ( carpets for instance ) could be better but considering the price it was okay. On-site parking is additional 5 EUR and off-site parking spaces are rare. The actual location which can be noisy. Staff was friendly.

I give this hotel a three star review, the pros: Room was big and clean Cheap Quick check in Cons: The whole hotel smelt of smoken, the walls are very thin, and the front desk man was very sarcastic and a bit rude.

A great weekend place or longer stay The hotel is in an excellent spot in Friedrichshafen. We had a beautiful room that was well appointed with lots of extras that American travelers are accustomed to: refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of towels. The properties well maintained. On one of the hottest July days we showed up shortly after 5 p.m. and were rewarded with an empty parking lot and cool biergarten shaded by six old chestnut trees.
